I think it's uncanny and troubling considering his bad attitude toward Israel.

You hate Palestinians? Your'e an anti-semite! And an anti-Christian.
So you favor beebeeguns and the Likud party do you?
You, as an Israeli supporter, can justify genocide? After what the Jews went through? To now do it to others.....you have no problem with that?

Sab, you can be disgusted with Israel and not be anti-semite. Your view is just so wrong on so many levels. I would have qualified for the holocaust, and you can see that on my profile. But Israel has done some very mean things and was originally founded by atheistic zionists, not religious zionists.

So while I support the right of Israel to exist they need to fix the humanitarian problem of keeping people captive. At least they backed off the blockade some. You couldn't get a bag of potato chips in Gaza. Good Grief!

I'm Jewish and I agree with you completely. Most American Jews do, and we're not anti-Semites. Conflating criticism of Israel with anti-Semitism is unfortunately the sort of nonsense we're hearing more of these days from people without a meaningful argument.

"Sab, you can be disgusted with Israel and not be anti-semite."

You can, but they seem to occur together with remarkable frequency.

"I support the right of Israel to exist "

And that sets you entirely apart from those Israel would 'negotiate' with to reach a peaceful agreement on the issues that divide them.

The point is Sab, people need to couch the argument in non ethnic and non racial terms. I confronted a lady on Seeking Alpha where I am published under the handle Gary A about racism in the discussion of the evils of Goldman Sachs. I stood my ground and she went away.

Racists and bigots lose their moral high ground. They cannot win the argument. But there are legitimate arguments to be made.

Perhaps. But not all people who criticize Israel are anti-Semites. Israe's brutal actions against Palestine have brought it to a new low in world opinion and a new low in U.S. opinion including college-age and young Jews.

A souvenir shop-owner displays a recently-made metal plaque for sale to tourists reading "Obama, New Tutankhamun of the World", in the Khan el-Khalili market area of Cairo, Egypt Thursday, May 28, 2009, ahead of President Barack Obama's planned June 4 speech in Cairo on U.S. relations with the Muslim world. The sign refers to Tutankhamun who was one of the last Pharaohs of Egypt's 18th Dynasty and ruled during a crucial, turmoil-filled period in Egyptian history. Hieroglyphics at base of plaque were claimed by the vendor to spell the name "Obama".

Looks like Obama's mug photoshopped into Che's hair and Commie beret.  Wow!  Striking non-resemblance, dude. . .

You need to look at the inside.  Eyes are easily deceived.

Oh YES!   I see the strong resemblance now.  Very striking.  But Che was so much smarter.

Photoshopped character assasination is to intelligent discussion what masturbation is to conception.

What's scary is that some of the creatures posting the demented pictures may actually be reproducing.

That's whats so scary, there is no photoshop involved at all.  Not one bit unless you want to count the airbrushing routinely done by Time magazine.  The Egyptian queen is Tiye.

Is there supposed to be a point here?
So both Barack and Michelle Obama have classic Nubian features. So what?
Certainly better than portraying them as headhunting jungle cannibals with bones through their noses.
Charicature has been a part of politics since time immemorial.
Hard to believe this thread has lasted 100+ posts. Must be a slow week.

Most of the posts are made by the same person...someone that thinks this means something.  She is next going to do a photojournal on how Obama looks like various African tribal masks.  Then she will point out how she couldn't pick Obama out of a lineup because they all look alike anyway.  Did you ever notice that Obama bears a striking resemblance to pretty much any black man on death row?  That is truly frightening.  Their skulls have remarkably similar shape...and their features...I just can't put my finger on it.  But it is very disturbing.  No president in our history has looked more like a black man than this one.  And we are sitting here and doing nothing about it.

That's not true, Sylvie Strong. What a hateful thing to say.

I find it interesting that President Obama treated Prime Minister so shabbily and that he so strongly resembles a particular Egyptian pharaoh.
