Tips to Calculate Your Popularity in hubpages

   Many of you are published lots of hubs and you now want to be Popular and gain more readers who will subscribe to your mailing list and possible will bookmark your hub for further reference am i correct ?
   
   But How do you calculate your  popularity in hubapges ?
   
   follow these Steps
   
   1.Take Count of your fans
   2.Take count of your hubs (published only) You will get these from your profile page
   
   Now Popularity Percentage = (Total Fans / Total Hubs) *100
   
   this your popularity percentage so calculate your popularity percentage now

      Aha, but did you take into account profile avatars divided by hubpage comments minus the hubscore, multiplyed by a fish finger sandwich!

   Fans :108
   Hubs :92
   
   Popularity Percentage=(108/92)*100
   Popularity Percentage =117%

   That's not anything resembling a valid mathematical percentage.... I guess when you are an SEO expert, you don't have to actually do basic math.
   
   Fans and Hubs are two different things.  A percentage is when you figure out how much a partial amount is of a whole. 
   
   For example, there are roughly 88,100 registered users on HubPages.  1018 of them are my fans.  What percentage of HubPages users are my fans?
   
   (1018/88100) x 100 = 1.16%

      I  Know Fans and Hubs are two different things,Many of hubber  are interested in compare the both things That why i make this one

      Popularity is arbitrary and SEO optimization is smoke and mirrors.
      
      Google closely guards the way it ranks pages. The only info we have to go on is the original research published by Brin and Page; http://citeseerx.ist.psu.edu/viewdoc/su … .1.42.3243
      
      This is the paper that 'started' Google. All the rest is guesswork.

   Really I thought it was funny!   I never thought about using a math formula to give myself a popularity boost. I am curios now.  I wanna be popular... actually I just want to make money.
   
   Though with the formula I would think that Misha is the most popular hubber.

    I think that maybe to accurately reflect your unilateral popularity rating, you also have to factor in how many people you have become the fan of, not just how many have become your fans.
    
    Unidirectional fandom is true fandom. Reciprocated fandom is more like friendship.
