Hello, ready for a new HubMob topic?  Well, for the third week in a row we are going to be mirroring the Eat, Drink, & be Hubbalicious Contest  so all of you who want to take part in the HubMob and contest can start now submitting your Hubbalicious hubs.

Please, those of you entering the contest make sure to categorize your hub under the right category for that day.  This week we are finally going to be writing recipes, from breakfast recipes to starters, main dishes, drinks and special diets.  This is the week to dust off all those family recipes, to tell us your secret ways of achieving the perfect dish.

The subtopics for this week, categorized per day for those taking part in the contest are:

    Tuesday, June 15: Breakfast Recipes
Wednesday, June 16: Starter & Snack Recipes
Thursday, June 17: Main Dish & Side Dish Recipes
    Friday, June 18: Dessert Recipes
    Saturday, June 19: Beverage Recipes
Sunday, June 20: Quick & Easy Recipes
Monday, June 21: Vegetarian & Vegan Recipes

To join this week's HubMob please follow the steps below:

    1. YOU MUST START YOUR HUB CLICKING THIS LINK.  Choose the Answer the Request green button.  Choose the MAKE A HUB ABOUT IT option.

    2. Choose a relevant title for your Hub to get a good ranking in the search engines, AVOID starting your title with "Weekly HubMob"

    3. Include the HubMob RSS Feed in your hub: http://hubpages.com/question/55700/hubm … ew&rss
For more information on how to add the RSS feed to your hub you can click here

    4. Add one of the HubMob graphics to your hub so that everyone who reads it will know that it is part of the official HubMob topic of the week.

    http://i43.tinypic.com/rup3mg.jpg

    5. After you publish your HubMob Hub, come back to the forum and post a link to your hub with a brief description of what you wrote about and why.  Take advantage of the free publicity!

If you are still not sure about what is a HubMob and the benefits of taking part in one I created this guide http://hubpages.com/hub/What-is-a-HubMo … o-join-one  please feel free to come up with any questions if you have any doubts left.

By the way, how many hubmobs can we post for every topic?  In the contest page, it says "for only up to 5 hubs" are allowed from each hubber per topic. Is it the same here?  Just wanted to clarify and make sure if I understand it right.

Sorry to bother Princessa,  I'm still a newbie to hubpages. :-)

It's no bother at all, its always a pleasure to help a fellow hubber and HubMobster smile

There is no limit as to how many hubs you post for a topic in a week.  You can post as many quality hubs as you want.

I have been out of this contest for some time. I have a recipe that I want to add for the main dish one. It has already been started but not through your links. Since it isn't published yet, do I need to redo it through the links on this page?

      1. Princessa profile image82
Princessaposted 13 years agoin reply to this

Yes, for a hub to be a HubMob hub it needs to start from the answer the request link above.

        1. Sandyspider profile image74
Sandyspiderposted 13 years agoin reply to this

The link that leads to answer this question, there is no question. Do I just fill in what I will be writing about? Or do I fill that in for each time I publish a hub for the subject?

Also, I can set it up for the days in advance, but do not publish it until the day of the contest for that subject. Right?

Princessa, I've had trouble with the Recipes and Cooking Techniques graphics.  Usually the default is JPEG, which works fine.  Are you doing something diferent? Now the default is PNG, and only other option is bitmap, neither of which will load for hub photo capsules.  I can't save file location either w/o laboriously copying the URL by hand.  I've had to go to another hubber's hub and copy as a JPEG, with resolution degraded.

          So it seems (lol)!

Actually, I had already written some of them a week ago. I was just saving them as draft in word document as I took some time to cook some of them and as well as take photos myself.  I've just only waited for this week to publish them as  hubmobs.

Perhaps, I'm planning to cook something special for breakfast tomorrow morning, too!  As soon as I can take a very fine capture of my food, I might as well write another hub about it! Though it depends if my toddler at home will give me time to do that! :-)

It's good that you asked this question coz I'm not sure either but I copied and used it for my recently published hubs after I had difficulty downloading the Recipes & Cooking Techniques image.  To save time (as it's also a JPG file), I used it instead.

However, just now I think Princessa has already fixed it (the Hubmob graphic), though if this one above is not allowed to appear in our hubs, I might as well change the ones I posted on my hubs.

Yes the graphic at the beginning of Princessa's thread post is the "Recipes HubMob" specific graphic.  The graphic at the end of Princessa's post is the more generic HubMob graphic. You can use either.
