God created everything. Did He create Satan too?

If He did, why? If He didn't  then who created Satan?

I think you had answered your self , you had said it, God created everything even satan and the existence of satan was essential to create balance  between good and evil on earth,

    Without too much religous education...

Was Satan not one of God's highest ranking angels, eventually cast out by God?

Therefore, not so much created by God, as sharing his presence, but perhaps, grew more into the Satan we recognise today through his fight against God, his evil developed over many a century.

?? That is one tough question ??

Lucifer (Satan) was one of the first of Gods Angels. The problem occurs when Lucifer wanted to be as powerful and as almighty as God. Wanting to go above and beyond his status and rule absolutely everything. This sin wins him a ticket straight to you know where.

"Story of Lucifer – His Status
What kind of iniquity was found of him? In the book of Ezekiel, God has let us stand with Him at the very beginning, to see the origin and the creation of Satan. But, why does God say this? What is this iniquity? We must look back to Isaiah 14:12, which tells us of Lucifer/Satan's choice. "I will ascend to heaven; I will raise my throne above the stars of God; I will sit on the mount of assembly on the heights of Zaphon; I will ascend to the tops of the clouds, I will make myself like the Most High." Did you notice in this passage all of the "I wills. " He said he would exalt his throne above the stars of God. The word "stars" here does not refer to what we see in the night sky. It refers to the angels of God. In other words, "I will take over heaven, I will be God." That is Lucifer/Satan's sin and that is the iniquity that was found in him. He does not want to be God's servant. He does not want to do what he was created to do. He wants to be served and there are millions who have chosen to do just that; serve him. They have listened to his lies and chosen to follow him. Eve believed the lie that she would be like God. The reason Lucifer/Satan tempted her with that was because it is the very thing that he wants -- to be God. "

According to the Bible and the Koran: yes he did, Satan used to be an Angel and rebelled against him. He decided to mislead the entire inhabited earth.

God created the angel Lucifer but Lucifer rebelled and took on the identity of Satan.  God is the creator of all good things.  So how is evil possible?  God did not create evil--He did not create Satan...He crated good and He created Lucifer.  Evil is the absence of good--the perversion of Truth--it is rebellion against God and therefore without God/apart from God/void of God.  What God could have prevented in His power, He allowed in His wisdom.  Why?  His ways are above our ways so if we could totally understand God, He wouldn't be very much like God!  God created free will and choice.  So that means there has to be the option for one to not choose God and His ways--thus evil comes into being  God must have known this would be and yet He still created what He created.  Why?  He must know that good will come from this.  That is a very simplified, short answer for a very big question!

Absolutely, Satan was one of God's angels.  He is the "fallen angel."

    God did not 'create' satan....................

He did create, a trusted being, who would later become, the satan.

A mother does not give birth to a teacher, a doctor, a scholar, a pedophile, a rapist, a murderer.................she gives birth to a babe, one, who will become...............

This is what God did, He gave life to one who would become an adversary.

As we remember, the story of a beautiful angel in God's realm that challenged his authority and rebelled against him, was thrown from heaven and into the depths of he earth below. This is the realm that we call Hell and where all who disbelieve and will not accept Him as their Lord will one day be cast. This time is very near and all who want to be saved must now accept Jesus Christ as the Son of our God. He is the alpha and the omega, the beginning and the end. Amen

Why do you think he is called God....There is only one God....He is right and the rest of us are wrong.....does'nt matter what you believe or how you look at it.

Satan was originally created a beautiful angel named Lucifer.  However, because of his pride, he was cast from Heaven.  He is now Satan, the "Prince of Darkness".
