I took quite a fall four nights ago, resulting in a broken hand and damaged rotater cuff. I am not looking for sympathy. My purpose for posting this is so people will understand that I have not been ignoring hubs. I am doing fine but have temporarily limited my activity on Hub page while I am healing a bit.
Ouch!. Be well shiningirisheyes. I wish you a quick recovery.
I wish you all the best to heal quickly and to be well soon. We all wish the best for you, and know that when you able, we will be here waiting for you. Be well, my friend.
Oh my dear. I am so sorry. You are the sweetest. Dont worry about anything.get well and know you are loved
I don't think we could ever accuse you of forgetting other hubbers.
Sorry to hear about your shoulder and hope it mends soon. Get back to writing some of those wonderful stories with a beautiful twist at the end, or do I have to come over to upstate NY and give you what for? lol.
Take care (he,he,not a pun) and have a great weekend.
Goodness, Beckie! I hope you're not in too much pain. Take care and know I'm thinkin of you!
Irish, did you trip over a leprechaun? My goodness Irish ! Well, I prescribe an occasional sipping of some Black Label Bushmills, or perhaps Jameson - may not cure you , but will take your mind off of your injuries.
So sorry! Hope you recover fast. Fill up on antioxidants, green tea is a good one. Be looking forward to have you back! God bless you.
Not to worry, shiningirisheyes! It is very common for Hubbers to pop in and out- the rest of the world certainly has a way of throwing curve balls, doesn't it?
I wish you the speediest and most successful of recoveries!
Hi Shiningirisheyes! I know that you are not looking for sympathy but I am sorry for you anyway! I wish you a speedy recovery! I would be terribly sad for myself it happened because I create 3D projects and paint and I would be totally out of it for a while! So I empathise totally for you!
Take that time to rest and enjoy the view (I hope you have nice surroundings to look at). I am sure you must have plenty of ideas for new hubs so may be you can to type key words or small sentences with your other hand to keep those ideas for when you recover! Take good care of yourself :-)
Hey Irish! I hope that you mend in a hurry, but how are you going to shovel all the snow that's coming?! Hopefully there's a friendly neighborhood kid willing to help out. Just kidding! Here's to your speedy recovery, my friend.
Not to worry at all. Just focus on healing and being back to yourself...
My friend, you will be missed but take the time you need to heal. On the bright side, you have a new experience to write about when things are back to normal. I'm sorry you had such a big accident but am sending healing thoughts your way. Take care of yourself!!!
A lot of people have things going on in their lives that make it impossible or hard to keep up with HubPages. I don't think anyone would think you're ignoring them!
It sure is sweet of you to let everyone know why you are not on HP much, though!
Shiningirisheyes, I hope your hand heals fast. Take care!
I'm sorry about your accident, shiningirisheyes. Take good care of yourself! I hope you heal soon.
Hi my friend sorry to hear you had a bad fall, hope you mend up real quick because we miss you here on HP.
Take care and get plenty of rest.
Are you in the path of that snow storm ???? If so no shoveling snow .
Where i live we are and it is just starting to snow.
Have a very restful weekend !
Beckie the most important thing is your health. Sorry to hear you had such a nasty fall. Take care of yourself and I hope you feel better soon and mend quickly. Everything else can wait. God bless and hugs.
Oh, a broken hand! I wish you a full and speedy recovery. Take a break and let yourself heal - thinking of you!

Enjoy the weather. we are in a horrible snow storm around the great lakes. Sorry about your fall but our bodies do tell us when it is time to rest.
shiningirisheyes that is sweet from you. May prayers lift you up to our Lord for healing. I have seen that all things happen for good, even when we do not understand. You are missed and loved. Rest, take care and share with those around you. Hugs and blessings!

shiningirisheyes - A rotator cuff takes time to heal and that is your first priority. You are so kind to let us know and we all will miss you and wish you a speedy recovery.
shiningirisheyes...I could have sworn I already posted on this forum...as I could never have even the slightest inclination that you would ignore anything, as you are a very awesome spirit and I am proud to call you friend and vice versa..Just take care of yourself and I know you are already contemplating your next " beaucoup hubs"...relax and remember to prioritize yourself..
Spring is just around the corner..." won't you join me in a cup of Peach and Ginger tea ?" Take care dear friend and tell Mom I said hello...enjoy the week-end ..later..as always from the " gator farm "
