"When the voice and the vision on the inside become more profound and clear and loud than the opinions on the outside, you've mastered your life" - Dr. John DeMartini
"Those who dream by night in the dusty recesses of their minds, wake in the day to find that all was vanity. But the dreamers of the day are dangerous men for they may act their dream with open eyes and make it possible." - T.E. Lawrence
Luke Skywalker: "I don't believe it." Yoda: "That is why you will fail."
"Much of the world's beauty forms in response to a wound." - Unknown
"Life is not that hard you know, Just learn what you love, then Go do it well, and along the way-stop! - and teach somewone else to do it better than you, then get the hell out of the way!" - Jimmy Buffett
Our lives are not determined by what happens to us, but how we react to what happens; not by what life brings to us, but the attitude that we bring to life. A positive attitude causes a chain reaction of positive thoughts, events, and outcomes. It is a catalyst...a spark that creates extraordinary results.
"The greatest freedom comes within strong boundaries"--when we are children, we test to see where the boundaries are in order to feel secure (although we push them to the limits many times!). As adults we learn what is right for us and who we are, then if we choose to live true to who we are, we will set up boundaries so people can't take advantage of us or sway us from our path. Boundaries help us to decide when to say yes or when to say no. It gives us the freedom to be all who we were meant to be.
I love this - my husband and I have an agreement that if we happening to be in a disagreement in a forum that doesn't allow for it to continue, we table it for later discussion, and simply end the conversation with an "I love you and I'll see you soon." In the event that we never see each other again, at least our last words weren't words of discord.
Aw Chica! I'm so sorry. High school is tough! VERY TOUGH! I was an outcast too, except for the company of my musician friends (Not the band geeks, but the rockers) lol I wouldn't say I managed to go unnoticed, but I wasn't as popular as other girls because I just didn't care about trying to fit in. I guess I haven't changed much. I still don't care.
I like these:From what we get we can make a living; what we give however makes a life. Arthur AsheA good book is the best of friends the same today and forever. Martin TupperWhether you think you can or think you can't, you are right. Henry FordI would rather have 15 minutes of wonderful, than a...
Did HubPages do away with the share button to my followers or did I over use it?I was sharing the hubs I read with my followers earlier today, but now I can see the button anymore. I was wondering if I over used mine or is this the same for everyone else?
Dear staff, is there anything that can be done to the feed where I can choose not to receive notice of hubs shared by other hubbers? There are people who share every hub they read. If I want to read a hub or follow someone I will. I don't need to see all those hubs of people I don't even know in my...
In our hubfeeds, there's a 'share' button under the hub for sharing hubs with our followers. Are you okay with using this button to share your own hubs with your followers or are you too modest? Is it appropriate to do or is it seen as similar to sharing your hub links which is frowned upon?
