I was looking at my traffic and traffic sources and I noticed that I now have over 7300 total views but only 3100 of them from HP. So, I have finally began to get more outside traffic than the HP traffic! Hopefully, it will continue to rise in percentage. I know there are many hubbers here who put me to shame on traffic but for the most part, I only promote my HP on Yahoo Answers profile and in articles that I publish with some article sites. Maybe I should see what happens if I really tried to promote it in other sites! Just had to share this with my hubber family!
Congratz to you Bonnie for the amount of traffic your getting. Hopefully I can aspire to that amount of traffic as well.
Where else do hubbers promote their hubs other than yahoo answers, and article publishing?
Bonnie - I think we should all celebrate as many milestones as possible! This definitely qualifies! Steph Congratulations!
I agree with Steph - milestones are important! And Bonnie, you are doing just fine - you've got a lot more traffic through your hubs than I do through mine, and we joined up about the same time.
I just reached a milestone of sorts today too - I just got my 50th fan.
Happy Hubbing everyone!
Congratulations are definitely in order, there!
Keep up the good work ...
This is a great day for milestones! First, and most excitingly for me, my overall hub score has reached 96, which is the highest it's been. I know it'll go up and down, but that's the highest I've seen on my hubs.
The other interesting thing is that all of my hubs, for the first time in my memory, have had at least one hit in the past day.
The other piece is, not surprisingly, the sexy test hub I wrote has more hits in a day and a half than any other hub I have. I've also gotten some interesting feedback from some of the folks who have visited that hub. One in particular said she visited it because of the title, and she saw the humor in it, so my little experiment may be skewed a little.
I've also gotten several new fans since I announced last night that I had hit 50 fans, which is most cool. Thanks guys!
More promotion = more visitors and as we all know there are litterally hundreds of ways to do this..
WOW! I got busy after I posted this yesterday and been working on a new hub this morning so I just came in to see all these wonderful responses! You guys are the best! Congrats to all others who listed milestones as well! It is a great feeling of accomplishment when we reach these goals.
As for more traffic, that will probably come with time, I think. I guess the reason I haven't promoted as much as most do is because I don't do the adsense and such. I guess if I wanted the extra money from the visitors I would probably be promoting like crazy LOL. But I am happy just to have my pages read for now. I use my other article sites for my business promotion and my website. This is more a personal hobby for me in HP. Although, I have ended up with some great business partners from all the traffic! Thanks for all the support you guys give. It is great to be in such a great community!
This is fantastic Bonnie!
It's so important to have a creative outlet, and HubPages is definitely that!
I just went over to Yahoo Answers to check it out- it's amazing the variety of questions asked.
Congratulations! That is definitely something to be proud of!
Wtg. I've noticed that lately I get more visits from Google than HubPages. I get more from HubPages right away but after a few days Google takes over
Same here, UW. Of course, our connection with HP is a bit more direct and immediate so you could expect that LOL. Thanks all for the nice comments and congrats!
Good Job Bonnie. Now make a video of yourself dancing around and you're all set!

Hi Hubbers, I'm a newbie, and I didn't come here expecting to make big bucks. But I'm excited about earning my first penny here after six days, five hubs, and 61 views. Many seasoned hubbers have advised newbies not to stress about views, hubber scores, and other metrics. But I wonder, what...

I want to thank Hubpages for allowing me to publish here. You were my first love for publishing online. I still haven't found another lover like you and can't seem to let you go. With all the arguments and disagreements I am still here. Hopefully, I'll fall in love with you like before.I have been...

I've been watching my numbers the past few days and tonight I finally made more than one million page views! I've been here just over 5 years and almost lost the whole site in the summer of 2014. It's been a long crawl back, but with the help and advice of other hubbers, the...

Woop, woop . . . I hit another milestone today, 100,000 views to my hubs. Yeaaay! I'm grateful to all of my fellow hubbers who read and share my hubs. But I'm eternally grateful to those who come by way of organic traffic. Organic traffic is King. Woop, woop!Advice: Patience and luck. Having one or...
