Nice hubs, guys. My streak of pouting cutely over here is almost over, isn't that exciting? LOL
Congrats guys! :-)
I had a weird feeling that hub would be picked, or rather I had hoped. I thought it was different enough.
Good work:-) Congratulations all!

Hey all,
As the 2nd-to-last-clue is still being worked on, I have 2 daily announcements:
BEST HUB JUDGING
------------------------------
Mark Knowles, today's guest judge, has this to say:
Congratulations to kerryg, the best Hub winner, who gets 15 bonus pts, and Stacie Naczelnik, the clue bonus winner who wins 3 bonus pts. Kudos to Stacie as well for winning the runner-up prize.
The leaderboard & scoreboard have been updated - Stacie Naczelnik continues her commanding lead with 385 pts!
DAILY DRAWING
-------------------------
A total of 135 points (and, therefore, entries), but only one winner of $100. That person is:
gamergirl!
Congratulations for winning today's random drawing of $100!
See you here tomorrow, when darkside will be our guest judge, and the day after, the final day, when jimmythejock will be our final guest judge.
woooo!!!!!!! MY TURN FOR YAYYY!
I think that's karma giving me kudos.. I just paid an acquaintance's electric bill so he wouldn't have to lose his heat and refridgerator full of food. I told him I'd pay 100 bucks of it for him..
SPOOKY!
Didn't I TELL you I had a feeling, Charlotte!!! Oh, I am almost more excited for your win than mine!!! Congrats! And a big congrats to kerryg for the winning Hub and Stacie for 2nd place!
Congratulations to everybody, of course, but Charlotte, way to go!!! And I don't begrudge you the 100 bucks at all.
It's nice to know that it went to such a good-hearted person. But I agree that's a little spooky. Looks like I'm going to have to earn some karma points, obviously.
Out of curiosity... are non-US residents eligible for the $100 random bonus?
Congrats Kerryg and Stacie!
Gamergirl, you have totally earned that cash, I'm glad you won
Congratulations kerryg!
And, a huge YEA! for Charlotte.
Whee! Great job today everyone! So how 'bout finance, huh? Sheesh.
Think they'd accept a hub about financial bondage, or would that be too far into the 'adult' category?
Hmmmmm.... depends on how you package it. You may be just the one to do it! I'm waiting...
Very formal, actually.. the way it's shaping up it's quite matter of fact - kind of like how I tried to deal with Ecoterrorists (though I draw NO correlation between MoneyDommes and EcoTerrorists.. >.>)
Well, it's up. I checked all the rules and everything and made sure that it wasn't sexually explicit, it doesn't link to pornography, or anything like that. Here's to hoping it's not too far out of bounds. lol
Charlotte, I liked the hub. A different take is always good. Plus, it was interesting.
Oh my God, this is the last day - what are you all going to do with your free time? Is anyone sad it is over? I enjoyed reading so many great hubs and enjoyed *meeting* some great people.
What am I going to do at 3pm EST everyday? LOL.
I'm going to try and continue to post one hub every day. I think, over the course of the contest, that my 'earnings' have about tripled, so I think it may be a good idea to keep creating new content on a regular basis.
I've learned a bit about the site, about challenging myself, and about writing in general, and after today I'm going to take a nice long nap.
I hope today's hubclue is something easy to write about, I want to pull out as many hubs as possible on this last topic, go out with a bang and all that good stuff.
I also hope Stacie and Whitney take a nice vacation, they've definitely earned it!
gamergirl, by the way, congratulations on your $100 win! You are so lucky. My earnings on Hubpages are still dismal, but at least I referred one person! That was exciting for me.
I will learn from you and keep writing, and hopefully see my earnings increase and keep challenging myself too - good point.
And I was so impressed with Stacie and Whitney and the amount of hubs they publish *whew*, I just wish they both could both win (or split the prize). For the second place winner, I hope they get something.
Marlo and Charlotte - gosh, this is so funny. I'm working and gotta go to HubPages for a break, and ya know... I'm gonna be sad without a clue each day and a new challenge! What to do... what to do..... "Fortunately" there is another contest coming up soon. But I've really become addicted (even more so) to the whole pace and frenzy of this one!
Its been fun! The top contenders in particular have worked their tushies off, and done some tremendous hubs! Congrats to Stacie and Whitney!! All the top 5ers deserve huge pats on the back. I've enjoyed reading some quality hubs and have learned sooooo much!
So. Back to regular life. Like gamergirl, I'll try to keep doing one every day or so. I can't believe I'm close to 100 hubs now!! WOW!
Oh - and I meant the top 5ers of the daily challenges! (not just the top five in the contest!!)
It will be so weird without the contest...I mean, it has been an entire month! Non-stop. Daily.
I finally faced my work situation at my "real" job...er...um...yeah. I've really let things pile up. I am very organized, and made sure important stuff was completed, and all of my stuff is organized into different "to do" files, but I never have this much in my "to do" files! Eek.
I will miss this contest, because it has brought us all a little closer and highlighted the community spirit shared by all of us, it has brought a lot of great new Hubbers to the site and it has been so much fun, I hope the April contest will be as much fun and a succesful as this one, good luck everyone and even if you didn't win anything this has been one of those occasions that taking part was worth it..........jimmy
Yes, indeed! I was just talking to a future hubber a few days ago and showing her the site from my computer. I said, well, this contest is ending, but a new one in April, so sign up, get organized and familiar with HubPages, then you're ready to roll next month!
Not really. And I really wanted to participate today too.
It's very easy to fall in love w/HP even without a contest, although they sure are fun.
Hey everyone,
So here are the finalists that darkside is judging - as you might have remembered from the last time he judged, he provides excellent feedback, so I hope the five finalists enjoy the wisdom he'll share on these 5 Hubs:
1. Can you afford a vineyard? Can you finance a wine-making operation? by mroconnell
2. Accounting – The Language of Finance by Chuck
3. Websites that Teach Kids About Money by Marye Audet
4. Use your credit card for all purchases by MarloByDesign
5. Tax Tips for Seniors by Stacie Naczelnik
I'll be back in an hour with darkside's selections, an update to the point tally, and the winner of the $100 random daily drawing!
And enjoy reviewing things - products, movies, books, services, sites - whatever you like and want to share your opinion about, as your last batch of HubLove contest Hubs!
And gamergirl - I think your "Financial Domination" Hub was an interesting take, although Google doesn't seem to like it. It's not serving ads on it.
(They tend to have a list of "poison words" that, upon detection, result in no ads being served onto the page. My guess is either dom, domme, or BDSM might have been the triggers.)
Thank you, I am doing a *happy dance* - first time I made it to the Top 5! (Not a new thing for you, Stacie, but it is a good feeling.)
Eh, I don't mind so much the lack of ads, I figured Google might not have much to offer it. Was it ok for the contest, though?
Hey that's alright. Traffic is traffic, if they like what I write then maybe they'll read more of my hubs, all but two having ads on them.
If not, then they still learned something.. hehe
Thanks Jason! You're awesome.
darkside will be reviewing them a bit later today. Sorry, I think because of the change to DST here, we are now an hour ahead more than last time when darkside judged.
We'll have his choices in an hour.
Hi all,
The two announcements for the day:
BEST HUB
darkside posted his full review here.
Congratulations MarloByDesign, who wins a 15 pt bonus, and Peter M. Lopez who wins the 3 pt clue bonus for the day. Kudos also go to mroconnell for a runner-up win.
The scoreboard & leaderboard have been updated, and Stacie Naczelnik, who has maintained a strong lead for most of the contest, continues that, with a staggering 397 points!
DAILY DRAWING
The $100 random daily prize winner is...
Stacie Naczelnik
Congratulations, Stacie!
Thanks, everyone, and we'll see you here tomorrow for the FINAL judging by jimmythejock, and the awarding of the Killer Hubbing and Blogging Package (we pretty much know who's going to win that, but let's all congratulate her together for her fine work and stamina!)
Dang Stacie, you won the contest AND like 500 bucks.. how cool is that?! Way to go!!
Woo hooo! Congrats everyone! Some really great hubs again. Stacie's hosting the party tomorrow night. I'm driving up from Oregon.
Wow.
Congratulations to Marlo--not only top 5, but best hub! WTG Peter on the runner up.
Thank you so much Stacie, my first time winning anything on Hubpages!
Darkside, thank you for picking my hub. When many people discuss credit cards, they speak of credit card debt, reduce your spending, etc. - am I am telling readers to use them more! Definitely an original concept. Thank you so very much! I read your blog (nice!) and I hope your wife appreciates the pointers.
I would love to read comments from Hubbers on my hub.
You are all so awesome... great work:-) It has been inspiring to watch the pros in action here!

It will be so strange not to meet at noon for the clue. But I would have missed it today anyway. I'm off to a conference - no internet, no computer! Hope all of you hublovers catch up on sleep and other stuff today!
I was just checking which hubs are in the "reviews" tag category and to make sure mine was posted and tagged properly, and it seems like there is a problem. The ones that are showing up do not have "reviews" in the tag, but "review" and I know stephhicks68 published one tagged "reviews" and I did not see hers show up either.
Oh, after I searched, then I clicked 'New".
Can anyone verify this for me? Thanks.
Hmmmm - I published two tagged reviews. I will double check. Thanks Marlo
When searching in the search box, it doesn't seach by tag. I asked that a while back in the contest. Even though I stil try it, you'll get hubs that don't even use the word. I'm not sure how you're searching, but the search box doesn't search by tag, but topic. If you're searching via a tag cloud, then I don't know.
Thanks Whitney! That was really helpful - I was using the search box, thinking it was seaching by tag. You have cleared up my issue for me! I am just not sure how to search by tag...
I slept for 12 hours last night, I kid you not. I don't know how many hubs I'll have done prior to the deadline, but it's not going to be nearly as many as I'd hoped.
Congratulations Stacie!
Will there be another contest in the near future. That way I can plan for it
I tagged mine review and reviews to be safe, but has there been any word from HP?
I want to say that Paul posted a link somewhere in this thread, but I haven't wanted so search al these pages for it. I think that it's the tag link for a specific tag, but I don't see why you couldn't put in a different word in the URL to search for that tag.
Congratulations to all who won so much in this good contest. See, you CAN make money writing.
Together we won money, friends, fans, information, education, conversation, Hub Traffic and several other good things.
Cheers!
So, no more guessing the clue today - just waiting to see the 5 finalists, winner of the $100 drawing, and grand finale winner?
It feels so odd not to log on and wait for a clue. Ha.
I want to congratulate everyone who has participated in the contest. I think everyone did a marvelous job.
I wonder how many hubs there were for today. I haven't seen many. I figure everyone's given up because we know that Stacie won. Ha. Even she only did 1.
For me, this was a completely personal goal - to finish something that I started - which was an exercise in learning to be a better writer... sigh. I made it to the end and for a lot of us... publishing today was a principle of work.
I published for the contest everyday, but was disqualified on one of those days... pets - my tag said pet! Oh well, it was personal for me and that is what has counted.
I have learned so much and have a new respect for what these top Hubbers do consistently... and brilliantly I might add:-)
Write On!
Oh my goodness, i have withdrawal symptoms, WHERE IS MY CLUE? AAAAAAAAARGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!! LOL.....JIMMY
its like saying goodbye to an old friend.
Jimmy, you were so much fun during the clues. I will miss that.
