Hello, HubMobsters, thank you for all the great ideas for Christmas decorations.  There is no excuse now; we can all create some beautiful Christmas decors even if we are on a budget.

To continue with the Christmas spirit this week you can tell us more about how is Christmas celebrated in your part of the world.  This week's topic is about Christmas Parades and festivals in your area.  This is the time to write about all those little Christmas markets, Christmas shows and big parades that you so much enjoy and set the mood for the holidays.  Don't forget to make full use of all the HubTools like the map capsules to show your readers where your event takes place; if you have photos from previous years of your chosen event share them with us; use your news capsules to automatically keep your event updated and of course do not forget to add the RSS feed to your hub to give other HubMobsters some HubLove.

To join this week's HubMob please follow the steps below:

    1.  START YOUR HUB CLICKING THIS LINK.  Choose the "Answer this Question" green button.  Choose the MAKE A HUB ABOUT IT option.

    2. Choose a relevant title for your Hub

    3. Include the HubMob RSS Feed in your hub: http://hubpages.com/question/83889/hubm … ew&rss
For more information on how to add the RSS feed to your hub you can click here

    4. Add the HubMob graphic  http://i665.photobucket.com/albums/vv19 … stival.jpg to your hub so that everyone who reads it will know that it is part of the official HubMob topic of the week

    5. After you publish your Hub, come back to the forum and post a link to your hub with a brief description of what you wrote about and why.

Take advantage of the free publicity and of course, have fun writing... Merry Christmas!!!

This is my second time attempting this, last week I don't think I did it all correctly.

        Hi, you did things right.

Last week you only missed the RSS feed which you can still add to your hub.  Otherwise you wrote a hub on the topic, answered the request and added the graphic... That's it!  You did it.

This week you have all the components in your hub.

Perhaps you might want to make your hubs a bit longer.  I believe that around 300 words is the minimun to start attracting good traffic.

        Welcome to the HubMobs smile

Hi everyone. I just published a hub on Pittsburgh's holiday parade for the weekly hubmob topic. I live in Pittsburgh and love parades. Pittsburgh does an excellent job at celebrating for being a medium-sized city. I also included some fun photos in the hub if you're interested. Looking forward to reading all the hubs for this week's topic!

The hub, Sightings of Christmas is about a child's excitement at viewing a Christmas parade. Their pure joy and innocence takes an adult back to their childhood for a brief moment.

I wrote the Hub to help  remind parents to create memories for their children and for themselves. They make the heart feel good.

Sounds of the Season in Downtown Syracuse, N.Y. is beautiful every year. It includes a lighting of a 45-50ft Norway, a concert, a parade and much more every "Black Friday"

Princessa can I ask if it is too late to add a hub to last weeks Christmas Decorations HubMob - (I started it in the answer this question last week)  but did not finish it in time before the new HubMob week started? Sorry.

Don't worry.  You can still add hubs to the previous topic.  Just post your link on  the relevant forum thread.
As long as the question is left open (which I usually do) you can still add hubs to that topic.

I have published my first hub on the subject of Christmas Festivals & Parades. A link is below. I have had some trouble getting the rss fee.
    http://hubpages.com/hub/Celebrate-Chris … -Wisconsin

The hub is about a yearly celebration in a small Wisconsin town with the unlikely name of Rudolph. With a name like that  they just had to celebrate Christmas.

It is about 8 miles from the town I live in.

    I hope folks enjoy it.

I have just published a hub entitled Christmas by the Bay: Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin

Sturgeon Bay is a popular area because it is on Lake Michigan and provides a variety of scenic and sports activities. Their Christmas  Celebration lasts for several days and is early-namely in November.

I just published a hub about Christmas Parades and Festivals in Vancouver, BC.  You can find it at:  http://hubpages.com/hub/christmasparade … svancouver

I also included other local Christmas events in the hub.

Those who watched the 2010 Winter Olympics may have noticed the lack of snow here (thanks to El Nino) but this year may be different (thanks to La Nina).

As kids we used to pray it would snow on Christmas so we could be in a winter wonderland. If there's no snow, at least there will be lots and lots of lights.

Christmas is my favorite time of year so there is no way I could not write about Old Town Moore. Even though I live in the city it has a small town charm in Old Town during the holidays. I love that the city of Moore takes the time to make a family event for the holidays. It's really great how all the shops join in the holiday fun with special treats. If you live in the area be sure to come check it out. Merry Christmas!
