   I received my first google adsense cheque of 120$ on May 6 2011.

      My first adsense check came and returned without delivering to me by the courier company. I have requested adsense to reissue it, hope i'll be getting that by next month.

      more often than not, Google Adsense is over rated. If you're among the low % of users who earn more than $5 a day off of adsense - great.
      
      I find success with ClickBank to be a lot easier than adsense, even though CB has a lot of crappy products.

    Thank you all. yes it's true that first Google Adsense cheque is difficult to get but afterwards, it becomes easy to get subsequent cheques. My next cheque will be issued in June So I am very happy now. I had lost hope while writing online 6 months ago. It was very painful experience that working hard led to only 2-3$ per month. I was hopeless but I continued to get at least first cheque. Now the hard work seems to be paying. I suggest the new hubbers to work hard as only hard work can bring you google payouts.

    I wish to tell you all that it's not only hubpages which contributed to my first adsense cheque, but there is a contribution of my own website which contributed also in summing up the total of 120$. But I thank hubpages as I have learnt a lot at hubpages. hubpages is my primary school where I learnt the abc of SEO.
    
    So I wish HUbapges A Long and Everlasting Success.
    
    I wish all the hubbers a happy journey of making money at hubpages.

    I've received 7 Adsense checks now, in South Africa - this is a total from all the places I earn from Adsense as I don't use Adsense only on HubPages.

    Congrats to you both for getting your first paychecks. I joined hubpages 11 days ago and i am ruing the fact that I didnt come across this wonderful community before. better late than never. Such posts about first paychecks, steady additional income keep me egging forward and I will look to go forward without expecting much. I earned my first penny today I know it's silly but at least I got a start.

    Congratulations! I have yet to reach a payout, but I am well on my way. For the past year, I have not made a lot of money, but in the past week or so I actually made a decent amount of money. If everything stays on track I may make the payout in a month or so. I am planning on writing a lot more in the next couple of months.

    Very nice!  I know that feels good.  Though the adsense check might be our favorite thing, the HP pay pal payout is a lot more than twice as likely to be the next one.
