I do read the forums..I know I don't post much..
I signed a contract yesterday to write a cookbook...I am so amazed!
I have gotten a lot of inquiries via HubPages...was interviewed for a magazine (they found me on Hubs), picked up several freelance jobs...and now this cookbook.
Pretty cool indeed-- also hot, (depending on what you are cooking).
Keep us updated--- sounds like a positive happening!
Nice going, Marye. HubPages can really showcase your talent. It's a fringe benefit. Congratulations.
Just another benefit of writing at Hubpages (Just for people who don't understand how they are going to benefit from HP). Congratulations and Best Wishes Marye.
That is terrific, good on ya... cheers Hope the book goes well.
Congratulations! - Writing a cookbook could be a lot of fun.
thank you everyone!
It is surprising how much weight hubpages carries on a resume.
Great news! Good luck with that, and let us know when it is published - maybe Hubbers can have a small discount on it.
Wow, that is really cool. Now I didn't know Hubpages could be this beneficial! Whoa. I am so happy for you.
Congratulations Marye. Your hard work is paying off. Best of Luck with your cookbook
Congrats Marye, and best of luck climbing to the top of the best sellers list!
You must be on cloud nine, I'm very happy for you.
I am on cloud nine and very nervous! The deadline is less than 2 months away and I have 300 recipes to do.
But yeah, you would be surprised what writing on Hubpages can open up for you!
That is absolutely amazing. It just goes to show that hard work can pay off. Congratulations.
Marye, Truly inspiring.
Congratulations and wish you tons of luck and love.
That's fantastic! Congratulations. Be sure to let us know when it is released

Yesterday, I got a mail from HP that one of my articles (a recipe) is shifted by them to the niche site 'delishably'. This may be a small achievement but I thought to just share it...

Dear All, My HubPages score hit 100 on July 4, Independence Day! Just wanted to thank all of you who have become my fans and have left those kind comments on my hubs. I realize that I have not written a hub in about 1 week. I have some ideas written down and need to get back to contributing hubs....

I'm sorry, but I just have to post this: Yesterday was my best day EVER on HP. Highest traffic day since I joined, and highest earnings, too. IF (notice I said big "if") this continues, my family will have an extremely merry Christmas!
