Okay, I love to support my fans here at Hubpages. I love to read your work that you slaved over for a measly 5 cents in Adsense earnings a week and love when you read my work that earns 2 cents a week on Hubpages, but in the words of Samuel L. Jackson's character from Pulp Fiction, "Y'all need to chill the f*%k out!" There's too many of them to read! Take it easy, huh? Can we like cool it a bit, to like 5 hubs a day from each of your guys, max? We're all talented and have a thing or two to share, but c'mon, people! Be considerate of other's VALUABLE TIME. Either that, or crank out some real crappy hubs, then NO ONE will want to read you! Make a choice, for the love of Maria! Thanks a bunch! Good hubbing everyone Hope you enjoyed this!
When I try to create crap..It just comes out GREAT! IM SORRY! haha
Hi dohn, I receive many hubs each day and I really struggle to read like 50 a day, it is fun to get all that knowledge but exhausting at the same time...
Yes, yes, Shamel! This is exactly what I was driving at! I might have lied. Sometimes I will go nuts and just sit down and read, on a day off, 50+ hubs in one day. I always make an effort to show my support, especially to new, promising hubbers!
LOL. Too many good hubs to read, too little time dohn. Especially since some of our favorite hubbers were already in hubpages 2 years ago! There's just too many hubs to catch up on. It's gonna take us a year to read all of them .
I like Dame Scribe's strategy. Sit back, relax, don't write and READ! I also turned off the email notifications and I just look in my hubber fan clubs and click the hub I want to read. Or check out the new hubs / best hubs. And I bookmark those that I want to read at leisure (not that I have too many leisure time right now ).
So chill out my friend . And let's spend the week-end reading hubs! LOL
Well hopefully you haven't followed me because I'm about to release a ton more hubs. I have most of them written, but haven't gotten them formatted yet for hubpages. (Paragraphs titles, pictures, etc.)
Mate, you wont be saying that if you're making $50 per hub per day like everyone else here. Where have you been??
LMAO don't have to worry about me posting any dohn...I'm brain dead for hubs right now lmao
You know, you can always quit the fan clubs of people turning out large numbers of hubs you don't want to read. That, or turn off your email notifications.
No, I have no problems NOT reading the bad stuff, just finding time to read all the good, interesting stuff
Ah, in that case, all I can suggest is investing in a time machine.
So many hubs, so little time dohn.
I am inspired by Dame Scribe, Jane@CM, and mtsi1098 who have a plan or routine for reading. Inspired by your binge reading too dohn.
I don't believe this, you have read all the bad stuff I wrote.
I need to thank you for supporting my hubs with your comments, especially those comments which pointed out the huge blunders I made in my hubs, for instance, "A panda lives for 335 years".
How does a person turn off their email notifications?
The best way to handle this is to just quit their fan club. It's also the easiest way. You could always become their fan again if you change your mind, I guess.
Under the profile section I think there is a place to check or uncheck
I highly suggest pick a night between writing and marketing ...call it your Fan night to just sit and read, comment, vote it's great n stress free.
Have you read my story yet dohn? that is a must read lmao just kidding you can raed it when yo have the time
I finished the first part and will finish the rest, I promise! Does your son play football?
I can help you save time.
I write really, really really, useless, crappy, boring hubs, so please don't waste any time checking them out.
Eric, you continue to make me laugh!
I try to read 4-5 hubs a day..I'm not keeping up, but, my purpose at this point in time is to write more than read. I find reading them before bed is good relaxation.
I actually have been bad and haven't read a lot the hubs..sorry fans Please forgive me I am only one and you are so many who keep posting hubs daily lol
I read when I can but not as often as I like...I do dedicate sessions for reading and writing
THANK YOU DOHN! I appreciate it. and don't worry i have a thick skin. But I like adverbs! lmao just kidding. and the reason why it's such a depressing ending is because livewithrichard requested no happy endings. and plus I wanted no happy endings too.
I don't think we should ignore them....maybe read the ones that really interests you. Or if a hubber needs help read them?
It is one of the cons of fan base, but so much good stuff to read. I'm glad I have time for it, but I find my duties around my home failing me. LOL Then I want to check out the forums and lose time here too. but it is fun also. So quit cher bitchin and git to readin my man.LOL
LOL, I know what you mean! I'm still trying to catch up on my reading.
I need another back scratch May. Love when cats give me a good scratch.
dohn121, What a pleasant and cute thread you've started (even though I'm not necessarily assuming any of my Hubs are among those inviting you to spend so much time). Anyway, I thought I'd note here that I've truly been more than doing my part in writing my share of crappy Hubs recently (and in the past too). Your post makes me realize that apparently crappy Hubs have some reason to exist too.
It deff can be overwhelming when so many of your fave hubbers publish on the same day. One strategy I use is to check out Hubtivity and see where my fave hubbers are commenting and read those (or start with those).
One thing I've found deff is anathema to reading or writing -- losing hours of life on the Forums. OMG, there are people who seem to spend their entire day on certain Forum threads. I've found that can be quite seductive. Especially if I'm in a procrastinating mood....
Dohn121, the enthusiasm and thought you put into encouraging other hubbers is noticed and appreciated.
I'm sure that's not the first time you've heard that, though.
He has been a great supporter ever since I came on 2 weeks ago. I think we should all give Dohn $100 from our Adsense earnings every month, what does everyone think? He's the real champ!
Ok Dohn121...I'm chilling then...Thanks...I could use a lil' break...!
YOU ALWAYS read mine i think at leasst most of them so i am sooooo honoured, it is hard to read everything you want to read and have a life as well..
I write hubs no one reads. No one has time with all the hubbing on. Anyway, Fast-food-like hubs, requiring no thinking and reading hubtivate more than information loaded hubs. That's the nature of the beast, crap, you receive lots of rap because everyone is so crappy trying to blog, hub and at least earn .10c from this recession in recess. Understanding the media is going to be crucial in the times ahead..

It is especially important, particularly in support of new Hubbers, that when we have read one of their Hubs, we indicate our reaction by taking the few seconds needed to indicate our reaction to their Hub (funny, awesome, useful, interesting, etc.). Not only might it be a needed encouragement and...

Hubbers need to know if their account is a full-value account worth the full 40% income value to HP. Or if their account is a referred account that is only worth the partial 30% value to HP. Knowing one's value to HP is an important factor in determining how much time, labor, and even money the...

There are tons of hubs on keyword selection and the various tools one could use to make the process easier. But, like most things 'net - they are mostly copies of copies of copies or poorly strewn together theories by intermediate writer-marketers ..So I ask... what was truly masterful, what made...

What is the best way to increase comments and accolades received on a hub? What is the single best way to increase interest in your hubs? And what is the best way to increase the most obvious evidence of interest in your hubs - namely, comments and accolades received? After nearly 2 years on...
