A bright and cheery Monday, everyone! (or a cold and misty one if you're here in San Francisco...)

Ready for this week's Weekly Topic Inspiration topic? Brought to you by Maddie Ruud, it's board games and card games. Ready to have a go at it? Keep your topic tight and focused, like "Card Games for Long Airplane Flights", "Board Games for Kindergarteners", "Card Games for 8 People" and countless other topics like it. Make sure your Hub title is specific and to-the-point.

Participation is easy. All you have to do is follow these directions below.

    1)    Click here to visit this week's topic.
    2)    Click the green button "answer this question".
    3)    Click the gray button below the box (leave that empty) that says "make a Hub about it."
    4)    Give your Hub a very specific title, like Card Games for Long Airplane Flights or Board Games for Kindergarteners.
    5)    Create good quality original content that hasn't been covered before.
    6)    After you publish your Weekly Topic Inspiration Hub, come back to this forum thread and post a link to your Hub with a brief description of what you wrote about and why.

    Have fun, everyone!

Meanwhile I wonder if people may be interested in the History of the Playing Cards that I wrote about previously...

    Thanks Jason and Maddie!

There are many board games on the market, so I thought that a guide would help to choose some good, quality games for your family to enjoy.  I've played these games growing up and have also played these with my children.  In fact, we're still playing these, and some of them are teens!  smile

Here's my contribution for this week:

    Hi-
(Yes, Jason--it's why I moved away from SF; born & raised there, got sick of freezing all summer!) ;-)

    Question:

There is no more "changing theme" graphic to include to identify our hubs for this new name of the thing that used to be a Hub Mob.

Can we copy and use the "weekly topic inspiration" graphic at the top of THIS page, with the thought bubble & the little girl??  That way, any outside traffic would know they were looking at a 'themed' topic.

    1. Jason Menayan profile image59

Sure, I don't see why not. smile

  5. Beth100 profile image71

Whoops!  I automatically assumed that the bubble topic graphic was to be included in the hub.  I have it on my hub already.

Can I keep it?  Huh?  Huh?  Can I?  Can I?  lol

I just realized that this Hub did not show up as an answer on the question page. I followed all directions, so I'm not sure why it didn't show up. I began working on it last night and I just published it. Could there have been a disconnect somewhere? Oh well. Just wondering. smile

Don't know if I contact Jason through here about the problem I'm having, or somewhere else. The link from this forum to my hub, Rich Dad Cashflow for Kids: A Fun Board Game About Money http://hubpages.com/hubtool/edit/2511780 goes to an incomplete version of the hub (it's stuck in edit mode and when I click done editing and return to this forum and try to get through again, the same thing happens). Denise Handlon also told me that she couldn't access the my hub through the forum link.
