Hi everyone,
I'm new here, and just wanted to introduce myself. My name is Johnny Caito. I am 32-years-old and live in the beautiful beach community of Ocean Beach, in San Diego, California. It's a funky beach town filled with amazing little restaurants, antique shops, bars, surf shops, and an eclectic mix of people who call "OB" home.
Just recently I took a break from the corporate cubicle life that suffocated me more than the colorful work noose that wrapped around my neck on a daily basis, and have decided to dive into the world of writing. I posted my first Hub post today, and look forward to contributing more in the future. My topics will most likely cover things like: travel, sports, music, craft beer, and anything else that seems fascinating.
I look forward to engaging in conversation with many people here, and look forward to becoming part of the community.
Cheers!
Johnny Caito
Salutes 'n hoots from New Jersey! Just checked out your cool hub about beer snobbery. I recently wrote one about a particularly awful beer I tried. Cheers! (raises glass)
Welcome Johny, you have taken a wonderful decision and joined in an even wonderful platform. The topics you wish to write on is good and is sure to catch the attention of readers. Keep on writing with your passion and energy. We all here are to help you on any issues. HP is a good community so helpful to new writers. Wish you all the best. Await the pleasure of reading more of your write ups.
Welcome Johnny... HubPages is the best... Lot's of opportunity to make long lasting professional and personal friendships.
Welcome Johnny - Here is a bit of advice that might have helped me early on - if I may offer it.
You may want to limit your initial profile to 1 or 2 niches at the start. Then later create other profiles to cover other unrelated topics. The idea would be to establish yourself as an expert in one or two related fields and build on that to appease Google's need for authority.
Focus on building 20-50 hubs on one topic, then build another profile to focus on a new field of topics.
Welcome to HubPages, Johnny Caito. Best wishes to you in your writing venture.
Welcome to hubpages. Johnny you have just become a part of a uplifting and motivating community of writers. Look forward to your work.

Hey! I'm new to Hubpages (well, I joined about two weeks ago), so I wanted to introduce myself. I mainly blog about independent and cult movies, and sometimes about pop culture and media. I've started getting a hang of how HP works (I have a few friends who introduced me to HP and have been giving...
