   Are YOU sick of the incessant illegal immigration to this country which was initiated by
   
   the amnesty program under President Obama? Why? Why not? There is an influx of illegal immigration to America as a result of this amnesty program. These illlegal immigrants have no skills nor education.Because they have no job skills, they are going to use our social systems which are going to cost taxpayer monies. America has more than enough socioeconomic ills as it is. In addition to that, some of them pose health risks as they have diseases such as scabies , dengue fever,and chagas. Many of these illegals have proven to be quite problematic to areas such as Texas, Arizona, and California.

   George W. Bush cemented the relationship (of deporting illegals) in 2003 when he folded the Immigration and Naturalization Service into a mammoth new agency, the Department of Homeland Security.
   
   So, please get your facts straight before asking questions like this.
   
   This current "crisis" is nothing new. Immigration has been going on since this country was founded and you are probably descended from immigrants yourself.
   
   NO president in the history of this country has been able to effectively deal with illegal immigrants, so blaming Obama is just an attempt to discredit the current President, and does nothing to actually solve the problem.
   
   All of these "children" crossing the border will be deported. It will take time and effort to do so. So, unless and until we are attacked again by a foreign country, we should expect the Dept. of Homeland Security to continue to do its job. Maybe eventually they will get it right.

      Very true! Thus far Obama has not done anything but obeyed the laws that George W. Bush signed into law after a "bi-patrician" congress (unanimously voted for it). Nevertheless Obama is the blame for everything that's wrong in this country! LOL!

      O deports alright but then lets the crooks right back in which has been proven by  two men who recently killed a border guard in front of his whole family. Yes they are deported a number of times! Making O look like he is doing something. Only a fool

   Personally I welcome it. The sooner it dilutes the stupidity and ignorance of the Tea Party the better. Immigrants are nicer, work harder, and are better educated. In fact, I think we should add Spanish as an official language and encourage everyone to learn it.

      While I don't mind seeing immigrants come to this country, and you are right, they usually work harder to fit in, I think that we are basically full. Immigration didn't work out for Natives and it hasn't gotten much better for the rest of us.

      @gm - I have actually smuggled illegals across the TX border. I speak Spanish and have lived in Mexico. You are making a blanket statement that is a good 98% incorrect. Yes, SOME are dangerous, most of them are not. They just want jobs and freedom.

      GM, you should stop relying on hearsay. Go visit the real world yourself some time. I already have and have spent a lot of time around immigrants and they are no more dangerous than anyone else, and much less dangerous than xenophobes and racists.

      Latinos and Spanish are by far the largest group of immigrants and the most common second language spoken. The point would be to strongly embrace our neighbors rather than treating them as invaders. There's nothing extreme about it.

   Let's be clear. Nobody owns the earth. Somehow man got confused with this notion. Nobody owns the sun. Nobody owns the moon. Anybody born on this planet has the Divine right to live on it and so do all the animals here as well. All these territories are illusions born out of ignorance. But man will always be driven by conflict, greed and territories. Everybody wants to have a easy or better life than the other guy. In order to be rich, someone has to be lower or else there are no servants. A better idea would be to develop the wasted creative mind potential of the millions of people who have nothing. We would already have better solutions and more advanced technology. Whatever happens, it's better to enjoy your time while you are here. Because at the end of life, you will realize that everything that happened in your life, all the arguments, problems and issues that you had with others was irrelevant. They are illusions. Why not wake up now?

      @MG you are probably correct. The world is changing. Some think too rapidly and perhaps for the worse. But, many people fight change in any form. There is a long evolutionary road to follow here until the world accepts humanity in all its diversity.

   I can't speak for Californians or the desert-dwelling "sand people" of Arizona. But illegal immigrants are officially embraced by Texas. This comes from a former (very conservative) white and elderly Secretary State of Texas whom I recently heard speak. And this was a public statement he made. What he did not say is that immigrants help our economy because they work cheaply (helps businesses) and work multiple jobs and so have disposable income to spend elsewhere (helping other businesses). Again, he did not say this, but I get the feeling he was hinting at the cheap labor. His words were that immigrants help the economy, they help local businesses and they help keep our population sustained. Texas' free enterprise approach for businesses has led to a mass-immigration to Texas from other states since it's a friendly place in which to make money and do business. The immigrants tend to stay in their own homogenous communities for at least a generation. After that, they tend to move out and intermix. The majority of the people I know who are married are married to someone of Hispanic-immigrant origin.
   In other words, after a generation, they are assimilating. They're giving up soccer and pig guts for American football and hamburgers. Isn't that what xenophobes want? People worry about immigrants "mooching" off of our system, but Texas has no real system that takes care of the poor. So that is not an issue. Any illegal immigrant will tell you that if he were to be stabbed in an alley, he would more likely go to his aunt's house and have her stitch him up rather than go to the emergency room.
