What is your favourite music decade?
Is your favourite music from the 40s, 50s,60s, 70s..., or even classics from the 1900s?
I'm about to write a hub on this so I was just wondering...
1960s with Motown. 1970s with pop and soul. 1980s with R&B and love songs from Barry White, Peaches & Herb, Al Green, Marvin Gaye.
The 1960s and 1970s were my favorite music decades. The Stylistics, Delfonics, The Dells, Earth,Wind, and Fire, Ohio Players, and Tavares just to name a few of the populars groups at the time were some of my favorite groups. There were many more but I can't list them all here.
60's and 70's all genre's. Love the stuff mentioned by the others but it wouldn't be right not to mention Otis Redding and "The hardest working man in show business" Mr. James Brown, who I had the pleasure of meeting and seeing live. Ain't no drag, papa's got a brand new bag!
!950's to the 1990's.. I love all songs during those decades.
My favourite music was from the 60's and 70's - the Beatles, The Who, Earth Wind and Fire. I love motown too. I was born in 1965, and grew up with these artists as my parents played them on their grammophone! Now I feel old.
I love music from every decade:) but my most favorite music decades are the 90's, 70's, 60's.
The 80s is my favorite decade in music. It brings the most nostalgia for me, and I'm a big fan of the New Wave, rock, punk, and a lot of the pop music to come from that time, along with a lot of electro and funk. Of course I love the 70s almost as much.
Hands down, for me is the 70's. Fleetwood Mac - my all time favorite!
I'm a gray-haired great-granny, but still loving '70s Classic Rock! I also love R&B, pop and soul from that decade, as well as from the mid-to-late '60s. But Classic Rock tops them all for me.
i love classic rock. my favorite bands are Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Queen, Journey, The Doors, and the Rolling Stones. That being said, hands down my favorite decade was the 70s.

My music taste has changed greatly since I was 16, although the scene at the time has a big impact on me today. I loved Duran Duran when I was 16. I now love Radiohead, The National and Joy Division. Who were your favourite band when you were 16?Thought this would be interesting...
