Hi, I hate to be so dense, but I just signed up for hubpage and don't really understand how to use it.  I've checked out the various buttons, etc. but I'm still clueless.  Should I submit articles, like I have done with goarticles and ezine, and if so, how do I do that?  If you have time, please check my hubpage (is that what you call it--I'm ancient!) and give me advice.  Does anyone have a short, easy to understand tutorial for me?  Thanks, Gail M. Davis

I've got How HubPages Works  and How To Hub.

You'll have even more questions once you've learned the basics, but they should get you pointed in the right direction.

    Gail,

The FAQ is the very first place to go, hands down.

I would suggest not reposting any articles you've previously submitted to other sites, as doing so will cause your articles to perform worse overall.

Thanks for the advice!  Believe it or not, I'm still looking for the FAQ that you suggested.  I printed out the 13 page manual and have read it twice but I'm still foggy on the whole links thing.  I recently started a webstie, www.easy-weightloss-tips.com, and I'm trying to generate traffic.  How can I use hubpages to help me do that?  I know others do.  I love to write about all things weight loss related so the writing of articles is appealing to me.  I don't understand the linking thing.  For example in goarticles and ezine, I can have a link in my bio back to my website and that helps traffic.  Also, I have the RSS feed on my website home page but for some reason, I'm having trouble getting the url accepted here.  Gosh, I don't even know enough to ask the right questions at this point...Gail

The short answer is yes you can - but check out my recent hub on the subject Hubpages for Internet Marketing
particularly be aware that unlike the ezine and similar sites you can't just write a teaser for your site - you have to write an complete useful hub and then link to your site either via your profile or once in the hub - you can add the RSS feed too
