Transition to Level 4

Leave the Quidditch Perimeter and go to the Outside. You will need to use Lumos Solem to get back in, for some odd reason.

When you get to the Bridge, you don’t have to take the broomstick. You can fix it with levitation, and when you step through the door, you will skip some areas.

You will be in the Dormitory hall. You might as well get this out of the way. There are five banners here. Go ahead and shoot the two (colored red and gold) in front of Gryffindor for 1/5 and 2/5. Then walk back to the left to Slytherin and get 3/5 on the green and gray one. Walk to the right to get Hufflepuff (yellow and black) 4/5 and Ravenclaw (blue and gray) 5/5. You will then be awarded a Gold Brick.

Enter into Gryffindor’s hall.

Chapter 4: The Restricted Section

In here, you get the Invisibility Cloak. You will notice that there is a red book that will try and chomp you if you go to a certain area. However, you can use the Invisibility Cloak to sneak up on the book, and then take it out. There are two of these books here, and the other is in the right corner.

You will notice that a ghost gets freed here after this second book, and a garden shows up. Go ahead and destroy the flowers in the garden, and levitate what is remaining. This will reveal a cauldron, and you will need the three ingredients.

I’ll start with the one that is closest to you. Jump on the statue of the guy holding a book. Let the other character levitate you up, and then jump to the level above you.

On this level, you should probably smash up all the flowers there, and then use levitation on the plants on the end. This will cause some big leaves to flourish, and you can jump on them to get there without the help of your friend.

Go on and grab that thing of flowers, and go put it in the pot.

You will then need to head back up there, and destroy the shelves that are there, assuming that you haven’t done that already. You will find yourself a spiderweb with a red spider, and you will need to bring that red spider to the pot.

Go ahead and get to the statue that is on the left side of the room, and hit a desk to the right of it. You are going to want to levitate some things that make a book in the figure’s hand, which he uses to topple over a stack. You can then get on a book that the other character can levitate, then bounce on a book stack to an upper level.

While you are up there, shoot the painting, and watch the flying creature come out, and you can get some studs. What you really want to do is levitate the flame thing, and have it melt the ice so you can get the popsicle. By the way, make sure to go back deep in the closet thing you just made, as there is a purple stud in there.

Put that popsicle in the pot, and the door is blown up.

Don’t leave yet. There are a lot of things that you can’t get now, but you can shoot some vases. There is 1/6 at the beginning, where you started. The next, 2/6 is located all the way to the right of the first one. Vases 3/6 and 4/6 are to the left and right of the door. The other two are in the next room, so you didn’t miss them.

In this next area, you need to keep your eyes out for Filch. You can wear the Invisibility Cloak to keep Harry from getting captured by him. If you do get captured, switch to the other character and have him shoot Mrs. Norris, the cat that follows Filch.

You will see an area with shelves, blocked with a pile of books. Shoot the books, and they will clear. If you want, you can move that ladder with levitation, and get the blue stud at the end. What you need to do is get the green pipe in an L shape and put it in the area marked for it, on the shelves to the right.

You might get nabbed by Filch on the way as you can’t be invisible and hold things, apparently. You can get rid of him.

There is a blue pipe and a red pipe that have to be levitated and moved to where they belong. Just follow the marked area. You will then be able to grab a small wheel thing, which can be taken to the door. Go ahead and use it there.

Before you go to the next area, you might want to hit Vases 5/6 and 6/6 on the stairway there. You will get the Yellow Crest Portion.

In the next area, there area some ladders on the shelves if you want to use them. Then again, you might not. At least you are free from Filch.

What you have to do is hit the pile of books, and then have Ron release Scabbers to crawl up the pipe. He will have to knock over part of a door handle, and then you can levitate it to open it to the next room.

Now that you are in the last part, you are in front of the Mirror of Erised. If you want, you can hit the three spider webs (1/3, 2/3, and 3/3) to get a Green Crest Portion.

You will need to go to the one area with the vines and use Lumos.

Go on and go to Part 6.
