Go ahead and follow the ghost to the area with the classroom, and Harry will learn a new spell.

There are lots of studs to get here, but you are here to do five successful spells on bogarts. There are two chests here that you can zap, and then zap what comes out of them. To the left of those chests is one being held by a pixie. Zap him, and the chest will come down. Zap the bogart there. Go over to the right and zap open a cabinet. You can levitate the parts that come out of it to form a film projector. It will show a film of a wizard, and you can zap that to get the fourth chest. The fifth chest in the back to the right, and Luminos on the devil’s snare will get it.

For learning Expecto Patronum, you get a Gold Brick.

You’ll then need to leave the area, and head for Hagrid’s Hut.

Chapter 4: The Shrieking Shack

This level will start you out with the Whomping Willow, and don’t worry about the plants that you can shoot to get some studs. It is better to wait to get them rather than get killed trying.

You can’t really take out the Whomping Willow, but you will need to hit it three times. The trick is let its center branch slam down, and it will stay there for a while. You can actually jump into it. The trick is to let it slam down without losing a heart. When you are in the branch, it will lift you up. You can target one of three antenna like things here. Go ahead and shoot one. You will then be dropped to the ground, and one root will move.

Repeat until all roots are moved out of the way and you can go safely underneath the tunnel of the tree.

You will then be underground. You will find that you can hit some roots as well as some plant that is marked 1/5. You’ll need Lumos to get past the devil’s snare, which will unroll to form a convenient bridge.

After the bridge, jump down into an area underneath some roots. Take out the roots, and Plant 2/5.

After taking out the long brown root twice, a green seed will come rolling down. Shoot the red flower, and it will water that seed. Leaves will then start to grow, forming a convenient staircase up.

Follow the leaves, and you will find Plant 3/5. You will also find an area with Devil’s snare and webs. Go ahead and take the first one, and then go to the left. Levitate this one thing here, and one of the roots that has to be removed will clear out of the way.

You will then have to go right, and drop down until you area way underground. Take out Plant 4/5, and then move with the levitation the object here that is in your way. This will remove another pesky vine.

Get back on the web, and then let it take you up so you can go to the right. This is kind of tricky as you have to shoot two pink balls of seed, and then levitate the seeds so they fall on the tiny geysers. Some have complained that it is difficult, but if you just drop the seed on there when the geyser peaks, then it will plant and you will have what you need.

On the right will be thing that will geyser you up high. You will have to go to the left, and move whatever is on the vine, freeing the exit from this area. Then you will have to go right, taking out Plant 5/5. This will give you the Yellow Crest Portion.

Go ahead and head out to the right. You will then be in the shrieking shack. You should definitely go to the area to the left where Ron is reeling. You will find a purple stud here.

The object of this area is to build a better mousetrap. Watch where Scabbers the runs to, and hit the piece of furniture that he hides behind. After several hits, parts on the floor can be reassembled to make a mousetrap, which will lure Scabbers (aka Peter Petigrew) out of hiding.

There really isn’t much you can do here now except get a lot of studs. You’ll note that Hermione’s cat Crookshanks can dig up something, but you won’t be able to do much with it.

Use Lumos on the devil’s snare below, and then keep going. You will reach an area where Crookshanks needs to dig once more. This will raise up a cauldron, and you will need the usual ingredients of a skeletal arm, thorn, and a tooth.

You will see a web in the corner, and shooting it will bring out a skeleton that will drop its arm after dancing.

You will notice three boulder shaped things here. Shoot them all, and you will have three green seeds. Feel free to use levitation on them, and they will sink to the Earth and grow. The third one will have the thorn that you need.

The Dinosaur skeleton that you see in the dirt wall there can be shot up very easily. You will find the tooth if you hit its skull.

Go on and use the potion of strength, and pull on the chain. This will cause two platforms to rise, and Hermione can jump to the top of them, and release Crookshanks to start digging. This will cause some of those things to come out and form a ladder.

Go up the ladder, and take out some big spiders. I don’t know why they are there either. You will then want to zap a certain student in the corner, as he is the Student in Peril.

Use levitation on the red mushroom and bounce to the next area. This will end the level.

You should probably go ahead and go to Part 18.
