Wonderfully composed article and poem, Chitrangada. I loved the popular concept of "Happiness being a Choice" in your article and extracting that happiness from nature. Lovely indeed! Thank you for sharing.
Thank you, Ravi, for highlighting her post.
Hello Rosina!
Thank you for reading and appreciating my response to the word prompt.
Yes, Happiness is a choice and I have experienced this. There are times in life, when nothing seems to be right. But, by remaining positive and happy, things do change for the better.
Appreciate your comments and support. Have a wonderful weekend. Thank you so much.
Chitrangada has a created a lovely and very encouraging poem. I find happiness in nature, too. Her advice is excellent and applies to almost everyone. Some people in continuous physical or mental pain or discomfort may need help from others in order to be happy, but for most of us happiness can be a conscious choice, as Chitrangada reminds us.
Hello Linda!
Thank you for reading and appreciating my response to the word prompt, Happy.
I am glad that you agree with the thoughts expressed in the article/ poem.
You are right that people with medical conditions need help, in order to be happy. Besides medication, they are also advised to spend some time in Nature. This definitely helps them heal psychologically.
Thank you for sharing your thoughts on this subject. Much appreciated.
Have a wonderful day.
Chitrangada...
I haven't read this one yet...but i will.
Lovely poems, Chitrangada. I agree with you, it is a conscious choice to be happy or not. Nature make me happy too.. It is therapeutic and healing. An excellent response to Brenda's word prompt. Thanks for sharing Ravi.

Chitrangada...
In your article you tell us "we can choose to be Happy or sad.
Yes—To be or not to be ‘Happy’ is a choice, and it has to be developed consciously by our own self."
I love this part,
"we must remember that being happy or sad are two sides of the same coin."
In your poem, "Nature Makes Me ‘Happy’—Poem"
You describe those precious gifts in nature created by the Almighty.
Being surrounded by them makes you happy.
I can relate. I love to see & feel nature. It makes me feel so at ease.
Your acrostic poem speaks the truth. We can choose to be happy & find pleasure in helping others.
I absolutely love your link to this piece of work.
"A Brief Meeting With Happiness."
This poem is sooo goood....
It shows how we are so excited with anticipation greeting a happy moment & then how it drifts away.
Then you inckude a link to an article about "Spreading Happiness".
There's no better time than now than to spread a bit of happiness.
My favorite quote
"Being happy doesn’t mean everything is perfect. It means that you have decided to look beyond imperfections.”
