‘Tis the season my fellow Hubbers! Let’s share our favorite holiday dishes and desserts. If your favorite seasonal dishes have nothing to do with the winter holidays, worry not. This theme is open to all holiday dishes regardless of season or date.

Don’t have a particular Hub in mind? Here are some search-friendly titles to consider using:
    Cooking Healthy for the Holidays
    World’s Greatest Holiday Dessert
    Five Killer Holiday Dessert Recipes
    Five Healthy Holiday Recipes
Holiday Dessert Ideas for Novice Cooks
Healthy Lunch Ideas for the Holidays
Quick Dinner Ideas for the Holidays
    Holiday Meal Ideas
Healthy Supper Ideas for the Holidays
    Simple Dinner Ideas for Christmas
    Simple Dinner Ideas for Hanukkah
Simple Dinner Ideas for Valentine’s Day
Quick Healthy Meals for Fourth of July
    Healthy Meal Ideas for Hanukkah
Healthy Easy Meals for Winter Holidays

And feel free to switch out “Holiday” or “The Holidays” with a specific holiday’s name. wink

Also, be sure to use the Recipe Capsules in your Hubs!

To create search-friendly titles of your own, follow the steps outlined in this Learning Center guide.

If you'd like to join in on this week's topic by writing a Hub, follow these steps:

    1)    Stop by this week's Weekly Topic Inspiration Question.
    2)    Click the green button "answer this question".
    3)    Click the gray button below the box (leave that empty) that says "make a Hub about it."
    4)    Give your Hub a very specific title, like Easy Summer Gardening Projects for Kids or Challenging Summer Activities for Teens
    5)    Create good quality original content that hasn't been covered before.
    6)    After you publish your Weekly Topic Inspiration Hub, come back to this forum thread and post a link to your Hub with a brief description of what you wrote about and why.

For more information on the Weekly Topic Inspiration program, check out the Learning Center guide.

Should you want your WTI Hub to have a shot at becoming a Hub of the Day, make sure the images are legally used and properly attributed!

I must say, I'm really liking this weekly topic inspiration!  It even motivated me enough to write a Hub!

I decided to do something different, yet still applicable to the topic of Holiday Recipes.. and despite not being much of a drinker besides the odd glass or wine or craft beer... I present to you:

LOL on me! - I used the "Killer" holiday recipe title and ads were disabled for "killer."  I changed it to Great.

      What fun computer systems are!

      http://pattyinglishms.hubpages.com/hub/ … -One-Dough

("Killer seems OK in the URL, though) - Anyway - Chocolate and Ribbons, Coconut Lime, and Olive-Oil Glaze cookies among others.

      Have a great weekend, everybody!

Hi Simone! This is a great recipe for making the most of a leftover turkey carcass and turkey meat. Or you can just use the chicken option. It's a nice break from typical holiday fare! (although I love it all) http://vespawoolf.hubpages.com/hub/Chic … up-Recipes

Oh, I wish I could have shared this with my sister on Thanksgiving- it was the first time she roasted a whole turkey and had no idea what to do with the leftover meat!

Simone,  Oh, dear.  I answered this question last night and posted  I would write a Hub about it.  I have almost completed the Hub.  Now I don't see my post.  So now I don't know if my answer is "imbedded" in the Hub.  Am I OK to repost and proceed with the Hub?

Did you write a Hub, mary615? Even if you missed the step of writing a Hub as an answer to the official WTI question, it's OK- you can still share your WTI Hub here. big_smile

Thanks, Simone.  I sure thought I did the step of "writing a Hub as an answer".  I will come back and share when I complete my Hub.  It requires a lot of photos and I won't be finished with my project until the end of the week.  I can't wait untill I finish it!  It is an old family tradition (and recipe).

    Hi Simone!
I hope this qualifies for WTI. It was recommended to offer it up. I know a few people who aren't traditionalists but still celebrate in their own way. I wrote this last year, but I make it every year. I am so thankful you started this. Great motivation for me! smile

      Hi,
I know this is off the topic at hand, but I need to get some info from a real-life hub person & yours was a more recent, so I chose you.  I've been interested in working online from home & clicked on a few links last week & have been getting calls & emails from various places....tonight was a guy with Amazon.com who talked about it's affiliate program, which led me here.
I just wanted to find out from real people if this is legit & should I pay the 69.00-99,00 fee for them to build a webste, etc. Can you tell about your getting started here & whether you'd recommend it, the pro's, con's you might have wished someone could have shared with you, PLEASE.  I'd be forever grateful.  Thanks
