HubMob Weekly Topic: Our Rights
Human, civil and animal rights
Human & Civil Rights I believe are inherent.
"Animal Rights" to some including myself, are just as important however the "Law" in many states defines an animal as "Personal Property" just like a Watch, an Automoblie, or even a Dollar Bill. "Legal Remedies" for all personal property law suits are subject to the same criteria in most cases.

Rights in this country cover a large spectrum of issues. For the most part they refer to human rights. Human rights give us the authority to perform in an act because we were born into the human species.

Any or every rights will only do us good if they are fair rights. Do you consider any current rights in any country fair and not abused? I think some people have greater rights than others, and this completely ruins the structure of rights.
"Hey, i have some rights... better than none, right?" Not exactly. As long as you have the ability, you do not need the rights. The ones that don't have the ability we should help, but not because of established rights or laws, we should help them because we want to, not because we have to. If we can't motivate people to want to help others, then our system is not a constructive one.
We have a right to live, what does that mean for example? Do we have a right to live? Does this mean that our life is more important than the lives of the ones that are not living at the given moment?
Rights are here to try to make things fair, to give a certain balance. To give us a feeling of security, or to make our lives better.
Some rights, such as the right to have weapons, can help us hurt other people, this is why rights do not have to be a positive thing.
I will only agree that human rights should be extended to the point at which they are fair for everyone. No one has an advantage or a disadvantage, and no one has more, what some like to call, power. Our inability to accept being equal is what make some of the rights pointless, as they are not and can't be properly conducted, not in a completely fair manner, at least. Why does life need to be fair? This is an out of topic, but related question, that i simply cannot answer at this point of my journey through life.

My most recent hub in relation to this topic has just being completed. It follows the controversial ideas of assisted suicide and includes real life stories. The argument stems from the fact that this treatment is illegal in the UK and US and thus doesn't allow people choice over their life, thus impacting on human rights.
