@ Klara -- you are one wonderful lady!! I am flying back to our Nation's Capital on Tuesday -- I have a job interview on Thursday!! But, in the meantime, I have to find a room or apartment so I can go there when I land. Or, might have to be a hotel for a night. How are you??

  Hello Beth. I hope all is well with you and the family. Have you moved in your new place yet? Yeah I am working too much Beth. I go in on days off etc. But today I went to the boat with Linda and Evan my grandson. It was nice until the sky broke loose LOL

  Thanks. I'm still with my family out west -- my mom's a bit more mobile and in better spirits. I even managed to take her shopping for two hours! She hasn't been shopping for close to 7 years because of her health.
  
  I didn't move into the new place.... super long story that entangles other lives.... I'm on the warpath of finding a new home and a new job. Hopefully, the will fall into place within the next two weeks. Big interview at a HUGE children's hospital -- I've been wanting to get in there for a while. Unionized, great benefits, wonderful patients and staff. I know the CEO but I haven't called in a favor yet.... hopefuly, I won't have to.
  
  I'm glad you and Linda made it onto the boat. Evan must have been thrilled! Do you have your power back?? Unlike you, we have a drought up here. Dry as a desert. It's aweful. But, rain can be just as aweful. How's the boat humming along?
  
  Don't overwork yourself!! it's summer -- enjoy the waves with your lovely wife and grandson.

  It is so nice seeing you Beth. It is wonderful that you got your mom out for a little shopping. She must of been so happy to get out and enjoy the day with you. That is so great!!
  
  I have electric and worked today but as soon as I got home we headed for the boat. It is running great and so happy I keep her. We were going to sell the boat and trailer and just by something else but we thought, this boat is so sea worthy and build great so we kept it. and glad we did. It cuts through waves beautiful and never feel a bump.
  
  Evan at first didn't want to go on the boat but once he got a taste of it we can't keep him off LOL.
  
  Very windy out in the Bay today and there was a concert on land right on the bay were my sisters house is, The band is know to sound like Rod Stewart and he does. The place was packed and 100's of boats were anchoring out off the beach so I just floated around and listened to the music. No parking problems and crowds to deal with. It was great and my sister and all her friends were on land. I have to ask her if she saw me out there floating.

  Hello Klara, How is my girl tonight? Working on my third hub for tonight and my neck is killing me so I must stop LOL. Early to work tomorrow for a 8 1/2 hour shift No boating then after work I have to take Evan to SeaIsle City about an hour away. His mom is renting a house for two weeks on the Ocean.
  
  Then 2 weeks he will come back to my house for one week and the last till to next summer. He love the boat Klara

Good morning, Mark, Denise, mts, Beth, Cara, and anyone else who might show their face today!
The Spanish newlyweds are arriving on Monday so we've got plenty to do this weekend in order to have the apartment ready. I'm looking forward to spending more time with my sister-in-law. She was going nuts with the wedding and we didn't have enough time to share while I was in Granada.
All things are well. My pigeon eggs have not hatched yet, but I'm thinking it will happen soon. I might have to get a trellis in order to keep the babies from falling off the ledge. But my balcony is looking nice with my plants and my Spanish rings. I posted a video on FB where I show all of my plants outside and inside... if any of you are interested in seeing what I do in my time off.
And talking about time off... vacations are almost done. :- / Oh well!

  Hi Bill and glad you had a great time on LBI. Just finished work .Went in at 7:30 am to finish up painting the fire doors outside and man was it hot. I had to do the doors on the east side where the sun comes up.
  
  So now I am done and BTW I went in to do the job on my day off LOL again!! I hope they appreciate it. Have a great day Bill and cheers to you and the family too

  Doors turned out beautiful. I was told today just want a great job I did. Well I had my own painting Business and painted 300-500 dollar homes (new construction)

The summer seems to have flown by! It's August and time to prepare for school...my nephew's last year: senior photos to select; senior project to work on; and getting new school uniforms...that's our 'to do' list. But first: one last trip---to Illinois next weekend to visit relatives that are visiting from Italy whom I've never met. So glad I decided to take the trip.

Linda and I just got home a while ago from a beautiful sunset boat ride. Better have done it today because it is suppose to rain and storm for 2 days . Bad storms heading our way.

  Hey Klara I am doing fine and no word from the other. He tends to lay back when put in his place and pops up in a couple months to make more trouble. No boating today. We had a bad storm this morning and early afternoon, but now the sun is back out. Crazy weather here Klara

  Thanks, Mark. My birthday was glorious! I had an awesome time with friends and family, and I received calls from my sisters who couldn't share the day with me but were with me in spirit. :-) I'm officially 37 and I've updated my profile page to reflect my age. I'm happy with what I've lived and thankful for all I've experienced and for this magnificent body that I've been blessed with. It might not be as beautiful as other women's figures, but it's a good, strong, healthy body... more than enough to live a happy life!

  Good news! The pigeon eggs hatched! We've got sweet, loving, yellow baby birds! Mama pigeon and Papa pigeon are taking turns like the good responsible couple they are! They're beautiful! So proud of them!

Hello Urmila, Beth, Denise, Mark, Mts, and Cara. I have been very busy with my sister in law spending a week here with us, and now with the beginning of the school year next week. :-) My classroom is nowhere near being ready, and I have been working my butt off to get it all done before Friday, because Thursday and Friday is when we have all the faculty meetings. So I'm very behind on the reading, writing (not that I can write at the moment. My hands are killing me. I think I have tendonitis.) So I'm off to see Denise's video. I might have to start vlogging instead of typing. Anyways, I hope you all have a great night.

Hi everyone! Just stopping in real fast cause I need to get to bed. very tired and sore from work. I helped two young men today and the capt of a fishing ship . they were stocking up on many thing for a 4 month trip out of LBI where I live to line fish for Sword Fish. One guy was on the Deadliest Catch
Awesome guys., We started out with 40 gallons of 2% milk, 10 gallons of Soy and so on.

the bill was over $8,000.00 dollars. Unbelievable .They wanted me to come to the dock tomorrow at 6am to see them off. I don't know if I will make it

  I am here now. I worked today of course and took Linda out to my job to buy her some B day Presents for tomorrow. I bought Evan 2 remote control cars in which he loves and we were racing them in the driveway.
  
  Linda I bought the Keurig Coffee machine, Then a 12 piece Stainless Steel pan set (Cuisinart) Beautiful set and a bunch of 12 volt and AA batteries for the race cars, so there goes that pay check LOL
  
  Have a great Friday and weekend coming Klara. I work BUT off on Sunday. They had me work 10 days in a row so Mark is a bit tired

Hi Everyone! Miss all of you but this has been a crazy busy summer! I can't believe that I go back to work next week! At least I'll be with the cute little first graders. I met a few yesterday and they were very cute and very excited.

  Congrats Beth. Glad to hear things are starting to work out for you. I go back on Wednesday for pre-school stuff and then the kids start Sept.4th. My daughter starts kindergarten this year so it's going to be a new and exciting transition for our family!

  Mark, my hands are tired. I've been using rags and towels to collect water from the window frame all day long. Isaac will leave me with blisters on my hands! Ouch! The pigeons are wet but safe. I closed the shutters leaving a small opening for mama pigeon to go in and out. It's unbelievable how mom and dad have been taking turns taking care of the little ones. What an amazing thing to watch!
  
  But this blueberry pie is delicious and it makes it all better! YUM!

  It is so nice hearing from you Klara Yes watching those birds is truly amazing. They have it together for sure. Lin and I have three bird feeders and one humming bird feeder. There are so many birds everyday and it is truly amazing watching them feed. Blue birds, robins, and many many different ones all at once too, except when the Blue jays come the rest get out fast LOL
  
  Linda did well driving the boat. She needs to learn the rules of the water and it is nice for her to learn JUST in case something ever happened to me on the water, she needs to know how to run the boat.
  
  I have had many boats from 18 foot to 47 foot and this is the first boat she has taken the controls on

  Hi Mark,
  The storm is going strong still. I'm battling my dog's gastritis. She has been in and out of the hospital for about a month. It's very expensive and stressing. Just yesterday, I took her to the vet because she overate Friday night and vomited early Saturday. They put her on a medication that seemed to be working just fine, and then, tonight... she ate a piece of fabric! UGH! So I gave her some basil to see if that helps her throw up. She needs to vomit now because I can't afford surgery at this point! This has been so very stressful! You have no idea!

  Hi Klara I am sorry to hear about your dog. Yes it is so stressful and you feel so bad when they are sick.
  Mason vomited 2 times last night but seems to be ok now. I hope things get better down there for you and you hubbie. Hopefully the sun will come out and dry out Miami
  
  Got to get ready for work, 3 to 9 tonight and then back in a 5 am till 10am. I'd rather be retired LOL

Hello My friends I had a good day today considering my bad back and a tooth ache. we went out in my boat and then in my sister's boat. What a beautiful day on the water. Water like a sheet of glass.

Now I have to think if I want to buy a bigger boat. This one is for sale next door to my sister's house on the bay. It is still a Grady White, but a Overnighter with a potty LOL

200 hp engine and lot newer than the one I have. I think I will go for it because he is going to takle my boat plus of course $$$$$ from me. Bigger and newer boat. I'll let you know what happen tomorrow after I take a sea trail on her

  Hi Denise and that is a very pretty picture of you dear. I hope all is well and that new boat is a no. My friend thought about it over night and feels uncomfortable selling it to me in case something would go wrong. He doesn't want to lose a friendship over a material thing and I understand completely. Linda is fine and she is happy that I didn't buy. she loves our boat and that is all that matters.

  Another change, I guess. I've noticed it gone for awhile. The other thing that I notice that is missing is the 'contact' that we were able to use to send a message to a hubber...I don't see that around anymore, or is it just a particular person that doesn't happen to have it? anyone else notice this?
