Believe it or not chicken wings and pizza. I really don't eat very much meat, but when it comes to chicken wings or a good pizza I think I could survive off of them  Wings are number one on the list when it comes to cravings though, with pizza at a close second.

Mac and cheese gets my vote, too.  The cheesier the better!  I bake mine with tomato wedges on top.  It adds a nice tang and keeps the mac moist.  Yum!

That is a tricky question but I would say it would have to be bananas. The bananas here in Brazil are small and quite sweet.
It could also be toast and honey, we have that most mornings for breakfast.

My favorite comfort food is some type of cake or pastry with a cup of coffee. It has to be rich and decadent like a four layer black forest cake or Italian cream cake.

Being a good ole' Southern Gal, my favorite comfort food is Chicken and Dumplins.  I've already written a Hub on how to make that.
Another comfort food for me is Fried Chicken.

Great question! My favorite comfort foood has to be taco soup! There is just nothing like a hot bowl of taco soup with tortilla chips and sour cream on a cold winter day! Happiness in a bowl! smile

Hmm...I never thought of anything as a comfort food - but I guess if it is a particular one than it would be nuts. Mainly pecans and walnuts plus I will add hazelnut butter and peanut butter.

Mine has to be ice cream in any flavor and when I really need it---Chocolate Ice Cream on Coconut Cake with walnuts sprinkled on top.

This is the only time I have sugar---but this is a super sweet sin and I love it.

That's a tough one for me as I have a wide variety of food that I love to eat. However, if I absolutely had to chose just one I would say any form of chocolate. I tend not to use food for comfort any more as it caused me to gain a lot of weight but instead I turn to being active as it has the same good feeling release and it burns some calories too. Of course there are still times when a couple of squares of chocolate is all I need so it still counts.

Tacos! I like them made with the leanest beef and fresh vegetables straight from the garden - lettuce, tomatoes, and chopped onions. No cheese please. And, don't use taco seasoning on the meat - just salt and pepper, please. It's as plain as can be, but it is so yummy. It's my "go-to" food when I just want to eat and be merry.

Chocolate ice cream is one of my many comfort foods. I guess most anything chocolate will do. I like chocolate cake with chocolate frosting, too. Sometimes a candy bar is good for comfort, but I seldom eat them as one leads to two and so on.

Ice cream and buttered popcorn are my two favorite comfort foods in the world! It's funny because my mother told me that when I was 3 and 4 years old, when the ice cream truck came to our block (back in the '60's), I would say 'No, thank you', to ice cream.

I don't ever say no to ice cream now though! Whenever I am stressed and want to wind down, that is what I turn to. Maybe not the healthiest choice, but I love it. As for the popcorn, that is my second happiest choice.

    Great question!
