It is pretty addicting, but there's lots to learn so why not enjoy it while you can? smile

Hubpages is a great addiction, as long as you are not doing any chemical substances simultaneously.  LOL!!!

It only gets worse Paul, but the good news is that it's a positive addiction. You hone your writing skills and maybe make a few bucks, all the while building a portfolio of your work. Welcome to hubpages my friend.

After being here for 3 years, I go through phases. Sometimes I spend a lot of time at Hubpages and then I need a break away from it for a week or two. You'll stay addicted for a awhile though.

I've been addicted. Then I began to write for other sites and began my own blog. It's sort of fun, and there are worst addictions. It's time consuming to write, my husband was a little put off when I began writing so much at first. But I love the creative outlet. I wish I had time to read more of everyone else's work, there's so much good stuff here. I try to hub hop when I can, you find some good writers that way, and also keep up with who is writing about what. Use your addiction time wisely smile

Hubpages will make strange and sudden changes that contradict their previous strange and sudden changes. Your enthusiasm will die after the second or third such cycle. Welcome to Hubpages.

Being addicted to hubpages is normal, don't worry about it. There are so many wonderful topics and wonderful hubbers who write amazing articles. You will feel like coming back and reading more. In fact, some of the facts I get to know is through hubpages.

    Welcome to hubpages smile

There's a solution to this problem:  Write more hubs. I'm certain this'll get better:-)

  20. xstatic profile image62
    xstaticposted 11 years ago

This is a common problem. It has afflicted me for nearly a year now, reading, writing and commenting. I suspect writing more hubs as aykianink suggested will help by deepening the addiction to where it is the major part of your life.
