I want to add that today probably would have been the day to publish 10 on the clue, as it seems not many people participated, so the odds would be in your favor for the $100. Pooh. Hopefully 1 will be enough. Ha
You did a great job Whitney throughout the contest!! As far as the $100, I am crossing my fingers too...
Whitney, woohoo! Dare I say this may be my lucky day? I made 7 hubs. It's my birthday. All of the top 5 but me have already won, I think. Is this it? I'm knocking on wood, rubbing my fake rabbit's foot, looking for pennies and four leaf clovers, you name it.
Happy Birthday Angela! Today is my birthday too, so I know its a lucky day
Best of luck!
Thanks so much, Amy Jane.
Active tornadoes here, so I'm not going to be on the computer for awhile.
Good luck to everyone. It has been fun.
Amy Jane, Happy Birthday! Sorry, the tornadoes have me shaken up a bit. There was one last night as well.
Complete withdrawal! My entire days have circulated around this hour! Now what??
I too first thought.... what is the clue today? And then, BAM!
Congratulations to everyone for being winners! And of course to the royal queen and her court...
Amazing work:-)
Write-On!
Hey everyone,
Yes, I have to admit it's weird without that noon clue. At 11:45 I was walking back from brunch, instead of queuing up 6 browser windows to fire off at the same time 15 minutes later.
At any rate, there were about 25 eligible entries - almost everyone took a bit of a breather, which is cool. After a month of hard work you've got to take a breather.
Still, there was some great stuff published - here are my final 5 finalist choices. Good luck to jimmythejock (who owns a freestyle disco site called YourTheDancer.com) who will have to choose the final best-Hub winner:
1. Designer Jeans for Moms by stephhicks68
2. Where to Find Video Game Reviews by Whitney05
3. Review of retail store return policies by MarloByDesign
4. Black Book - A Movie Review by Chuck
5. Who Makes the Best French Fries by Angela Harris
See you in about an hour!
- Jason
Hello everyone,
The final announcement of this kind!
BEST HUB
----------------
Here's what jimmythejock has to say:
With that, the final tally has been put together, and we have a winner for the contest!
With an astounding 400 pts, the winner of the Killer Hubbing and Blogging Package is Stacie Naczelnik!!!
The leaderboard includes everyone with at least 10 pts, and the scoreboard, everyone with at least 1 pt contributed. So even those who didn't win will get a little linkjuice through the contest page, which has plenty of links going to it, some of you twice (by appearing on both boards).
DAILY DRAWING
-------------------------
Today's (final) winner of the $100 random drawing is:
kjscrafts!
Congratulation to the final winner!
All winners: Look for an email from me on Monday with an affidavit which I will need from you in order to send you your prizes.
I'll put a link to a "recap" and some advice on what to do to track and make the most of all the Hubs you've written as part of this contest this coming week.
Thanks, everyone!
Congrats Stacie.
Great job everyone. Thanks HP. It was a blast.
WELL DONE: Stacie, your hard work and commitment to this contest, paid off, you are a deserved winner and you should be proud of your achievement......jimmy

Hey - congrats Stacies and to everyone. HP (Jason) this was sooo much fun!! We will miss it a lot. Although this afternoon was kind of strange getting back to real life. Have a great weekend everyone! Steph
Congrats Stacie! We all pretty much called it a couple weeks ago, but with dedication, five thousand dollars worth of stuff is yours.
Congrats to everyone who worked so hard this entire contest.. I know it's going to be nice not to have to worry about how many hubs I need to write to stick around in the top five.. LOL
Congratulations to all the winners. It has been great to be able to read so many awesome HUBS. Thank you to HUBPAGES for providing a way for these talented writers to have a little fun and earn some additional traffic. It was quite an experience to say the least.
Well done Stacie! Its been an interesting contest even for those of us who weren't eligible to win - it got me writing on topics I'd never have thought of
Congratulations to Stacie. Well done!
And there's a shame there isn't a second place prize. Whitney was also outstanding in her output of quality and her stamina in making Stacie fight so hard for the win.
Definitely agreed darkside. ;-)
I've decided that it's going to be hard to get back on a regular hub writing idea bank with my ideas coming from a topic generator called the HubLove contest clue page.
I just got home from a day long conference, and then a mad rush to my uncle's surprise birthday party. What a day!
It has been so fabulous participating in this contest. I'm going to miss the challenge, and hope the communication we've established continues...but, I'm looking forward to sleeping in! Heck, I'm looking forward to sleeping.
Whitney, you will always be on my radar for inspiration. I never would have done this without you. It is weird, but you really challenged me.
Congrats, Stacie! Well deserved.
I didn't take part in the contest because (a) I wasn't eligible and (b) I'm working full-time right now and just couldn't make the time - but I'm exhausted anyway, keeping up with reading all the Hubs from all you prolific writers! My email is going to seem awfully quiet when you all get back to normal.
Congratulations, Stacie. Sorry for the belated well wishes. And Whitney, you put up one heck of a fight.
Happy Belated birthday, Angela! Hope it was a great one! -Steph
Congrats Stacie! Super job. Whitney great effort-plus-plus. But I think that all contributors should be really proud of all their great hubs. What an amazing bunch of good reads for the past month.
I'd also like to mention that in my opinion Jason and the rest of the gang at Hub Central have done a tremendous job organizing this contest. zs
