I haven't written here for a while here so my income is completely  passive.  I'm amazed to see that not only is my traffic continuing climb slowly but more surprisingly so is my CPM!

It is now more or less double what it was a few months ago.  My earnings have therefore increased fairly dramatically.  is anyone else seeing this improvement or is it just me? smile

Mine are slow but I didn't even put most first hubs on here until this past weekend so I believe I should expect that.

Me too.  May actually get back to a payment a month if this continues.

I've definitely seen an increase in traffic over the past week or so; more than I've ever had. But I just started here at HP in the spring of 2012.

Mine had been moving up steadily until today, at which time they halved. Yeay!

Yes, I am actually getting ranked now unlike my other account I used in 2010-2011 mainly.

Apparently in the summertime Hubpages traffic drops dramatically, then picks up again in the fall.

I noticed that too. This was my first Fall here. My traffic has never been that high, except for a time around the winter months, then dropped in the Summer and now has risen in the Fall.

We like it when cpms rise as well.

We just rolled out a new type of ad format that is providing quite a bit of lift for people viewing on desktop. Also, we are working on mobile monetization improvements that should be ready to test in a couple of weeks.

The last two days are the best cpm days we have seen in a while.

Keep up the great work!  It's refreshing to hear that the HP (tech) team is committed to rolling with the punches and adapting, and to seeing the site through the ebb and flow of such hardships as Google algorithm updates and downsizing.  It makes me feel even more determined to do my part and contribute the best content that I can create.

The CPM rise is very encouraging - thanks Paul and the staff for all your efforts - looks like they are beginning to pay off! smile

Happily mine are up a touch too. I am one of the lucky people who gets paid every month. I just wish I earned enough to live on.

I am doing pretty well this month, too. I am not near where I was a few years ago, but thankfully, I am doing a lot better than I was a few months ago.  I hope things stay this way for a while. I miss getting payments every month.

My experiences on my other account are that one can receive a boost in traffic for a while which heralds a significant reversal at some point; so much so that visitor numbers can double or more, then reverse to half those which one had before the increase.
I therefore suggest you do not place too much on any increase in numbers.
On the other hand, an increase in ad revenue is to be thankful for - if it is an increase on CPM then that could be permanent. Then it is time to thank the P'sTB (HP) for their efforts in this rspect.
