google and hub

   a few weeks i was doing very well with google. I was making some money and now it has stop.
   I know that this sounds sad. ut i am kinda using google as a bank acount for Christmas. its there and i can't touch it. I made 30 in a few weeks and now nothing. can you you give me a few ideas. Sorry for asking. just a litle worried about money. we all go thru it.

   You need to publish more hubs.
   
   Update your existing hubs.
   
   And network: get people to come read your hubs.
   
   You only have a handful of hubs, but a lot of people on here have hundreds.

   200 visitors? Lets assume 5% CTR, that's like $3 a click.
   
   Shall we assume you are using Adsense elsewhere such as your own blog too?
   
   Because checking out your hubs there's nothing there that's striking me as being the sort of content that attracts adwords advertisers that are paying big bucks per click.

   Hi all,
   
   Keep in mind three very important things:
   
   1. When you first publish Hubs, most of your visits will be from HubPages users. They will almost always instinctively *avoid* clicking on ads, since doing so on your own Hubs can be considered click fraud and no one wants their AdSense account to be banned by Google. Also, browsers (like HubPages authors) tend to be more tangentially interested in the topic, as opposed to searchers (coming from Google & Yahoo, primarily) who are actively looking for as much information on the topic as possible.
   So, assuming you've written evergreen content and done some promotion of it, then search engine traffic will comprise the majority of long-term, ongoing traffic, and revenue will typically increase.
   
   2. Topics vary widely in their revenue-generating abilities. Please see the numbers in Paul's Hub here.
   
   3. CPM means "cost per thousand (impressions)". Marisa, using your numbers, that comes to a CPM of about $2.89, which, when you consider that the bulk of your early visitors are HubPages users and not search-engine searchers, is not too bad.
   
   There have been plenty of people who have stated in their Hubs and in the Forums that they earned very little the first few months, and then their earnings increased. The key to that is getting significant search engine traffic.

   Actually, I was quite happy with my earnings until I saw this thread.  I know it doesn't sound much, but I'm already earning more here than I did in my early days at Helium - and I'm having much more fun, too. 
   
   So I shall now go back to being happy

    I have a webpage. and i get a few visits from there too. my art on my hub has got a lot of attention more than others. I start google when i started my hub and that was about 2 months ago I think. i do know that i have a google search on my site and that there is used alot.
