I have reported this as a personal attack! I hold no love for Mark and he holds none for me I am sure, but this is insufferable. To start a thread to attack a hubber at all is WRONG.

Standing with Mark on this one. I might just fan him after all.

This is absolutely ridicules. Mark is as entitled to his opinion as anyone else. It is shameful that any one would so publicly denounce someone for expressing their opinion. An honestly I hope the OP finds some where else to be quickly as we simply do not need the garbage they are spewing.

Faybe it is good that you have reported it. Mark deserves much better than this simply because he is a person. I would really like the OP to stand and be honest about who they are so that Mark at least is given the right to face his accuser.
This is such a cowardly way of handling this that I doubt the OP will even come back.

  HP can still take serious action as moderators/admin can view our IP address so no matter which HP member is posting this thread behind proxy or static/dynamic IP is under HP radars and can get screwed if HP takes this thread seriously.

Everything you apply to me can be applied to Knowsely 1,000-fold. You call my post an attack thread but he has huge numbers of them to his credit. Yes, be sure to bend over backwards for him with lots of hypocrisy because that just further substantiates the type adherents he has on his side.

I'm purposely hoping to frustrate Knowsley by not responding directly to him but I will make a deal. If he will list all user names he posts on hubpages with, I will reveal exactly who I am and will actually post back to him directly. If not my silence will be frustrating to you.

Just post each member name in a list but if one single one is left out, I will not hold up to my side of the offer. I know who most if not all of these users names are, so if he decides to list them but leaves just one out, the deal is off.

  I don't know, whoever it was/is is unworthy of respect though, that's for sure. I've seen Mark be quite decent even to people he argues with from time to time. A particular comment of his to someone once earned him my great respect. I wouldn't have been big enough myself to be that kind to that particular person at that particular time.
  
  I think he's a decent human being, which is more than I can say for alot of his "enemies".

  That is not the issue. The issue is that whether we agree with Mark or not, he is entitled to his opinion.
  It is about the OP attacking someone in such an ugly manner because they do not agree with him, and then having the audacity to make demands of Mark like he owes them something. The reality is that this is likely to be someone who is to intellectually challenged to defend the garbage they spew and so has to hide behind a puppet so the world will not see who they really are.
  In addition the OP not only attacked Mark they also included a few other Hubbers and this kind of malice should not be permitted.

  Someone made a list of some of the non-believers a few months ago in a rather unpleasant manner. I cannot remember who the person was but he/she called us "mockers and scoffers." Shortened to "Smoffers" for a joke, that's all.
  
  I think the person was banned for making the list because it was considered a personal attack.
  
  What kind of snakes? Check out my snake hubs for photos of rattlesnakes and other species I encounter in this area. The snake used as my avatar is a kingsnake, a hunter of other snakes.

  Logic and hypocrisy will settle this one, doesn't matter if you are an atheist of a person of faith.
  
  If you are a person of faith, then you believe what the bible says, literally I guess. In your view, God made everything and is the grand designer and can do no wrong. He made all people the way they are as part of his divine plan, so everything is scripted including homosexuals, Hitler, AIDs, War, etc etc. There are 11 commandments, 10 from Moses and 1 from Jesus (love one another). Homosexuality is not on that list.
  
  But if you are not a person of faith, then you believe in some other process, evolution per say I guess. Then all of us are a product of this process including homosexuals and you cannot question the outcome of this process whether its why people are homosexual or why fish don't have legs. To do otherwise is hypocritical.
  
  If you are agnostic and don't know or care either way, then I guess you shouldn't post.

I know Mark pretty well. I have to say he is forthright and honest in his beliefs and a solid writer who is honest to a fault in his business dealings as well. I am proud to know him.

As for sock puppets, according to one of his haters, half the people writing here, including myself, Randy, Tantrum and others have all been accused of being Mark.
Pretty funny really, as they would only need to see our hubs to know how dumb that is!

  I recently spent a week getting all sorts of slow downs. Turned out to be my CPU thrashing because the fan only ran when the CPU was cold, and shut down as it overheated. Drove me nuts till I found the problem!

  The trouble is that it would have cost more to fix than to buy a new better laptop with all the bells and whistles. I bought a new one, so will now repair it myself at my leisure, and use it for a backup.

Actually, Mark straddles the fence, from what I've seen.
He represents neither atheism nor Christianity fully.
I would rather he were hot or cold, as the Bible urges.
But that's his choice.

BTW, now we'll never know who his detractor was. That's the thing I hate about screen names, especially multiple ones.

  Hmm. That's odd, it seems pretty obvious to me that Mark is completely, totally, unequivocally, and quite vocally against Christianity and theism.
  
  But that's just my read on it; I don't know the guy, I could be wrong.
  
  But more importantly, who gives a flyin' flip who his "detractor" was? That person got far too much attention from this stupid thread, and it's a good thing they've removed that sock puppet voluntarily. Who wants to read any more of that kind of drivel, anyway?   If an atheist has no knowledge of the bible, that gets used as an attack against the secular argument. So which is it?
  
  Many atheists have studied the bible in an attempt to understand it and because they are trying to find faith from it. It is not uncommon for an atheist to have a better grasp of the book than an average christian does.
  
  I have a bible myself. I rarely pick it up but it's here on my shelf. Do you think I'm a fence straddler?

  Well that doesn't surprise me. Whether one believes in it or not, the Bible is an historical piece of literature; educated people often read it, and plenty of people end up having it shoved down their throats by tyrannical parents or parochial schools.
  
  Also, if one is so intensely interested in arguing with Christians, an obvious place to look in order to do so is in their own book.
  
  Reading the Bible is something TONS of people do. Understanding it and believing is a whole different can of worms.

  Interest does not equate to belief, Brenda. I too have read Bibles, several versions, in fact. But this doesn't mean I believe the accounts contained in the book.
  
  Many believers like to use the Bible as a reference for their claims for having faith in their god. But they only use the parts which agree with their own particular beliefs. They generally dismiss the scriptures which are not logical or contradict their statements.
  
  Mark, as well as myself and others, use scripture from the Bible to show how it can be used to justify almost anything a person wants it to. You know this because it has been stated many times on these forums.

  Don't dispute what you don't know. I know about the bible because I was raised up around it. Church 5 times a week. I dispute it all the time but my knowledge of it comes from growing up with it. My grandfather was deacon for 35 years. My Uncle is a pastor and has his own church. Maybe Mark has knowledge because it was a part of his life or he wanted to know what he was talking about before he disputed it.

  Absolutely! Unless you are racing! I do my Honda at 5000 as it has a very small sump, and only holds 3.5 litres without the filter.
  I use only Ricoh filters, as the amount and quality of the filter paper is massively better than most other filters.

  Are you seriously saying that only a Christian can properly interpret the bible? The rest of us are dumb? Or is it because other people will find the faults that are actually there and Christians are blind because they want to believe so badly? Whenever something comes up in the bible that is contradictory to itself or just completely impossible the Christian credo to explain it all away is, "With God All Things Are Possible." That statement makes me sick.

  You think HP will tolerate sock-puppet show if any user did this for some traffic/fanning gain ? IP address of each user posting on forums/answers/hubs/comments is visible to moderators and admin. Many members already raised this question when TS was replying,so i'm not surprised with their lack of understanding of internet when they said TS is Mark.

If bible is interpreted by agnostic/atheists or from other religions then it is not interpreted properly cause it is not in favor of belief. So in order to be in favor of belief it has to be interpreted by Christians right ? I just love religiously rational views.
