Good morning HubMobsters, this is a great start for a new week, our
Saint Patrick HubMobs are reaching their peak with 650+ views per day, which is awesome.
And we have more surprises this morning as we finally decided which 3 HubMobs are getting the StumbleUpon prizes.
All 34 HubMobs were amazing, it was difficult to choose only 3. But here we are, the 3 winning HubMobs for last week's Spring HubMob contest are:
1) Spring Wedding Themes and Ideas by WeddingConsultant
2) 18 Easy Spring Cleaning Ideas by Kathryn Vercillo
3) Spring Book Releases: Award-Winning Authors With a Twist by Patty Inglish, MS
"I just call
I love you
I just call to say..."
this week's HubMob topic is Mobile phones
There are so many new models out there, so many utilities offered, services and extras that most of us don't know any more which one to choose. When I grew up, just having a phone in your home was a luxury, and no, I am not that old! But it looks like in only a few years the telephone has become a vital part of our lives. What did we do before we had telephones? How did we ever manage without a cell phone?
This week not only can you Hub about mobile phones, but you can take advantage of the topic and use to your advantage Amazon capsules to generate profits. Did you know that cell phones and services are one of the biggest Amazon bestsellers? Why not take advantage and review a few products?
Some ideas for a HubMob are:
- Mobile phones: models, types, brands
- Choosing the right cell phone for your needs
- Pros and cons of mobile phones
- Compare different mobile phone services, best offers
- Mobile phone utilities.
- How does having a mobile phone has changed your live
- Are mobile phones a health hazard?
- Mobile phone accessories: covers, hands free sets, etc
- Decoding the cell phone language: WiFi, email, Bluetooth, i-pod, full-QWERTY phones, etc
- Transferring data from your mobile phone
- Keeping track of your children through a mobile phone
- Car accessories
- Fashion accessories
- Text messages
- How to use your mobile phone
- Why might you avoid having a mobile phone?
- Pre paid phones vs contracts
To join this week's HubMob
please follow the steps below:
1. Come up with an amazing idea to write your Cell phone HubMob
2. After you come up with your topic idea, click this link and answer the Request that I entered in for all of you HubMobsters.
3. Choose a relevant title for your HubMob and feel free to use the tags that I suggested and add your own tags. To get a good ranking in the search engines make your title relevant to your hub content and avoid starting your title with "Weekly HubMob"
4. Choose a relevant category for your HubMob
5. Write an awesomely comprehensive Hub that completely covers your topic idea.
4. Include the HubMob RSS Feed in your hub: http://hubpages.com/request/11023/best?rss
5. Add the HubMob image specially made by ProCW for the occasion to your Hub so that everyone who reads it will know that it is part of the official HubMob topic of the week.
6. After you publish your HubMob Hub, come back to the forum and post a link to your hub with a brief description of what you wrote about and why. Take advantage of the free publicity!
7. Keep track of your Hub and keep us updated on any traffic that you're getting and post some screenshots if you end up HubMobbing a few search keywords over on Google.
Yep, that's about it - have fun writing your HubMob Hub this week and please let us all know if you have any questions. Have fun, you crazy HubMobsters.
Congrats WeddingConsultant, Kathryn & Patty!!! I really enjoyed reading each of your hubs!
Congrats WeddingConsultant, Kathryn & Patty Inglish on winning the HubMob prizes!! All the three hubs were great and deserve the prizes!
Thank you HubMob Staff, Readers and Writers! I love HubMob for its topics and wonderful entries each week and I am honored to have been chosen as ione of the three winners.
Yay! Thanks so much...I'm so appreciative! It's nice to see all that hard work pay off. I think I spent more time on that hub than some research papers I've done for my master's degree
If you keep coming up with these great hubmob topics, I'll just have to keep writing.
Just a little text message to all you HubMobsters:

Congrats WeddingConsultant, Kathryn & Patty !

CONGRATS to WeddingConsultant, Kathryn & Patty!!! A job very well done.
Recent controversy - Would you take the cell phone away from a homeless person? --
Ach! - I just saw that this one was my 800th Hub - on St. Patrick's Day as well. Everyone be blessed today!
Hi Everybody! Interesting topic, it should bring in some fantastic amounts of traffic!
I'm running behind because of I've been blessed with a lot of work lately, but I'm starting the HubMob hub now. I'll get you all in there just as fast as these fingers can type!
I already wrote a hub about mobile phones, but if I buy a new one in the future maybe I can write about this topic again. I only can write about products I have used and can take pictures of personally, but I am sure this will be a great revenue generator. I have had my most amazon sales ever from one of my cell phone hubs.
Mobile Phones - Calling All HubMobsters
Here it is, folks.
Who won what ?? sorry lost in the ozone again
Shameless self promotions...what do you think, feed back welcome cause I respect you guys http://hubpages.com/_16sna8p3rr7ok/hub/THE-NEXT-WAVE
Sorry, Sandman. This thread is for the posting of HubMob request responses only.
Why not write one on Mobile Phones and put into this week's HubMob? You have until midnight on Sunday (today).
Princessa, I noticed that a lot more hubs are showing up in the feed than what has been posted here in the forum.
Could it be possible that some are answering the request directly and not even seeing Princessa's instructions?
I went through the RSS feed to check all of the hubs and posted a quick comment to the hubs that still need a graphic & rss feed in them. (On guidebaba's, I think I saw a typo when I submitted my comment -- oops! He apparently has to approve all comments first. )
Here is my contribution for this week.
I found a little time to do this. It isn't much, but it was fun!!!
Here is my contribution

I didn't see the forum side of this, I simply responded to the request. However I think I have everything in order now and I will watch the forum for future hubmob opportunities.
I wrote a short piece called Cell Phones - Gadget of the Modern 007 illustrating many of the ways to use cell phones other than making and receiving phone calls, with a humorous parallel to James Bond throughout.

Hi Shirley, another great job gathering all the amazing mobile phone HubMobs. I've voted on the ones I've read, I'll be going back later to vote on the others as I read them
So far there are 13 official Mobile phone HubMobs. I guess some of the new HubMobsters are not use to the idea of coming back to the forum to post a link to their HubMob.
Have a great week
AARRRRGGG!!!! Such an amazing topic, I could just go on and on and on, I'm super-glued to my cell phone...I don't know if I will have time, with my work schedule being the way it is this week (over 60 hours) but I will try! There are too many possiblities for this one, this isn't fair Princessa!!! I highly approve and also strenuously object!!!
I finally got around to writing another hub. It's been almost a year, but here it is! I've been lurking all this while but haven't found the time or the inspiration to write anything. Perhaps this will be the start of a trend.
Congrats Pete, Kathryn and Patty. I was away and just got a chance to read your hubs, they were great and sure deserved to win. regards Zsuzsy
This would be my first submission for any hubwob weekly topic, so lets see how it does-
This is my post for this week
I have an idea on a hub for this round but not sure about it. May I run the title by everyone here for some feedback?
God's Cell Phone - I want to hear about that one.
"Why Should the Homeless Be Allowed Cell Phones?" is #1 on Google right at this moment, as is "Cell Phones of the Roaring Twenties."
Hey, I remembered to click Request first this time so here's my first successful attempt (I think, I hope) at a weekly HubMob hub:
Mobile Phone Fashion Fun - Make Your Own Accessory
http://hubpages.com/hub/Mobile-Phone-Cr … -Accessory
Hi Sandi, welcome to the HubMob fun. Yes, it is a successful HubMob, I would say an excellent first HubMob with a very original idea.
You got everything:
1) answered clicking on the request,
2) you added the HubMob graphic and
3) the RSS feed.
4) Finally and most important: Very good content!
Here's my second contribution to this week's topic:
Decorating Cell Phones - Charms Covers or Crystals
For people looking to decorate a cell phone, I've summarized the choices and organized resources to get them started.
The HubMob has been updated again. I won't be able to come back until tomorrow. I'll update again at that time.

This week's HubMob has taken more of a consumer, money-spending, self-indulgent shift, which is totally OK with me. You see, this week's HubMob Topic of Products, Products And More Products! Hub about a product that you love or that other people love is designed to appeal to that inner mall-loving,...

Hey there HubMobsters! Before I even get started on this post, I feel like I should let everyone who is reading this know exactly how awesome it was to see all of us Hubbers come together for last week's HubMob, which was the first one that we have ever had here on HubPages. We had 30+ Hubbers...
