Lego Harry Potter Years 1-4 Walkthrough Part 32: Index

For some reason, you start off in Gryffindor hall. Nothing to do but leave. Go on and follow the studs. You will then go to one of the classrooms.

You will find yourself in a room where you will learn a very useful spell, but you can get some bonuses here. For example, if you levitate all four torches here, you will have Character: Ron (Pyjamas).

There are several metal objects in the room that will give points. There is a brick wall for 1/7. Levitate a bird cage for a metal owl for 2/7. Shoot a pixie and get what it is holding for 3/7. Use Lumos on Devil’s Snare and shoot its thing for 4/7. Hit another pixie by the cabinet for 5/7. Open the locked cabinet with Hermione for 6/7. Then hit the metal pile of books in the center of the room for 7/7. This will open up a new Gold Brick.

There are also three spider webs in this room. Web 1/3 is at the top of the stairs. Web 2/3 is above a skeleton of a horse. Web 3/3 is way up on the top in the left corner of the room. Get all three and get Character: Parvati (Ballgown).

Go on and take care of the five metal objects that are weighing students down. Once Reducto is unlocked, you will have a Gold Brick.

As you leave here, you can get something that you couldn’t get before. Just use the levitation spell to take parts of the letters to make an H. Zap the H, and you will be able to zap with Reducto a metal box. Levitate some pipe into place, and have CrookShanks run through it. You will have a Gold Brick.

There are a lot of things at Hogwarts that can be uncovered with Reducto, and I’ll discuss them later. Right now, let’s go on to follow the studs outside.

Chapter 3: The First Task

Okay, time to face a Dragon! You might note how many studs that you can get here, and you can also go to this one area just to the right, use a barrel to extinguish some flames and get Character: Cedric (Dragon Task).

As you go past the dragon, it is super-easy to get hit here. Watch out for the flames in the way. They are worse than landmines. You will notice three tall stones that will be knocked down by the Hungarian Horntail dragon.

You will also notice a wall in the way. The way to get past it is to shoot some debris near there. There is about four pieces in all to shoot, and they need to be levitated. They will form a dog, and the dragon will swipe his tail at the dog, but only hit the wall.

In this next area, you will need to get a cauldron for some giant strength. It starts when you levitate some big chunk of rock onto a place where it becomes a makeshift elevator. You can the levitate to form the cauldron. You will then need a skeletal arm, thorn, and tooth.

The skeleton is right there. Just levitate it to make a dancing one, and steal the arm. As for the tooth, it is right near a dragon skeleton. The thorn is in the grasp of some devil’s snare, so just use a little Lumos to get to it.

Once the ingredients are in, drink the potion, and use the purple rock to get up there. You have to jump on the rock when it is on the ground. You will then have to pull on the chain, and the dragon will leave.

When the area is clear, levitate a rock with some purple in it onto a purple square block. From there, it is about jumping from rock top to rock top. Stay clear of the dragon’s breath. Wait until he breathes on the one furthest way from you, and then jump to it as the fires on it go out. Go ahead and levitate a barrel at the end so the fires will be clear, and you can get to this area.

The last part is about getting some bricks to go in the right place. A pixie is holding up the red brick, and you need to zap it and levitate it so it goes all the way to the left where those three purple squares are. Hermione need to get CrookShanks so he can dig up the blue brick. The green rock needs to be totally destroyed, and then all the pieces put together to create the brick to be put into place.

With these all together, it will automatically bring about the Red Crest Portion. Jump up and get it, and you will go on to the next level.

This area is all about just staying in motion while the dragon comes after you. You can get some rewards here. For example, as soon as you run inside, go to the right and get Character: Fleur (Dragon Task).

Okay, as the Dragon is running after you, you will pass by an archway. On the left side will be the Blue Crest Portion.

As you go through one hall, you will see a cabinet that is chained up. Go ahead and shoot it, and you will free the Student in Peril.

Just keep going, and you will make it out. You can then move on to Part 23.
