      My HubPages award for Best Imagery was waiting for me on the doorstep when I returned today, all safe and sound and beautifully wrapped.  Thank you so much, HubPages Staff and to those of you who voted for me,  you will never know how-how much this means to me.
      Now, I am a kind of shy gal who likes to live under a cloud of wool so if you don't mind I am sending a picture of my mug via a messenger.

         You did a fabulous job and deserve the award!  Congrats again!  Love the picture of the mug as well.  It makes me want to try taking a few shots with mine even though I'm absolutely not talented in photography and really know little about it!  But there's nothing wrong with just having fun!  If anything comes out well I'll post it.

   I'd like to thank God, the Academy, my Mom, my brothers and sisters in the Metal Pounders Local #666, the fellas down at the Blue Oyster Bar, and most of all, actor/singer Leif Garrett... for obvious reasons.
   
   But seriously folks... thanks a bunch. It's nice to know somebody besides me actually reads the nonsense I pump out around here.

    I actually thought Marisa Wright would win that position and I voted for her as such.

             My journey on HubPages only came about because I was into Macro Photography in a big way in those early days.   I suddenly realized that I could utilize those skills to take fellow Feltmakers on a pictorial journey of a different kind:)
