Depends.  Are anime considered cartoons?  If so, Inuyasha, Wolf's Rain, and Witch Hunter Robin.

If not, I'm all about old school Nickelodeon: Rocko's Modern Life, Doug, Aaaah! Real Monsters, and of course, Ren & Stimpy!

And the for the classics:  THUNDERCATS!

Got to be Captain Caveman!!  I'd watch that cartoon as a child and would sit glued to the telly then.  Not now though LOL.  I remember thinking how action packed it was and that it beat Pepe the Skunk any day (LOL).  Childhood memories...now that's a treat!

    But Freakazoid rawked.

Now that my Dad has passed on, my favourite would have to be RoadRunner, just because of the memories that come back to me when I see one of the cartoons, of him watching it and laughing so hard that tears rolled down his cheeks - happy memories.

I'd have to go with Daria or Dexter's Laboratory, although some of the earlier Simpsons episodes were great.  The newer Batman cartoons are more dramatic animation, but are good too.

For movies, Yellow Submarine, My Neighbor Totoro, Kiki's Delivery Service and Spirited Away.

The Simpsons is one of my favorite animated cartoon television show, Marge, Homer, Bart, Lisa, and Maggie are hiliarious.

The Simpsons has won 25 Primetime Emmy Awards, 26 Annie Awards and a Peabody Award. Time magazine's named it the 20th century's best television series, and the Simpson family was awarded a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

The Simpsons is the longest-running American sitcom, the longest-running American animated program, and in 2009 it surpassed Gunsmoke as the longest running American primetime entertainment series.

Thats pretty amazing for a cartoon.
