Steph - He won't be so skeptical once that 300 bucks (or more given your luck and the random draw) comes to your paypal.. LOL
Stacie - I'm going to be adjusting my focus to makin babies. Seriously.
GG- My DH does not believe this is real - the more I win, the more skeptical he gets. Yeah, right, he says today. And when are you going to get it?? LOL.... (like I said, a small LOL...)
But on a happier note... making babies?!?!?! That sounds like fun!!
Ha! Here, let me give you my paypal email.. we'll convince him it's not real.. hahah (really big haha!)
Seriously, though, I just noticed that, like, one person has posted a political hub.
Is this topic difficult, or is it just me?
LOL - You totally crack me up. I hate the topic. I just posted my first. I have one more idea. I may do a total of 3, if I'm lucky. Gotta go tuck the kids in (its that time, ya know). I'll tell hubby about your PayPal idea.
You gals that are at the top of the leader board - you GO!! Stay with it and keep hanging in. You can do it!! I am cheering for all of you!
It's a hard one.. :-( I have no ideas. I've written one, but I'm out on ideas. I need to figure something up b/c I know Stacie's going to pull out 10.
Hey, thanks, Steph.
I knew your were just jesting, gamergirl. Ha ha. Sorry, I just have the image in my head of you furiously typing away at the keyboard right at deadline. I know because I've been there! And I have my bratty moments, too.
Steph, wait until your demons become teenagers!
Making babies, really, Gamergirl? What a way to end a contest! Good luck with that! And yes, this is the worst topic yet.
Yeah, I finished up that Caveman Technology hub right at deadline, but I guess it didn't get counted, otherwise I'd have had 131 points by my count.
I'm only doing one hub for today's topic, I've put my foot down. I took Monday off of work, and really don't need to get in trouble on my first day back after calling out sick. Hopefully Tuesday's clue will go better, and who knows, maybe one of us who only gets a hub or two in will be the lucky 100 dollar prize winner. heh Who am I kidding, it'll be miss moneybags Steph.
Good luck everyone, and just think, a couple more days and we're done with the contest, and then I can pass my shipping address to Stacie or Whitney so they can mail me that Canon camera.. oh no, I better run now! hahah!!
LOL - GG, "Miss Moneybags Steph" is going to bed. I can't even get into my second hub. So, I may only publish 2, because I have to go to work in the morning. I don't want to jinx it, but I have a feeling that you'll be a daily winner. I was going to say that earlier today, but.... will I jinx it?? I don't want to be superstitious!! I'm off to bed. Exhausted. 30 days is too long for this contest.
You are all so funny.
Maybe things haven't been published because we all keep getting errors when we try to publish! Argh. It just happened again.
Making babies?
That sounds fun. Exciting.
Great job Ladies. You're all just amazing to get so many super hubs out on time. I'm having a hard time just reading them all. I haven't picked up a book in days...best of luck to you all. Zsuzsy
I'm actually kinda glad I didn't write about what I started to write about, now that I see Whitney's hub.. there really aren't too many ways to tackle Gay rights from a political standpoint.
Today's topic is teh hard.
Oh well! One hub for me, four days left to go. Let's make 'em last ladies!
Hey all,
LOTS of really interesting entries today. Had to pick only 5, so I've chosen 5 that I think are interesting, and useful (especially if you're preparing a paper on the subject!):
1. Negative Political Advertisements by stephhicks68
2. Running Low Budget Campaigns by Stacie Naczelnik
3. Religion And Politics by Inspirepub
4. Dalai Lama - Politics and Religion by Patty Inglish, MS
5. History of Women And The Right To Vote - Mormonism Won That Victory FIRST In Utah! by LdsNana-AskMormon
Pixelhead (who's also a Hubber) will be today's judge. Will see you in an hour!
Oh my gosh! I am in shock!
That was a scary hub to write:-) Thank you.
Kathryn
Hey, Hubpages, I hate writing about technological gadgets. Can I write about cartoon Gadgets- i.e., Inspector Gadget and Gadget from Rescue Rangers and still get credit for the contest? This is more up my alley.
I'm guessing I'm going to get a 'no' answer, but I'm giving it a try.
Angela - Well, I suppose so, but please focus on the actual gadgets. "The Gadgets of Inspector Gadget", "The Gadgets of the Rescue Rangers' Gadget" might require a bit of research but should make for some interesting, evergreen Hubs.
BEST HUB
----------------
Ok, Pixelhead has judged, and here's what he has chosen:
Congratulations to Stacie, who wins an additional 15 pts, and jdnyc for being the first to guess "politics" yesterday. Kudos also go out to Patty for her runner-up win.
The scoreboard and leaderboard have been updated, and Stacie Naczelnik grows her lead to 325 points!
DAILY DRAWING
-------------------------
The winner of the random daily drawing for $100 is:
jdnyc!
...who was, coincidentally, the clue bonus winner. (Those 3 points count, too!)
Congratulations, everyone!
Stacie's campaing hubs were great!
And I just barely found this forum today... and it looks like I won! How exactly does that work?
I was wondering where the winners were being posted!
JDNYC
BEST HUB
----------------
Ok, Pixelhead has judged, and here's what he has chosen:
jdnyc: So glad you found the forums! You did win the $100 drawing, congratulations. At the end of the contest, hubpages will have you fill out some paperwork. Then it will be paid by paypal. Have fun with your winnings!
From the HubLove Rules:
Additionally, a winner of a $100 cash-equivalent prize will be given for the winner of a random drawing held during the final 10 days of the contest (March 6 through March 15). Each eligible point counts as an eligible entry into the drawing. The winner will be paid at the conclusion of the contest via PayPal, after confirmation of eligibility. Winner must have a functional PayPal account, and will be responsible for any and all fees and taxes associated with the cash transfer.
Wow! Great work everyone! Stacie... unbelievable. Patty, congrats on a super second place Hub. jdnyc - thanks for helping us figure out the clue and win the prize $$
Hubpages... are you as exhausted as we are??
Definitely! I have different challenges, but you guys are really motoring with some fantastic Hubs. I really hope they'll earn you AdSense revenue for years to come.
I'm coming up with the final clues now so this is fun!
- Jason
Hey, thanks for the runner up position! I really liked writing that Hub.
Congratulations to Stacie with 3,000,000 points. LOL LOL
Congratulations to both of you.
It is a privilege to stand next to you, if only for a brief moment. All such talented writers here on HP.

Congratulations JDNYC on your $100 win!
That must have come as quite a surprise!
And welcome to the forum.
Hey everyone,
Congrats to Stacie for getting the clue before I posted the 5 finalists - that hasn't happened in a while. (Am I making these final clues too easy?)
At any rate, here are today's 5 gadget-themed finalist entries:
1. Strange Odd Weird USB Gadgets by LiamBean
2. High- Tech Gadgets for Dogs by Whitney05
3. A Short History of the Can Opener by Chuck
4. Wine Openers by stephhicks68
5. Solar Gadgets by gamergirl
They will be judged by Chris Comella, from Chrisco.us, the host for yesterday's clue.
See you in an hour!
gamergirl! you crack me up. but yes, my fingers are crossed for you!
Best of luck to everyone! And, Charlotte, to you as well!
Hey, I have to make up for all my meanness by being cute and funny.
I'm pulling for you, Gamergirl, but in all fairness, to everyone else as well. I read all of the hubs and they are awesome.
They are! That's what makes every day so hard. To even come up in the top five, it's great. There are a lot of days I thought I should've been up there, but that's my own biased opinion. I love my own work.. LOL
Gamergirl, I know I wouldn't want to be a judge. I would hold up the contest trying to choose a winner.
I don't know how Jason does it, picking the top five every day. That's got to be the worst part of it, I think. I hope he gets a vacation after this contest is over.. LOL
Ha ha - yes, I'm going to need one, gamergirl. It's fun but exhausting reading through all the Hubs. I feel sometimes like I'm cramming for finals. :-)
BEST HUB JUDGING
-----------------------------
Here's what Chris chose:
Congratulations to Whitney05 for winning the day's best Hub (15 pts) and to Stacie Naczelnik for winning yesterday's clue bonus of 3 pts for guessing "gadget" first. Kudos also to gamergirl for winning the runner-up best Hub.
The leaderboard & scoreboard have been updated, and Stacie Naczelnik maintains her commanding lead with 352 pts!
DAILY DRAWING
------------------------
The winner of $100 from the random drawing among all eligible points is....
In the Doghouse!
Congratulations!
Looking forward to reading the 'environment' Hubs tomorrow!
Great job everyone! Congrats!!! GG, did I cross too many fingers?
Don't be sad - see how many extra Hubs you've written during the contest!
Congratulations. I really like solar gadgets, too.
Me too. I've actually got solar lights on order for my front yard so my roommate can stop leaving the double flood lights on all day long.
Yes! That worked for us and I love the glow at night.
I've made a blog post about the impending closure to the HubLove competition here.
Very cool way to do the judging Darkside! I'm excited to see who will win this!
Wow! What an exciting day, lunch with a friend and winning the drawing. Now I ask, does it get any better than this? Too cool! Thanks HUB pages for the gift.
Congratulations Doghouse!
I hope that you paid for that lunch today.... big spender:-) LOL
You worked hard for the money, eh?
Kathryn
Congratulations for the top gadget winners too! Rock on:-)

Very cool way to judge. I'd like to mention that on a computer screen post-its are pretty see through. I'd add a few post- its. ;-)
By the way I just tested with a blue post-it and I could still see the profile picture
