Kudos to Frog Prince from whom I stole this but I want to forum this...it's important.

Presidential Adviser Valerie Jarrett who scares hell out of me:
“After we win this election, it’s our turn. Payback time.
Everyone not with us is against us and they better be ready because we don’t forget. The ones who helped us will be rewarded, the ones who opposed us will get what they deserve.”

    And:
“There is going to be hell to pay. Congress won’t be a problem for us this time. No election to worry about after this is over and we have two judges ready to go.”

It's all good.  Let me add a useful link where you found what Valerie said:

      <link snipped>

This is the lowest I have ever seen a President and his advisers stoop in any election and I've watched more than a few over the decades.  He's pathetic and she is his brain.

I was hoping for a link to what Jarrett said; as you should know, posting a link to your own hub is not allowed

It is allowed and you don't have any idea what you're talking about.  Read what barefootae wrote then remove your foot from your mouth.

It would be helpful if you'd document the alleged quote from Jarrett. In any event it reminds me of what Mitch McConnell said three years ago and what the GOP Tea Baggers in the House have been doing since then. You sound like a whiny little froggie.

Hi there, I tried googling what you said, but couldn't get anything that wasn't just a reference back to the article you posted below.  Unfortunately, the articles assertion that they received a personal email from an anonymous WSI staff member who heard it from an anonymous source in Chicago who heard it from an anonymous dem party member who overheard it at work..... reads too much like bad gossip for it to be considered a "source."   (And the "email" reads too much like fiction- with an intro explaining the context, pert conclusion, and more lingo than a real journalist would ever use)

I'll wait for WSI/WSJ to publish the story.... if anyone on their staff actually heard such a thing it should come out in the next day or so right?

Did you even bother googling the title before posting that?  I can't tell if you're actually a lib here to make reps look dumb by pretending to be one, or if you're seriously using this argument.

In the book, Zakaria argues that, thanks to the actions of the United States in spreading liberal democracy across the world, other countries are now competing with the US in terms of economic, industrial, and cultural power. While the US continues to dominate in terms of political-military power, other countries such as China and India are becoming global players in many fields.

Yes, that's right, it's about how US influence and the glorious spread of democracy has lifted up countries all over the world.

Try reading a little more than the Wiki article. It's about globalization, the rise of China, Russia, and India, and a flurry of far left ideologies as the great story of our time. It criticizes the American military and uses the September 11th attacks to characterize Americans as arrogant.

I have never read buzzfeed before, did not realize it to be a liberal source, I was under the impression they call out anyone, but your source, as well as FOX, Bierbrat, and everything else on the page were opinion blogs...When I FORM my OWN opinion about something, I use real sources...The CBO, The US Treasury Dept, The BLS, etc. You do know that NY Times, Washington Post, etc are all as slanted as FOX or MSNBC, CNN and USA are usually pretty center depending on the reporter...It is difficult these days to find credible sources...the media began consolidating in the early 2000's and now are owned by roughly 6 corporations. The media is nothing more than a propaganda machine today, telling us what to think, in hopes we have become fat and lazy enough to drink it up. Thankfully, many of us do our own research and dig for the truth...I will keep trying to find a credible source for you, but I am pretty sure, none exists as the story is a load of bull.smile

That is why, unless someone got it on a cell phone vid, you will never see a report even if this is 100% true on any news source that any Democrat will accept. Because they don't report anything "bad" about the Dems at Presidential election time.

Most all of you condemning this as heresay, were here on this very site in a different forum all over Harry Reid's comments regarding Romney not paying any taxes for 10 years and the Obama camp alleging he's a felon. You bought that hook, line and sinker when the source was what? Oh that's right....anonymous.
Quite hypocritical of the lot of you.
Not saying this is true, and I won't until there is some reliable source, but this is absolutely no different with one exception: Reid stood up and used the Senate floor to slander Mitt Romney, and you all cheered and called it fact.

Something to ponder...this actually is a felony or an outright lie by the author of this article:

"Bloomberg News obtained the trust’s tax returns from 2007 to 2011 from the Internal Revenue Service. Romney hasn’t disclosed the trust’s tax returns and is under no legal obligation to do so. He did make some disclosures about the trust’s investments in Massachusetts filings from 2002 to 2007 and as a presidential candidate in the current campaign."

Do you really believe the IRS handed over tax returns they have no legal right to see? Uh huh.

Oh but thanks for proving my point about the acceptance of non-substantiated reports as fact when you like them, and fraud if you don't by many here.
