Okay, I love to support my fans here at Hubpages.  I love to read your work that you slaved over for a measly 5 cents in Adsense earnings a week and love when you read my work that earns 2 cents a week on Hubpages, but in the words of Samuel L. Jackson's character from Pulp Fiction, "Y'all need to chill the f*%k out!"  There's too many of them to read!  Take it easy, huh?  Can we like cool it a bit, to like 5 hubs a day from each of your guys, max?  We're all talented and have a thing or two to share, but c'mon, people!  Be considerate of other's VALUABLE TIME.  Either that, or crank out some real crappy hubs, then NO ONE will want to read you!  Make a choice, for the love of Maria!  Thanks a bunch!  Good hubbing everyone big_smile  Hope you enjoyed this!

Hi dohn, I receive many hubs each day and I really struggle to read like 50 a day, it is fun to get all that knowledge but exhausting at the same time...

Yes, yes, Shamel!  This is exactly what I was driving at!  I might have lied.  Sometimes I will go nuts and just sit down and read, on a day off, 50+ hubs in one day.  I always make an effort to show my support, especially to new, promising hubbers!

LOL. Too many good hubs to read, too little time dohn. Especially since some of our favorite hubbers were already in hubpages 2 years ago! There's just too many hubs to catch up on. It's gonna take us a year to read all of them smile.

I like Dame Scribe's strategy. Sit back, relax, don't write and READ! I also turned off the email notifications and I just look in my hubber fan clubs and click the hub I want to read. smile Or check out the new hubs / best hubs. And I bookmark those that I want to read at leisure (not that I have too many leisure time right now sad).

So chill out my friend smile. And let's spend the week-end reading hubs! LOL

Thanks, ernie.  I appreciate your advice.  I bookmark too, from time to time...That way too, the hub gets double the hits smile

Well hopefully you haven't followed me because I'm about to release a ton more hubs. I have most of them written, but haven't gotten them formatted yet for hubpages. (Paragraphs titles, pictures, etc.)

You know, you can always quit the fan clubs of people turning out large numbers of hubs you don't want to read.  That, or turn off your email notifications.

The best way to handle this is to just quit their fan club.  It's also the easiest way.  You could always become their fan again if you change your mind, I guess.

dohn121, What a pleasant and cute thread you've started (even though I'm not necessarily assuming any of my Hubs are among those inviting you to spend so much time).  Anyway, I thought I'd note here that I've truly been more than doing my part in writing my share of crappy Hubs recently (and in the past too).  Your post makes me realize that apparently crappy Hubs have some reason to exist too.  smile

It deff can be overwhelming when so many of your fave hubbers publish on the same day. One strategy I use is to check out Hubtivity and see where my fave hubbers are commenting and read those (or start with those).
One thing I've found deff is anathema to reading or writing -- losing hours of life on the Forums. OMG, there are people who seem to spend their entire day on certain Forum threads. I've found that can be quite seductive. Especially if I'm in a procrastinating mood....

I write hubs no one reads. No one has time with all the hubbing on. Anyway, Fast-food-like hubs, requiring no thinking and reading hubtivate more than information loaded hubs. That's the nature of the beast, crap, you receive lots of rap because everyone is so crappy trying to blog, hub and at least earn .10c from this recession in recess. Understanding the media is going to be crucial in the times ahead..
