    'k, i found a link to bobby flay's recipe:

Bobby Flay's Page with the dry rub recipe at FoodNetwork

he likes a LOT of spice. i don't like as much, so i adpapted it with fewer ingredients, but i'm sure everyone else will enjoy his recipe. he's a master griller. (and dead sexy, heh wink

Not so much a 'sauce' as a seasoning (maybe?)

This is a stove-top, rather than grill, cook.

First, you heat some EVOO in a frying pan that's just gonna be big enough to hold the steaks you are cooking. Don't want too much extra room. Throw in a heaping tablespoon of minced garlic and brown it a little. Then your steaks (salted and heavily peppered with fresh ground pepper) go right on top. Press down a bit to get some garlic fried onto the surface of the steak and let it cook until you get a good char on that side of the steak. Flip 'em over and repeat (not all the garlic will stick to the one side). Make sure the pepper and garlic is charred onto the surface well then keep on the heat three minutes per side (more or less depending on the thickness of the steak). Don't go beyond medium-rare or the meat will start to get hard. High heat all the way. For the last 30 seconds per side apply a little butter and let that cook onto the surface.

When you take it off the heat, don't cut the steak for a few minutes (let those protiens set evenly in the meat). Then cut into 1/4 to 1/2 inch strips - get those juices flowing.

Go back to the pan you cooked the steak in (don't wash or rinse, for the love of God!)and throw in some onions and green peppers (big-ish cuts) and saute them up. You may need a little more EVOO to get 'em going and not burning. You can add some mushroom, cherry tomatoes, asparagus (slighly boiled first) if you really want to go nuts.

When these are ready, spread out on a large plate, place your steak strips on top of the veggies, pour the juice that will be on the plate you cut the steak on over everything and you're in business. Some red wine, maybe a salad on the side - boom! good eats.
