   Do you think this woman is attractive?
   
   Her name is Geminoid F; she/it is a fem-bot created by robotics developer Hiroshi Ishiguro. She can talk and sing with a human voice, and triggered by her inbuilt computer can show at least 65 facial expressions.                                                                                                     
   
   Did you find her attractive, or even fancy her, before you knew she was a robot?                    Or, do you still fancy her even though you now know she is a robot?

   Hmm... Not too sure. She is very attractive, but I would need to spend some time talking and getting to know her before I would be able to determine if I am drawn to her.

      Marry? No. I have many female friends that people would consider attractive and some that may be considered not so attractive, but they are all intelligent and witty and different. As for Gemi... She could well be my most enigmatic friend of all.

   When I saw the question asking if she was attractive, before reading your follow up explanation, I though she was okay but looked a little off, like too much botox or something.  The face has a blank sort of look, the skin too smooth.
   
   After reading your explanation I realized why.

   Every person is attractive in their own unique features. Yes, she is attractive in a way presented.
   
   I am surprised that 'she' is a robot. Hardly can tell from the picture itself.
   
   Hmm.... I do believe it will be a good companion in life.

   I formed my answer before I read all: "She is attractive, but she looks like a manequin." Her lifeless hair and shiny skin give her away. She also looks stiff or transfixed.

   I thought she might be a robot the minute I saw the picture.  Considering she's a robot, I think she's attractive.  Slightly odd looking if compared with similarly attractive human women.    I don't "fancy" her, but then I wouldn't fancy any woman.    I kind of fancy the idea of having someone like her around  to clean my house, though - attractive or not.

    Today, in modern English......we rarely hear the term " attractive".   We are bombarded with terms such as " hot" , " curvy", " bootylicious", "smokin" and, " dog" or " skank"...............
    
    With such words swarming around us, many of us do not know what " attractive " is.......
    
    Looking, at the photo only, I would have said..............she is ok, and I can see why some men find  her attractive...........but I do not see her as a real beauty, lucky, must the man who does, be........
    
    As a woman, I would not be " threatened" by her beauty, nor would I deny her the opportunity for friendship.
    
    
    Now, that you have told me she is a robot.............I rely on what I once heard a wise old woman say...........
    
    "it ain't nuthing but a dog, that wants a bone"....................

    Referring to the question, yes she is pretty and looking at her she doesn't look like a bot. She looks like a real woman.

    From the minute I saw the picture, I could tell there was something odd about this 'woman'. Its obvious that 'she's' a robot, it looks like a mannequin. I'll always prefer real women over anything artificial.

    I saw this on the TV news and you can see it's a robot when it is speaking, but it's still very realistic. A couple of years ago I remember watching a U.S. documentary about very weird guys who paid thousands to have human-like full-size female dolls made, and lived with them as if they were humans. One guy even had about eight of them and sat them on chairs around the dinner table. Those guys would certainly love one of these.

    I find her skin to look sickly. It has something about the complexion that looks wrong, and I would assume this person were somehow ill if it were a real person.

    Yes, but I also recognize her and know who -- or what -- she is, so my reaction is different than most people's.
    
    I don't "fancy" her, exactly, but I like her...or...how to put it? I feel some affection or sympathy for her. That's shaped by my feelings about these first-generation androids, which give me the impression of a tiny spark of life trapped in a lifeless shell. That's my irrational, emotional response: my rational side understands that the AI for Geminoid-F doesn't qualify as sentient (with Jules, we start getting into more complex waters, as "he" is equipped with an AI that learns).
