My first interview as a writer was with our very own Ryan here from HubPages!! I'm so jazzed about this - Ryan asked me some questions about my second payout from Google and how it works, and what motivated me to keep writing. The interview is here at the HubPages blog:

So to all of you hubbers, especially the ones that are waiting for that payout, don't give up, it can and does happen!! It just takes time and stick-to-it-tiveness!!!
What a fun interview, Dorsi! Thanks again for taking the time to answer the questions for me.
There's some great information in your answers and it's something that every Hubber should take a look at. HubPages is not about making the quick buck -- if you stick with it there is some serious opportunity waiting for any writer to take advantage of.
Ah geeze you mean I cant make money writing fast boo hoo! Well done Dorsi!
That was some good and motivating information. It has been just more then 4months for me here and sometimes I do get impatient but then we have to keep writing and keep holding our patience.
Lissie: Hey once I find out which get rich quick scheme works I'll be sure to let you know!)
PackerPack: Hang in there, you will eventually reach payout. Just keep writing and coming to the forums! Glad the interview was helpful for you!
Patty: Thank-you! It was fun doing the interview and hopefully gives hubbers some inspiration into the Google Adsense world, and how it takes time to build up your "reputation" and writers skills. Payout takes time but it IS possible!!! Whoo hoo!!!
Great interview, Dorsi!!! Great information, and a great motivation for writers like me, who are still waiting for that first payout!!
Congratulations on your payouts and a really great interview, Dorsi!
An even weirder thing has happened since hitting second payout. I've had the best week on Adsense since I joined. Could it be I've hit some type of higher threshold??? Hmmm.....
(and BTW all of you who came by to comment...thanks!!!!)

I have just started, so I dont expect it in the near future, but how many hubs, or how many months before you start making money? How much traffic is considered to be good traffic? Right now I am getting about an average of 75 hits per day on 4 hubs. Is that good? What...

I've got just over $50.00 in my account balance. Once October 4th wears on, I'll have $0.61-$1.00 more depending on my CPM and the number of views I have during the day.

Hi, I am new here and am in the process of getting my adsense account approved and i was just curious, on average, how long does it take to get your first payout with adsense? Does it depend on how may hubs you write? Thanks for the help!

My hub traffic tanked by 90%! Anyone else experiencing any problems. It looks like some of my hubs have been removed from the first page of google for the key terms they were related too. These were articles that were on my blog for years, so I recently did a redirect to so not to lose my rankings...
