People keep talking about Palin having an affair with Rice.
    Can anyone corroborate this allegation?

I doubt its true but you should keep saying it, Americans love when liberals make stuff up. It usually results in landslide victories for Republicans.

You're welcome to come play on my thread, but please bring a modicum of humor with you. Geez!

I'm sorry you can't find the humor in that, I laughed my ass off last November.

Oh come on Repair Guy, maybe Palin was "probing"  Condi for her role in 911. But wasn't this about Glen Rice a basketball player???

Wrong Rice from what I hear.  Course I'm guessing if it were true it would have come out in the last election.  Still she has not denied it.  If it is true, I'd be very disappointed in her.  Not because Glen is black or a former NBA star, but because he is a Purdue alum.  She should have better taste than that! smile

Your half right. The rumor is about basketball player Glenn Rice. But he played at Michigan.

Who would be the "top" and the "bottom".  I'm going with Rice wearing the accessories and Palin probably just complains and talks all the time.  I'm sure Rice would have to put her hand over Palin's mouth a couple times.  Do you think Rice gives her geography lessons when they are finished instead of smoking a cig???

What she said was close enough according to your Snopes link.

"They're our next-door neighbors, and you can actually see Russia from land here in Alaska, from an island in Alaska:"

          1. Repairguy47 profile image60
Repairguy47posted 12 years agoin reply to this

You can see Russian land from American land. Big Diomede and Little Diomede, ever hear of them?

            1. Mighty Mom profile image77
Mighty Momposted 12 years agoin reply to this

The context for the question was what qualifications does Sarah Palin have in foreign relations.
It was not a "gotcha" question and that is not an answer.
The fact that there are American islands from which Russia can be viewed has zero bearing on SP's qualifications.
That's like saying there are cities in California that are so close to Mexico that you can actually have one foot in each country (which is true).
Being aware of that geographic fact in no way shape or form qualifies me to represent California or the US in its relations with Mexico.

But if that one's not sufficient for you, how about the COUNTRY of Africa and North Korea is our ally.
Two other quotes from SP underscoring her knowledge of global geography and US foreign relations.

              No, I haven't.

Wikipedia says Big Diomede is Russian and Little Diomede belongs to the US. The border  between Russia and Alaska was drawn between the islands with the Alaska Purchase.

Well, there was that time she slipped, and called Bush her husband.....maybe she swings both ways?

Could be a wild one under that stiff exterior....like I heard Bush's Brain used to dress up as Miss Piggy and hang out at gay bars in DC!

after that, I always imagined him in make-up. And that reminds me look at this! It's creepy:
