Kudos to Frog Prince from whom I stole this but I want to forum this...it's important.
Presidential Adviser Valerie Jarrett who scares hell out of me:
“After we win this election, it’s our turn. Payback time. Everyone not with us is against us and they better be ready because we don’t forget. The ones who helped us will be rewarded, the ones who opposed us will get what they deserve.”
“There is going to be hell to pay. Congress won’t be a problem for us this time. No election to worry about after this is over and we have two judges ready to go.”
It's all good. Let me add a useful link where you found what Valerie said:
This is the lowest I have ever seen a President and his advisers stoop in any election and I've watched more than a few over the decades. He's pathetic and she is his brain.
I was hoping for a link to what Jarrett said; as you should know, posting a link to your own hub is not allowed
It is allowed and you don't have any idea what you're talking about. Read what barefootae wrote then remove your foot from your mouth.
Someone must be cranky from the polls today.
Not me because the real poll comes Tuesday when we kick Obama to the curb where he belongs.
and gets crankier by the minute.
Is that the best you got. Kick to the curb. Very intelligent and oh so wise.
I asked you a damned question and you come back with BS? Do you support what Vaklerie Jarrett siad? Spit it out!
If you want an answer you will need to give a proper source and not one to a hub of yours.
I don't have to supply you a damned thing. Do you kmnows how to use Google. I don't do a LWJ's research for them.
Why are you acting like this towards her?
The burden of proof is on the person making the claim. If you are making a positive assertion, you need to supply the link.
No the burden of proof is commons ense. Look sooner I used to have a dog named sooner. He'd sooner talk crap than anything else. If the woman can't do research that is her problem not mine. Now run along outside and dump out there. We're busy here son .
It is his obvious feeble attempt to get others to read his hub. His actions speak volumes of all the reasons I would never bother to read anything he writes.
I don't do Left Wing Nut Job research koolaider.. Goggle "Valuerie Jarrett Pay Back Time" and start reading. You teo know hoe to read? Then come back and best your damned gums. You droll over Obama and Jarrett. I disdain them and all progressives in this nation.
The burden of proof? Is there a trial occurring.
Here's what you do Koolaid Kid. Goggle "Valuerie Jarrett Pay Back Time" and start reading. You can read can't ya? Then come back and best your damned gums. You droll over Obama and Jarrett. I disdain them and all progressives in this nation.
So you advocate what Jarrett said? Is that your position? Do tell us?
It would be helpful if you'd document the alleged quote from Jarrett. In any event it reminds me of what Mitch McConnell said three years ago and what the GOP Tea Baggers in the House have been doing since then. You sound like a whiny little froggie.
Do your research Ralph rather than run your chops. That would be helpful.
Says the poster who only links to his own opinion piece, yes I said opinion. An authoritative source might stimulate discussion. Having said that, I find rants from hysterics somewhat entertaining.
LOL me too Hollie. Makes for a good laugh. But at the same time I kind of feel bad for one that needs to succumb to such ways.
Sure. You can never ever as a LWNJ refute the fatcs so you attack the source. What a pack of hypos. I'm used to it. I told told you exactly how to find the info and you come back calling it lies. so I suupose the videos where Obama is caught on tape are lies too? What a nutcase if you come back with that crap. LMBO
Lets get one thing straight, I do not need you to tell me how to find information. But if you want to open up an intelligent conversation on a topic it is wise to supply a link.
Continue on your path and you will be looked upon as the buffoon you have shown yourself to be in this thread.
Sure. You can never ever as a LWNJ refute the fatcs so you attack the source.
Erm, hello, what source?
Wavegirl, we are bad, seeking this kind of entertainment on a Saturday evening. You are of course right, though, we should be tolerant toward those who have yet to see the error of their ways.
Oh no. Not you, too, Hollie!
You find it amusing?
Do you mean you "droll" over it?
I counted no fewer than 3 separate posts with the same typo in them.
Very droll, indeed.
I've been laffing all over the place, MM.
Here's what you do Progressive Ralph the Koolaid Kid. Goggle "Valuerie Jarrett Pay Back Time" and start reading. You can read can't ya Ralphie? Then come back and best your damned gums. You droll over Obama and Jarrett. I disdain them and all progressives in this nation.
Hi there, I tried googling what you said, but couldn't get anything that wasn't just a reference back to the article you posted below. Unfortunately, the articles assertion that they received a personal email from an anonymous WSI staff member who heard it from an anonymous source in Chicago who heard it from an anonymous dem party member who overheard it at work..... reads too much like bad gossip for it to be considered a "source." (And the "email" reads too much like fiction- with an intro explaining the context, pert conclusion, and more lingo than a real journalist would ever use)
I'll wait for WSI/WSJ to publish the story.... if anyone on their staff actually heard such a thing it should come out in the next day or so right?
The only thing that Goggle shows is the hub posted and NOTHING of what Valerie Jarrett actually said. A hub is an opinion and NOT an undeniable source.
IF you what credibility, SHOW us the link and take us to the source
No, it is not ok to post a link to your own hubs on the forums.
Even less ok to snark at others who rightly call you out on it.
So the Dems will grow some balls after the election. Excellent. If I was an independent this would make me vote Democrat!
Perhaps you are rooting for the last paragraph I pasted but what do you think of that first comment?
Help us do the best for the country and all share the benefit, or continue offering nothing and get nothing in return. Sounds fair to me. Yep would definitely make me vote Democrat.
What's the original source of this comment, if you don't mind me asking?
Valerie Jarrett was the original source. Yeah you're a Demwitocrat.
"I'd be a crap President, but I have distinguished hair." Original Source - Mitt Romney.
See how that works? Easy to make stuff up isn't it, but alas saying someone said something doesn't make it so. Now either give a proper source, or go sit in a corner and write "I must not tell lies" once for every dollar Mitt has in a Swiss bank account.
Nothing made up here but you being a Demwitocrat have the knack of deflection. Move one con before you get your feelings hurt. You just can't take the truth can ya son? Your Meesiah ios a failure so accept that. If youy care to vote for failure we'll get get the best revenge in the end.
"When I'm elected President, I'll reinstate slavery" Source - Mitt Romney.
Original source? Mitt Romney. It says so right there. Duh!
Goggle "Valerie Jarrett Pay Back Time" and start reading.
I did. The quote was pure hearsay. Probably by somebody who's not fond of Valerie Jarrett. She may well have said it. She's reportedly tougher than Rahm Emanuel.
Mitt Romney said: "When I'm President, I'll bomb Beijing" Source - My Brother's, Friend's, Dentist's Blog.
That shows me that your IQ is 88. I already knew that.
barefootae - He is part of the koolaid crowd.
I'm just wondering what's swimming around in the president's head should he win over the next four years.
Did you even bother googling the title before posting that? I can't tell if you're actually a lib here to make reps look dumb by pretending to be one, or if you're seriously using this argument.
In the book, Zakaria argues that, thanks to the actions of the United States in spreading liberal democracy across the world, other countries are now competing with the US in terms of economic, industrial, and cultural power. While the US continues to dominate in terms of political-military power, other countries such as China and India are becoming global players in many fields.
Yes, that's right, it's about how US influence and the glorious spread of democracy has lifted up countries all over the world.
Try reading a little more than the Wiki article. It's about globalization, the rise of China, Russia, and India, and a flurry of far left ideologies as the great story of our time. It criticizes the American military and uses the September 11th attacks to characterize Americans as arrogant.
And it's an interesting book that a president should definitely read so as to prevent that possible outcome and better understand current trends.
That picture is from 2008 - Go figure - He used it as a study guide - It shows http://artsbeat.blogs.nytimes.com/2008/ … s-reading/
Since joining in here on hubpages forums. I no longer wonder why the democratic party choose the Jackass as it's mascot. It's perfectly evident. A jackass does made a lot of noise when it don't get it's way. And you can't get it to work unless you bride it with a carrot
Jackasses are like parrots. Expect the hear the same talking points, denials and lies over and over again.
My god. My world is shattered. Here I thought both political sides were full of even and intelligent discourse. How will I ever go on knowing that only one side is so terrible. Perhaps I best take off my sarcasm shoes, and put on some sort of denim-type material so I can feel in touch.
I know we all like to feel a part of something, but shouldn't we at some point get tired of playing "Red Vs. Blue"? I want a new game. I propose we all just play tag instead.
http://www.buzzfeed.com/mhastings/valer … the-haters
Could not find any credible sources about the forum post, but this seems to answer to it quiet well.
I posted the link to the apparently original article about the statement.
Sorry the source is not as liberal as yours.
I have never read buzzfeed before, did not realize it to be a liberal source, I was under the impression they call out anyone, but your source, as well as FOX, Bierbrat, and everything else on the page were opinion blogs...When I FORM my OWN opinion about something, I use real sources...The CBO, The US Treasury Dept, The BLS, etc. You do know that NY Times, Washington Post, etc are all as slanted as FOX or MSNBC, CNN and USA are usually pretty center depending on the reporter...It is difficult these days to find credible sources...the media began consolidating in the early 2000's and now are owned by roughly 6 corporations. The media is nothing more than a propaganda machine today, telling us what to think, in hopes we have become fat and lazy enough to drink it up. Thankfully, many of us do our own research and dig for the truth...I will keep trying to find a credible source for you, but I am pretty sure, none exists as the story is a load of bull.
Knowing Valerie Jarrett's Maoist tendencies....which are well known.....I really am not surprised she said that.
You're right Tammy and that is the problem. There are no real news sources anymore. CNN isn't any better either. That is why, unless someone got it on a cell phone vid, you will never see a report even if this is 100% true on any news source that any Democrat will accept. Because they don't report anything "bad" about the Dems at Presidential election time.
Sassy, They do not report anything true, it is all spin and opinion...It is up to us as citizens to dig, and really we should, we should not need to be spoon fed...I believe super pacs, lobbyist, and the straight up lie commercials should all be illegal....We should start a petition right here on hubpages...Money needs to leave, So Law may reside unbiased.
I miss newspapers and real reporters who would never turn down a big story just because of a political lean.
So you got it from a blog, which got it from "Wall Street Insider"(?!) who got it from [anonymous].
Well I heard Mitt Romney wants to ban women. Source? A blog, which got it from "Geoff" who got it from [a person with a name].
So tell me, as a Republican, what do you think of Mitt wanting to ban women?
I like how it's not legit unless it was from Huffington Post or NBC, ABC, CBS.
I personally believe she said it and I personally believe that's how she thinks.
You are entitled to your opinion, but this country is in real danger when people start reporting opinion as fact, right?
I've given you the source of my Mitt quote. Is that legit? If not, why not? Is it because it's not from Fox?
Basically, Don, I didn't pay any attention to your Mitt quote because it had nothing to do with the thread.
I agree. Silly unsubstantiated, irrelevant quotes deserve to be ignored. Apply the same reasoning to the OP, and viola! You finally get the point. As you ponder that, here's another Mitt quote:
"When I'm President, all Democrats will be made to live in a size 9 shoe on Cony Island" Source - Mitt Romney
Not sure who leaked that, but I think it should play an important part in the decision making process when people choose who to vote for.
This is on a blog too, so it must be true.
(blog created in around 5 minutes)
Your dedication to being your own source tickles my funny-bone.
Here is the rub though. Most all of you condemning this as heresay, were here on this very site in a different forum all over Harry Reid's comments regarding Romney not paying any taxes for 10 years and the Obama camp alleging he's a felon. You bought that hook, line and sinker when the source was what? Oh that's right....anonymous.
Quite hypocritical of the lot of you.
Not saying this is true, and I won't until there is some reliable source, but this is absolutely no different with one exception: Reid stood up and used the Senate floor to slander Mitt Romney, and you all cheered and called it fact.
http://www.bloomberg.com/news/2012-10-2 … tions.html
Something to ponder....
Something to ponder...this actually is a felony or an outright lie by the author of this article:
"Bloomberg News obtained the trust’s tax returns from 2007 to 2011 from the Internal Revenue Service. Romney hasn’t disclosed the trust’s tax returns and is under no legal obligation to do so. He did make some disclosures about the trust’s investments in Massachusetts filings from 2002 to 2007 and as a presidential candidate in the current campaign."
Do you really believe the IRS handed over tax returns they have no legal right to see? Uh huh.
Oh but thanks for proving my point about the acceptance of non-substantiated reports as fact when you like them, and fraud if you don't by many here.
