Our lives are not determined by what happens to us, but how we react to what happens; not by what life brings to us, but the attitude that we bring to life.  A positive attitude causes a chain reaction of positive thoughts, events, and outcomes.  It is a catalyst...a spark that creates extraordinary results.

"The greatest freedom comes within strong boundaries"--when we are children, we test to see where the boundaries are in order to feel secure (although we push them to the limits many times!). As adults we learn what is right for us and who we are, then if we choose to live true to who we are, we will set up boundaries so people can't take advantage of us or sway us from our path. Boundaries help us to decide when to say yes or when to say no. It gives us the freedom to be all who we were meant to be.

I love this - my husband and I have an agreement that if we happening to be in a disagreement in a forum that doesn't allow for it to continue, we table it for later discussion, and simply end the conversation with an "I love you and I'll see you soon."  In the event that we never see each other again, at least our last words weren't words of discord.
