I would have to say Israel/Palestine, too - a major concern in this part of the world. sad

I hope that there is a solution.

A belief in a religion is not the answer to anything.

So, according to you the answer is in the following

USA alone has got the maximum number of prisons and prisoners in the world.

In USA alone, maximum number of rapes take place per day (almost 2000 rapes per day).

USA alone, has got the maximum number of registered cases of Depression, Hypertension, Obesity, Breast Cancer, Aids ....... (a long list of diseases) despite the fact that they are leading a top notch facilitated life.

In 2009, from USA alone, the credit crunch started and ate the whole world, imagine their auditors did not knew about what's happening in their own sleeves  .

USA alone, is under the debt of 7.0 Trillion Dollars bought most of it from Rothchilds (they are Jews not Muslims  ).

USA alone, has deposited the maximum number of soldiers in different territories of the world, just for killing and butchering innocents in order to fulfull their SADIST desires.

Danmark and Greenland alone, has got the maximum number of suicide cases despite the fact, these are the safest places and considered as heavens on earth.

EUROPE and USA alone, have got the maximum number of old age houses, where the open minded Atheists and Zionists dump their innocent and loving parents single-handedly.

UK alone, awarded the honor of SIR to Salman Rushdi for his book Satanic Verses in which he merely used slang language and abused Christianity, Islam and the Prophets.

Aside from Australia, USA, UK bla bla bla, Danmark and Greenland alone, has got the maximum number of suicide cases nevertheless these are the most modernised, up to date and safest places and are considered as heavens on earth.

Of my 5 aunts and 3 uncles, all but 1 lived to be elderly; and none died in a nursing home.  My father didn't live to be elderly, and my mother (who had a heart attack that led to over a year of being bedridden) was taken care of at home, by family; with the help of nurses, therapists, and others coming to the house.  She eventually had to lose both lower legs, and when she developed gangrene she was returned to her own home, with hospice care as well as family care, to die.  In the US the aim is generally to keep elderly people in their own homes, or at least with family members if at all possible.  Sometimes someone needs 24-hour nursing/medical care - and, yes, some are in nursing homes.  I have friends who have had their parents live with them.  One put a whole top on her single-story house in order to give her mother an apartment.  Another blocked off her beautiful living room in order to give her mother a first-floor bedroom.  There are luxury "assisted living" facilities, where people can remain as independent as they want but can have nursing help if they need it.  Of course, many, many, elderly Americans are perfectly capable of living as they always have, in their own home and often driving their late-model sedans.   There are also programs where outside help is sent in to elderly people who don't have family, in order to keep those people in their own homes as well.

I don't know what on Earth kind of care your elderly people are getting, but here's a bunch of links to programs aimed at providing high-quality care for American elderly people who need it.  Why don't you take a look at a few of them.

What about The Harisseio Home for the Elderly in Greece

It is found that the family in Greece still plays a very significant role in protecting the poor elderly people but during the period 1974-1999 the percentage of elderly living with their children in Greece reduced substantialy from 55 per cent to about 32 per cent.

So, watch it, the dark cloudes of Freemasonry and ISMs are coming swiftly for this area of life in Greece.

Every country is the most problematic for the world.  Some can just do way more damage than others.  Sudan for instance can kill off an entire people.  That seems to be the limit of the carnage they can wreak.  The US and Russia can destroy the world.  The US, China, Russia and maybe the EU in concert can knock off other nations if they so choose.

When you're talking government you're talking degrees of damage, not are they going to damage things or not.

Why cant the United States be the most problematic. The Taliban was created by the CIA. Saddam was backed by the USA till he got mental. The current financial situation is a purely Bush creation. Just type in USA sucks and there are millions of sites explaining why.
    Personally I love the USA.

Actually the current financial situation began with Clinton in his final moments as legislature of Senator Phil Graham opened up many of the regulations. Bush just sat quietly by and said nothing as everyone seemed happy. I mean everyone was making money so why should he have stopped it? Only because it was the right thing to do, but politicians only roll with whats in season.

I ain't gonna be a popular American by saying this, but I think its America that's really gotten us into this mess. I think maybe it goes back to the push for capitalistic markets and the oil companies need to keep control of the oil but I think China is the problem now and looks to be in the future as they control the markets and will need the most oil supply to continue its growth.

As I said, there are still problems in the world and countries will always vie for whatever advantage they can gain, but the Cold War specifically did in fact end. You say the ideological struggle is not there but that was a fundamental aspect of the Cold War. There will always be troubles in this world, but that particular term just doesn't apply.

It still does, TK - it is a continuation war, two superpowers seeking political and economic dominance. As I said, it never stopped, just moved into a different sphere.

The US is still trying its 'Policy of Containment,' and Russia is using energy to influence others. Same war, different weapons.

The only difference is the EU, which (foolishly, IMO) is attempting to play both sides. Kosovo is an area of concern for those of us who live here.

  9. ledefensetech profile image68
    ledefensetechposted 14 years ago

There is nothing the US can do to advance peace in the Middle East.  We can enforce a peace, but a peace of the sword is a fragile one.  They'll continue to kill one another until the people on both sides decide they've had enough and get rid of warmongers on both sides.  Until that happens, it's status quo.

BTW, Bullfighting is illegal in the United States; however, it is practiced as a sport in Mexico and Spain.  Rodeo does not torture animals, there are a whole lot of vocal pro-animal citizens in the US that would not condone it.  Prize bulls that are ridden for 8 seconds in rodeo events are VERY well taken care of.  Probably live better than some people in third world countries with the best food and medical care.

LiTA ,As usually I don't see anything nonsensical and don't smell any straws in my posts. Best way of dealing with  the straw argument is clarification of position, which in our last debate would be your answering my question and clarifying your point of view which you didn't. More to that- I never misrepresented your position so I didn't even create the straw man argument in the first place and your accusations were based on false understanding of the straw itself. But what I did was making assumption of your idea of secure world with poor China. And I don't see anything wrong in asking the question when assuming opponent's position.

Are you completely insane?  And btw, what is happening to all your serious previous grammar mistakes?

My last post was not an 'over reaction.' It was simply a statement that the last so-called 'debate' was not a debate at all, but in fact a response by someone who thought(and might still think) she had a creepy poster following her around.

And no, I see no physical resemblance at all to Gala--anyway, there are more than a few portraits and paintings Dali did of her--showing you looked at page 1 of a Google search and do not know what you are talking about.  FYI, this photo of me is a photo ID...kinda severe, I think, but OK...I mean, its a photo ID.  I simply hate photos of myself, and always have, so I'm using this...anyway, who cares? ....and does that freakin' sound like somebody trying to "manipulate men?"  Uh, don't think so, don't care.

Now run along and find somebody who appreciates sock puppet shows and sick minds.  Moposan, huh?  German/Slavic for Guy de Maupassaunt. Surprising the stuff you find out on the net. Carry toilet paper w/ you.

constant bombing of innocent people and kids, mass killings, involving yourself w/o invitation, making up BS to attack.
Yes, the USA politics of a war economy is a problem.

On the other hand, women with no rights (parts of middle east) and treated as 2nd or 3rd class humans; North Korea - nuff said, pirates running wild, and drug wars in Mexico make it a necessity.  I just have a sincere problem with mass bombings of innocent people.

North Korea is a scammer playing on the US's military situation.  They know the US is stretched too thin to start overt action.  Besides we have learned our lesson about land wars in Asia.  The only thing we could do is relatiate with would be nukes and they aren't religious fanatics so they are in no hurry to become a nuclear dust bowl.  They are scamming for concessions; we just have to hold our ground.
The big fear is religious fanatics with nukes that's why Pakistan is still number one when it comes to scary.

It seems to change so often between such as Pakistan, North Korea and several others. At the moment, though, unquestionably Iran.

I don't get Iran. They claim to be democratic yet kill their own people, their leader has constantly said he will destroy Israel, is pushing for nuke weapons, and he is still in power. Who keeps him there? Even if the election was rigged you would still have to ask what the hell some Iranians are thinking, as someone voted for him!

Earnest, government is about force.  That's what keeps them in power.

No big country is perfect and everyone has problems and  its own policies but I think the most problematic country of present  world is America. Why?
I try to give the answer. Who kills the most innocent people in the world( In Japan, Vietnam and now in Iraq, Afghanistan and Pakistan? I don't know the exact stats but the answer is very clear: America Who is spreading troops to world and why? again answer is still America. Who is spreading new and deadly diseases like Aids swine flue and many others(most probably genetically engineered for the business of American pharmacuitical companies) in the world? America.
No country even Pakistan has yet try the Atomic bomb on humans but America did it on Japan.
In near future there would be great part of America in the problems of world. As America is now planning to stay in Pakistan to monitor  Iran and China, this will starts a new series of the deaths of innocent poor humans.

There is long list of America's bloody acts which needs several books to elaborate.

These are just my views about this topic you have complete rights to agree or disagree that.

America only tries to help because other countries ask for the help to try and establish freedom in their own countries. I do have to agree that America does seem to dabble and meddle in some affairs that they should keep their noses out of, but overall... we get asked for the help and we do our best to deliver.

Seriously, I'm scared of Iraq and North Korea as they pose the greatest threats for the whole world at this moment... If they use a nuclear bomb anywhere, the whole world is screwed, I don't think people get that. I wish those damn bombs had never been created! I don't want to wake up one day and five arms and ten legs and maybe three heads... urg... the thought.

ledefensetechposted 14 years agoin reply to this

No we don't.  We get involved in the affairs of other countries because of our adoption of a mercantilist form of economics.  Much like Great Britain in the 1700's we use our military to ensure our access to raw materials, rather than trade for them like civilized people.

Maybe that is true now in some sort of fashion... Either way, right now... I have to say that when I once was proud to be an American, I feel somewhat ashamed now.

You call this help? If this is help, for God sake we don't need this brutal help.

    @ledefensetech
Completely agree with you. You people should come forward and get your country back. America is great because of her people not military.

Unfortunately the government here monopolizes force.  George Washington once compared government to fire:  a fearful servant and a fearless master.  These people do not have our best interests in mind.  To get out country back may require the use of force, as of now, that's too high a price to pay.

Today's world is facing many big problems like poverty, starvation and diseases in poor countries, US due its influence over word can help to the solution of these problems. But unfortunately it involved itself into war. Hope this war end at sometime.
Everyone is waiting miracle now. May it happen before any big bloodshed in the world.

True, but Obama is raising the stakes by sending a lot more troops. The more troops, the more U.S. troops and Afghan people killed without a clear, positive end in sight. Not to mention the cost to American taxpayers.

What an interesting topic.  I read the news (however censored or twisted/manipulated it may be) but I really don't know enough about everything to decide one is particularly the most troublesome.  I feel the whole world is bringing the whole world down.

The most amazing thing is there is actually enough food in the world to feed everybody!!

Even I gotta wonder about this race ,the human race I belong too, sometimes.

I attempted to write a hub about homelessness and poverty too.

I wish the USA would cut down on its consumption ,less oil , less consumables etc, but its a big question needing perhaps an even  bigger answer..smile
