Hello Hubbers, I want to thank all of you who took part in last week’s Mexican HubMob, we had a colourful week with hubs ranging from recipes to historic accounts.  Thank you one more week for making the weekly HubMob possible.

Now it is time to change topics.  This week we are going to be Hubbing about having a baby.  Last night I was at a party where unusually the conversation was geared to having children.  The conversation left me thinking that, although having a baby is not a topic that we often discuss, it is a fact that worries most women regardless of their age.  Much to my surprise, as I discovered last night, it is also a topic that worries most men who, regardless of their age and civil status, also have very set opinions about becoming a father.  I hope the topic also interests you as there is plenty of scope to write about having babies and it is a topic that never goes out of fashion.

Some ideas for a HubMob Hub about having a baby are:
    Fertility
    Planning for pregnancy
    Early pregnancy signs
    Maternity clothes
    Childbirth
    Birthing choices
    Pregnancy tests
    Postnatal
    Sexuality during pregnancy
    Hormonal changes during pregnancy
    Pregnancy after your 40s
    Pregnancy before your 20s
    Nutrition during pregnancy
Reasons to have a big family
Reasons NOT to have a baby
    Infertility treatments
    Cost of having baby

To join this week's HubMob please follow the steps below:

    1. YOU MUST START YOUR HUB CLICKING THIS LINK.  Choose the Answer the Request green button.  Choose the MAKE A HUB ABOUT IT option.

    2. Choose a relevant title for your Hub to get a good ranking in the search engines.

    3. Include the HubMob RSS Feed in your hub: http://hubpages.com/question/47450/hubm … ew&rss For more information on how to add the RSS feed to your hub you can click here

    4. Add the HubMob graphic below to your hub so that everyone who reads it will know that it is part of the official HubMob topic of the week.

    http://i43.tinypic.com/rup3mg.jpg

    5. After you publish your HubMob Hub, come back to the forum and post a link to your hub with a brief description of what you wrote about and why.  Take advantage of the free publicity!

If you are still not sure about what is a HubMob and the benefits of taking part in one I created this guide http://hubpages.com/hub/What-is-a-HubMo … o-join-one  please feel free to come up with any questions if you have any doubts left.

can this topic be about the upcoming film called "Babies?"  You see, I found out a few months ago there was this documentary coming out about human babies, so i was going to write a film review on it when it came out.  what i would like to know is two things.  one, can i make my review of the documentary part of this hubpages topic?  And if so, will this topic run into and after Mother's Day?  The reason I asked the second question is because that's when the documentary comes out, and I hate submitting late stuff to be honest.  lol.  That's why I never delivered on my Christian Bale hub because I didn't get it done in time.  lol.

      1. Princessa profile image77
Princessaposted 14 years agoin reply to this

Hi, yes you can do a film review if it is about babies.
Just make sure -for your own benefit- to change the category for your hub to another one more appropiate to your content.  I'll be looking forwards to that review smile

I am not sure what you mean on your second question...
The topic lasts for a week, from Monday to Monday.  But because the topic is evergreen it will last for a long long time.  Also, I leave the question open so you can add a hub on a topic at any given moment.

        I hope these helped.

thanks princessa.  i appreciate that, and yes your entire post answered both my questions perfectly.  i hope you enjoy reading the review as it looks like a good documentary from what i've been told.

I could be wrong, but here's my take...

I wouldn't call the hubber misguided, just not fully aware of our ways here at HubMob.  If you're in the RSS feed, you're HubMob.  The hub you refer to is about having babies, and it was started from Princessa's link, and is therefore in the HubMob.

The hub was short, and did not have the HubMob graphic or a HM RSS capsule, but we don't scrutinize other hubs for these things.

I pull from the RSS for the roundup hub.  If someone like the hubber you refer to does not come back and post here, they will still be in the roundup because they are in the feed.

If a hubber writes a hub, not started from Princessa's link, and therefore not in the RSS, they will not be in the roundup.  Posting in this forum thread is not a determining factor. For just about every HubMob, someone just published a hub on the topic a few days or few weeks ago, or they just forgot to start from the HM link, and want to know if it can be included in the HubMob.  The answer is always no.

You are correct that there are only 2 hubs in the feed.  That suggests that the other hubbers who posted here did not start from the link, or there are technical difficulties.  barry and elayne’s hubs are currently showing as “no longer published”.  I’m assuming they either unpublished for editing for whatever reason, or they realized they committed boo-boo, and did not start from the link, and are now remedying the situation.
