   Thanks Mega! I needed a laugh.
   
   Stuck late at work tonight, and then, stuck period for a while.  I'm considered "essential staff," so, rather than let me go home to my own cozy bed tonight, I'll be put up at a hotel, and then shuttled back in tomorrow morning at 6:30am.  Wish I had a laptop so I could chat w/ you all while I'm there.  I'll be all by my lonesome for the first time in a while.
   
   A quiet nite will be nice, but I'll miss my little boys.  One of them is teething too, and may be running a slight fever.  Dad will be great with them, I know, but I wish I could be there to help.
   
   There, done with that... feeling a little whiny and needed to get it out of my system.

    Morning tribers.  Pretty much snowed in here at work.  1-2 inches an hour coming down outside.  I'm hoping to get home tonight... I had to stay at a hotel near work last night so I could get in this morning... and I miss the family.  Also had no computer or laptop for the hotel room, so I couldn't even check in with my Tribers.
    
    Anyhoo... I've got the fire roaring and a big ol' thermos of hot chocolate for anyone whose thirsty.

    I heard the first bird of spring this morning! It's amazing since it's -25C out, sunny and freezing.  How do those little birds stay warm when I'm freezing inside my home????

    Morning Beth! I don't so much mind being at work now, I just want to get home tonight, and I might not be able to.  My littlest has a fever, and I just want to be there to help take care of him.  (Dad's doing just fine, I know, but I just wish I was around to help.)  I already had to be away last night, and I don't think I've ever been away from my kiddos for more than 1 night... especially when one is sick.

    I understand Thoughtful.  It's really hard to be away when they need mommy's comforting hands.  I know that dad's do a great job too, but it's a "mom" thing.    Hope that the weather has a turn around for you today and wishing your littlest some health to overcome what is ailing him.

                surely you noticed my avatar today -  today I AM the devil!  No one even believes me!  it happened overnight, from sweet little baby to devil woman.  Started I think with flushing my little dolly down the toilet when no one would talk to me.   So, for today only, I will fulfill your wildest dreams - but there will be a trade off, of course!  Muuuuaaaah ha ha ha!

    I saw the Temptations in person at a very small concert at Northwestern U when I was about 17, I sat right down in front and they looked right at me when they sang half the songs!  What a thrill!

          Its in Evanston actually, but on Chicago's north border.  I wanted to go to school there, but it was expensive and I didn't get my fusty old parents' approval - but I still, literally, dream about it!
