Last week we broke records, it was the HubMob week with most hubs ever in the history of the HubMobs: 98 published hubs !!!
A big thanks to all the HubMobsters who made the Toys HubMob possible. A special mention to our most prolific HubMobster of the week, Simple Tim who submitted an amazing 22 hubs
And this week we are going to hubmob about Body Art.
Body art is one of the earliest forms of artistic expression known to humankind. Since very early times, body art has been used to indicate status, religious devotion and desired protection. Nowadays body art is a form of expression; people get tattooed and pierced as a way to express their individuality.
Some ideas for a body art hub this week can draw on the most common forms of body art: tattoos and body piercings. If you are a bit more daring you might want to try other types of body art which include scarification, branding, shaping and body painting. Those of you not familiar with the subject might want to explore Museums & Exhibits of Body Art in your city/country, the history of body art, body art conventions and other related events calendar in your area. Those of you with a religious interest could explore the relationship between body art and religion and tribal body art.
Whatever subject you choose for your HubMob hub this week just make sure that you are having fun writing about it; after all that is one of the basic principles of hubmobbing: to enjoy writing!
To join this week's HubMob please follow the steps below:
1. YOU MUST START YOUR HUB CLICKING THIS LINK. Choose the Answer the Request green button. Choose the MAKE A HUB ABOUT IT option.
2. Choose a relevant title for your Hub to get a good ranking in the search engines, AVOID starting your title with "Weekly HubMob"
3. Include the HubMob RSS Feed in your hub: http://hubpages.com/question/24106/hubm … ew&rss
4. Add the HubMob graphic to your hub so that everyone who reads it will know that it is part of the official HubMob topic of the week.
5. After you publish your HubMob Hub, come back to the forum and post a link to your hub with a brief description of what you wrote about and why. Take advantage of the free publicity!
If you are still not sure about what is a HubMob and the benefits of taking part in one I created this guide http://hubpages.com/hub/What-is-a-HubMo … o-join-one please feel free to come up with any questions if you have any doubts left.
That's really amazing. Simple Tim really rocks with 22 hubs on last week's category plus this week's topic "BODY ART" is also interesting and different. Nice topic you have chosen Princessa.
YOUR'E THE REAL STAR AROUND HERE PRINCESSA;) THANKS FOR THE GREAT TOPIC! AND ALL THE EFFORT THAT YOU AND SHIRLEY PUT INTO THE HUBMOBS!
I have four more hubs coming to end off the fantastic toy hubmob! so we will reach a record high of over 100 hubs for sure:)
That's really interesting as Simple Tim "the most prolific hubmobber ever" is going to cross the century in the last week's topic. Best of luck friend.
22 in a week, WOW! that is something! Congratulations Simple Tim.
Well here is my HubMob.

A few personal thoughts and images re tattoos
Congrats Simple Tim 22+ hubs in one week...My head is spinning...
Great topic, I'll be coming back with a hub or two for this week.
Congratulations for the record breaking Simple Tim
Hope you like it.
And wow Tim... Well done!
I did like it, I always like to read about other cultures.
Looks like Febriede & I will enlighten some of you.
Great hub by her once again.
Hello, Indonesia also has many traditional body arts. Check this out :

Hope you'll like it
To Simple Tim, congratulations! Really need a great effort to make all those hubs. Amazing!
This you have got to see to believe.
Not everyone's idea of art but to these ladies apparently it is.
Here's mine: Tattoos for Breast Cancer Survivors
http://hubpages.com/hub/Tattoos-for-Bre … -Survivors
I have a question concerning adult content. I know we can't do it, but are there any rules or guidelines anywhere?
I have a picture of a woman that is showing one breast with her areola tattooed and her fingers covering her nipples. I think it's tasteful, however, I am afraid HubPages might not like it.
So, I left it off my hub.
Any suggestions and or comments?
I had before and after photos in my breast augmentation hub. The photos were very medical the typical before and after pics taken but the hub was flagged, I had to unpublish it and remove the photos. After I removed the photos the hub was accepted for publication again.
I hope this helps!
Yes it helps Anath! I recalled reading one of your hubs in which you describe that you had to close the first couple of hubs you had written because it was review to have adult content. That's why I thought I better ask. Thanks for the response!
I also wrote a hub on mastectomy, breast surgery and used some pics but I have not been flagged because the pics are not totally nude at all.
So my idea is to prevent uploading these types of pics for any reason because prevention is better than cure.
I checked out your hubs and my picture would be alone the line of the ones that you have published. However, soni2006 you've been around for a while and have 300 great hubs so chances are "Big Brother" is not watching you as closely as they are us "newbies."
So I guess I will just leave the picture off and wait until I get more hubs... As Mom use to say, "When in doubt, leave it out."
Here is mine http://hubpages.com/hub/corset-piercing a painful pleasure
My second hub is http://hubpages.com/hub/Maori-Tattoo-De … re-You-Ink
Maori Tattoo Designs - Think Before You Ink
Once again not for everyone but very interesting history.
Imagine what we would look like when we reach 80 and we have our entire face tattooed?
As someone who's collected body art for over 20 years, I figured I'd just tell my story.
Here is mine. Some very cool stuff.
check it out.
Thanks for your thanks, Princessa and Simple Tim.
"Toys" set at least 2 precedents. One was Tim's incredible 22 hubs, the other is the 4 roundup hubs that it's going to take to put the more than 100 hubs into!
WAY TO GO, HUBMOBSTERS!!!
I still have to do the 4th from last week but I'm out of town, using someone else's computer and still doing my freelancing. I'm going to try and start it tomorrow afternoon or evening.
Meanwhile, it seems that you are all off to a great start on this new topic.

Well Princessa I humbly accept your previous compliment and say I guess you were right.
I was absolutely convinced I had no interest at all in this week's topic, and would just have a nice breather after last week's Toy HubMob. Then about Wednesday I got a possible idea. Now I have about 5 ideas and a stack of reading and research. My goal is to get 2 done by Monday.
I still have at least 4 ideas left over from the healthcare HM and the Toys HM. I love HubMob in so many ways!
I knew it... I knew you would find something to write about. You are incredible rmcrayne, way to go and all the best!
Rose Mary, if you decide to write those health care and toys hubs, just pop me an email to let me know they're here and I can add them to the HM hubs.
Looks like another fantastic topic Princessa!
Great job on the body art hubmob... hubbers!!
some pretty amazing stuff out there!
I finally got a chance to do the hub.
Body Art HubMob
What another fantastic week!
Have you had a look at Ryan's latest HubPages blog post?
A Record Week For The HubMob! (and a shout-out to Simple Tim, a HubMobster maniac)
I sure did Princessa!last week was an awesome topic!
Thanks Team Hubmob for the great work you do!
Well done fellow hubbers on reaching the record number of hubs!....
Team hubmob we may have started hubmob mania...perhaps will will reach 200 hubs in hubmobs to come;)
I think you're on to something Tim. We've got a great group of HubMob devotees.
But Princessa and Shirley would have to clone themselves! Or give up sleeping.
This is ture rmcrayne!I think Shirley may need a hubmob assistant soon;)
Can you see me nodding my head vigorously?
Thanks Princessa. I checked out the blog and left a comment.
I have my 1st Body Art topic done. Just waiting for natural sunlight to take pictures of my sister's tattoos
I am digesting lots of technical info for the 2nd one, on toxic effects. It's like mental aerobics
WOW, I think I've formerly been initiated into the club. I had to deny a comment on this week's hub because it was from a non-Hubber that had linked their name to an outside site.
Look out for comments from "Beam Chemotherapy" on your hubs, it is self advertisement which is stated plainly below the comments section that it is a no, go!
Don't worry Money Glitch there are plenty of self promoters out there some even post names like 'mommy of two' but link to a site selling the same product as the hub they comment on.
Some are flat out scoundrels. I got a comment to my Breast Cancer hub with a link. Yes against the rules. Clicking on the link or the sender name took me to a blog on big breasted women. The woman on the opening page had breasts as big as my head. This was when I learned that you can specify about comments in edit mode on each hub. I decided to restrict to registered users only to eliminate the possiblity that someone might link to a malicious site. I experienced such an event after someone hacked the site of a San Antonio business that serves those with breast cancer for compression garments, prostheses, wigs etc. The trojan/malware disabled my Spysweeper and Kaspersky. It took a couple weeks restoring, including research and having to bypass Windows with an external hard drive.
Oh my Simple Tim and rmcryane trying to "pimp" directly off of your hubs is just wrong. And rmcryane I too previously had restrictions placed on my comments because the person that informed me about HP had suggested that I do so. Needless to say, I'm glad I followed instructions... Thanks for the feedback.
Oops!...sorry Shirley..sorry about scaring you! I'm just excited that the hubmob is getting more participants each week!
Not a very clear picture but you are all there Anath(with 2 hubs), ethel, Shirley, Money Glitch, emievil, relache and chenmikehk. http://hubpages.com/topics/fashion-and- … body-art/3
Way to go HubMobsters!
Thanks it is exciting to have 2 hubs on the Tattos, piercing and BM page. I might just come with a third one if I manage to be on time.
wow, my first 15 minutes fame! thanks to hubmob.
Finally got to it this week. Research been sitting around for several days.
Complications of body piercing.
sorry to rain on the parade, but that is what happens as a parent...gotta think of the potential consequences
I just found 'HubMob Weekly Topic :: Online Earning'
Is it from original hubmob team ?
http://hubpages.com/question/24183/hubm … ne-earning
Interesting, and highly suspect. We can flag it for review by HubPages staff.
Official HubMob "questions" are asked by Princessa. New topic each Monday. The current HubMob thread is always at the top on the Hubbers Hangout forum.
Nop, never heard from Madurai. Thanks for the heads up Kevin.
