I'm here. Went to the skatepark. There are some young kids I am teaching how to skateboard. I have been doing it since I was 10 years old. I don't compete anymore but I can still pull air and do other tricks. Tweeked my ankle so I am sitting here icing it.

Shower's about the only place I sing anymore... well, around the house to my little guys too. I used to sing quite a bit. Voice training and everything. I miss it, but just don't have much time these days. I hope to get back to it some day though. One step at a time I suppose... getting back to writing was my first step at reclaiming a little bit of my creative side.

so now that everyone else has taken you at your word and given up on you, hokey, I'm gonna perservere! Cuz perserverance furthers (it says so in the Tai Chi, and other places, as well) Marriage doesn't solve anything, and cyber-marriage would probably be fun, but chancey, since we'd have to make up the rules as we go along. I mean who knows how to do any kind of marriage. Also, my friends think that if you're 35 or 36 or whatever and never been married that right there says a lot! ! !
still, I would like to just keep talking about cyber marriage, and see what we come up with!

  I think I'm done starting threads for awhile. Ever since Dave died I just haven't felt the same. I know I put up a good front but that is what I have always done when I don't feel good. My heart is broken. I think I am going to leave the forums behind.

  Hokey, my friend, I understand. We all put up a good front. I feel your pain. You've suffered a great loss....it hurts now, but it won't always hurt this bad. I've been putting on a front, too. My heart is aching also. So we have 2 aching hearts who acknowledge each other's pain. Plus more aching hearts which makes it a group. A group of kindred spirits who need support and love from one another. You are valued and loved! The support of the forums is therapeutic for you now. I hope you will allow me, and others, to continue to aid you in your healing. Remember, you aren't alone.

Faybe and Pinky, I really understand what you're going through..... but please don't let this get to you or ruin your experience at HP.

When I first joined here, we had the same thing with other hubbers......people who you grow attached to and then one day they just leave! And all that hits you in that moment is an intense feeling of helplessness.... and the sad reality to these internet 'connections': so easy to form, but then so intangible at the same time!

All I can say is just hang in there...channelize it all into writing...and keep hoping for the best......

  this is true MOW I have grown friendships and lost them on the net my whole life of being internet active so i am used to it and therefor dont get to attached however it is inevitable to get attached to people and become worried about them.
  
  i love my friends here and on my other sites but i know one day i may log in and they wont be there... nothing i can do about it but hope for the best and wish them luck

Thank you MOW, I missed this, I am writing a memorial to those I have lost here. I know that sounds crazy, nuts even, but it's how I cope. He isn't writing me back. He had written a new poem I really liked, I read it three times! I was worried, maybe he didn't like the comment.

Thanks Pinky, I know it's not my fault, but the tears won't stop.

Real life is calling, and the tears won't stop.

I'll be better tomorrow. Maybe I'll make a drink or two and write something really good.

Whoa. I'm shocked. I noticed that his pic was gone, and I came back here thinking there was some sort of mischief going on in typical style. To see that he's left makes me very sad. I'd just gotten to know Hokey recently. A shameless flirt, but a friend as well.

I'll miss you Hokey. But, I hope that wherever life is taking you, its a healing path.
