   What is the weather like where you live today..... It is really warm here in Ireland, i should be out taking advantage of the sunshine, instead of typing on hub pages, but i like connecting with friends.....
   
   Whatever your beliefs, or non beliefs, lets have a peaceful chatty thread.....  and break the chain of arguing in kthe religion forum.......

      It was 98%F earlier today with a heat index of 111%

      It has been hot and humid here in Virginia.  I would love a few days of rain.  The grass is crunchy and brown.  I would love to see Ireland!  The pictures I have seen shows it to be beautiful country.  At least I do have the mountains.

         I just drove through the Virginia mountains yesterday afternoon.  They did look so beautiful! - But we kept the windows up and the AC on as much as possible.  Hot and humid - yep.
         
         Being in the car (as passenger or driver) 24 hours out of the past 50+ has me sooooo stiff and sore.  I'll just think about the beautiful mountains to try to forget about the stiffness.
         
         Back home now, I haven't been outside at all, so I can't describe our weather!  It looks hot through the window.

   wow it is not that hot here, just nicely warm, we get very little sun, so as i said should be out in it ........ my skin cannot take it though.... so i will stay here a while.

      I think my ancestors are Irish,  So i always had a yearning to visit there. Hopefully someday I will.

         you know what eveyone seems to want to visit Ireland.   So many how to move away from here in the past.  Unfortunately trouble is brewing in the north again, which is a pity.  Where i live near the beach, and a quiet little town, things are on the whole beautiful, and i am sure you would enjoy it should you get the time to visit.

   Have you noticed, there's a very easy way to enjoy peace and friendship on the HubPages forums?
   
   Just stay away from the Religious and Political threads.  Most of the other threads are quite pleasant - the trouble is, people hardly notice them because the recent posts in the religious and political forums overwhelm everything.  Learn to use the left-hand menu and choose the other forums, and you'll be sweet.

      As long as i am around i will do my best to keep it peaceful , this is an experiment........  I know Earnesthub will keep it peaceful for me, should he visit and Mark, we go back a long long way..........

      Deaconess, I'm waiting to look tonight too.  They were supposed to show up last night, but I'm too concerned about meeting up with animals out there to go out at 3.  Maybe tonight.  Someone on here posted a photo Hub with the Northern Lights, and it was beautiful.   I'm not expecting anything that great from where I am.
      
      Enjoy any Northern Lights you get to see, everyone.

         I experienced them once before, like ten years ago, and we were right in the midst of it! The lights were very near the ground, dancing not just above, but "around" us, and actually touching us! It was amazing how those lights behaved and felt like living beings! Other people who had seen them before said they had never seen them so close and near the ground before. I don't know if I'll ever have that opportunity again, but I hope so!

      I dream of seeing the Northern Lights one day...but last night here in the Eastern Sierras in California, we were star-gazing and saw a most amazing falling star-'twas blue!

   The temp here has been over 100 degrees.  It's already in the high 80's now...it's only morning.  It feel like an oven in the late afternoon. Very hot............

   I am really trying to get us to the CA heat here in Sacramento. 90+ every day and sun, sun, sun.  I want rain, peaceful, beautiful falling rain with a bit a thunder and lightning.

   I spent loads of time in Ireland, beautiful place and most of the people are lovely!
   
   At the moment it is a really comfortable 35 degrees C here in China, and sunny - and we move into our new (for us) apartment today.

         Its the peat bog water I guess !  but a good pint of Guiness is still the best beer anywhere, getting a good pint is not so easy though in these days of chilling it to death

    Weather's been rainy here for a couple of days, temperature about 21°C. That's why I haven't had to work so much, and actually had a whole day off today. That's why I've been able to spend soooo much time here on HubPages, and have even managed to finish a Hub ...
    But my backside hurts from sitting too long - I'm not used to it.

    hot and clammy again here, what is it like where you are.  This is a tiny little sea side town, and there was a shooting in the pub nearby at weekend. I used to live in Greater Manchester, where there were shooting like .......... all the time.  Here however everyone is talking about it.  The person was not killed by the way
