I'm stoked because I just realized I passed the payout minimimum - I've almost been here a year and have learned so much (with much more to go). Thanks Hubpages for all the education, and being an outlet for my thoughts.
I feel like the double traffic came when the hub team installed the suggest link button. I have a hub karma of 95 and keep trying to link to quality hubs. I feel it has made a difference. Thanks for all the help from other hubbers, too.
Way to go Elayne - I'm sure that your traffic will keep on increasing and those payouts will become more frequent
Congratulations. It is a great feeling. The second one should take much less time.
Congratulations Elayne!
I reached my first payout threshold in June and am now only €14 short of my second payout, so its true that they come quicker like they all say!
WTG!!
Wow, that's reassuring. I made payout in July - am really looking forward to seeing the sixty-something quid go into my bank account. (It will pay off two thirds of next month's council tax - whoopie-doo )
Congrats to you and Elayne.
Congrats!
You'll find the payouts coming faster and faster now.
'Scuse my asking, but how long did it take you to make your first payout, and how many hubs had you written by then?
Thanks you all for your excitement in my direction. Glad to know the second one won't take as long. I am thinking of concentrating on amazon stuff, but know it won't be nearly as fun, but perhaps more profitable. If I figure how much I made on each hub so far, it would be about 50 cents. Some were put together in about that much time, but some took much longer, so hopefully I can keep learning more tricks to get the traffic and clicks I need. Mahalo nui loa (thank you very much in Hawaiian).
elayne Congrats !! Well done teach me some tricks!!
Have Fun and blow it up!!
Congratulations! I'm happy for you.

In writing your hubs are you using the right keywords ? Good content and keywords will increase your traffic and get better payoffs.

Congrats Elayne. Don't be surprised if the next payout is in 1-2 months.
Aloha Elayne,
Great news, one year and your first payout. May each of your next payouts be double and in half the time of the last one achieved.
Great great stuff and well done
the first payout is the best!
Linking does help .Congratulations!

It took three months, I guess that's not bad! Now if I could just meet that threshold every month I'd be thrilled.Today's my wedding anniversary, so this is a nice "gift"!

I'm so excited! My Adsense has finally reached $100 after two years! Yey! I better write more hubs if I want my next payout in less than two years, huh? Hehe!

After 9 months on HP, I got that email we all anxiously wait for: I made my first payout and it was sent to Paypal. Woohoo!! Yesss! After a lot of stress, hard work, 43 hubs, and 30,300+ views, I can breathe a sigh of relief. Yes, I have a ways to go but this milestone calls for a celebration....

I've been a member for two years but wrote the majority of my hubs over the last two months after I finally got motivated to do so. $100 is not very much to be honest but it just goes to show that making money online is possible when I really didn't believe it at the beginning! Now I...

I'm happy to report that I reached this milestone! It was not a click, but rather a few extra cents made from impressions that pushed me over the barrier. So maybe I won't complain about pennies made from impressions in the future. This is a nice feeling!

Just want to share my happiness when I received today my first payout in the HP ad program. My Google Adsense earnings lag way far behind HP ad program. I don't expect to get my earnings in adsense at all. I'm motivated to write more hubs if only I have more time to do so. Thanks Hubpages.
