As some hubbers know this pic has a reason. The other day ,in a thread we were discussing if women with almost no clothes on, on an avatar, will attract traffic. And I said I will give it a try, putting a pic of myself and see what happens. Well I must say that it works ! All my hubs have red arrows. Some even double red arrows! LOL And I got some new fans as well. So, I think if someone needs traffic ,he/she can put some half naked woman for an avatar. If I got all this traffic with my old self, imagine what an Angelina Jolie or another of those sexy stars can do ! Give it a try !
dont you remember when I was "pink bumpers"? waaaaay more traffic, fans, emails....but its all fake and since im not here for money im not too worried about views. but if its working for you, congrats!!!! shake yer money maker..
By the way. personally I might click it if i thought it was you bit if it obviously was not i wouldn't care. Then again, you're talking to the guy who saw his hubscore go from 89 to 50 something because of exposed nipples and asses so maybe i am jaded.
Yes, I know no exposed definitely female nipples except on statues but not on other art such as comics or album covers . . .yeah I learned the hard way when someone looking to start trouble for me flagged a bunch of my hubs. I have had two dozen hubs flagged --some for stupid reasons--technical stuff. I know your nipples arent exposed. You could spray paint them though n it would be okay. Asscrack I can get away with if its not a totally bare ass. I'll get back up there someday even if i don't i know what kind of writer I am hell, i've been getting paid to write sincfe I was 19 and published since i was 17 still it is annoying when you get below 75 n that somehow cuts off the circulation of your hubs in some way
OK, so I'm now confused w/ all the jokes. Is this your current real photo? (a good looking guy, too.) Because I thought you posted one with blond/brown hair and a beard. Wouldn't have known you were 42, either, from that.
The other photo I posted a while back was my current photo. This one is from the archive of my youth (about 31).
I decided to go with it for an avatar as I wanted a pic with me wearing a suit (to appear more professional) and I haven't wore a suit for the past 8 years.
Personally, I think the photo edges on making me look stuck-up and obnoxious (which I honestly believe I was back then), but my current photo makes me look too old for my liking (funny to hear a guy say that, eh?).
I don't mind getting older ... I just want to relive my youth a bit longer before I finally surrender totally to the concept, which I suppose is the ultimate reality to going with a younger pic of myself versus my current one.
hmmm ... is psychoanalyzing one's own motives a sign of insanity?
All right I have to cruise through my pics to find one of me that could remotely be sexy lmao. but I have to do it later. gonna run peeps. Oh and tantrum...email me and remind me that I need to find a sexy pic lmao by peeps
I was wondering if the use of an avatar rather than a personal pic. makes a difference in dollars and cents? That whole a face to trust thing. Has anyone ever tried to see if it does? If so would you share what you learned?
I'm considering changing my profile picture because I want to be more professional but I don't know. What are your thoughts? I know many people have changed their pictures to resemble what their hubs are and I want to make sure my readers and fans know clearly what I write about most often and what...
I have a large Facebook group that wants to feature my article - a real coup for me - but they do not like the pic that appears with it, which is always the first pic in the article itself, right? I deleted the pic they don't like from my article, and replaced it with a new pic, but when I share it...
