Thank you, dear RozlinMohsin, for your appreciation. This piece is a continuation of “A Captive of My Mind” which I had written a few months ago. The mind is seen as a separate entity in both but in the first poem the mind takes control over the body in a very negative way and the mind-body discord creates tension. In this one, the mind learns how to find peace in a harsh and negative environment and thus gets back in sync with the body to move on harmoniously. I am very happy to know you enjoyed reading the poem. My blessings to you...

    Hello Farah!
    Beautifully done poem!
How one can be captive of one's own mind, and also awakened, is well expressed in your poem!
Thank you for sharing, and thanks to Misbah too!

Thank you so much, dear Ms. ChitrangadaSharan, for your love and support. I am very happy to know you found this poem expressive and beautiful. Yes, sometimes our mind and body may fail to work in synchrony, leading to a tormenting situation where one may feel stuck, but there is always a way out and it is just a matter of time working on these differences and finding space for peace within yourself despite all the surrounding hardships.
      My blessings to you always.

    Absolutely beautiful !

This poem shows how we often feel so frustrated we forget that feeling.
It's great when we find it.

It is indeed a mysterious land
    Where we find peace.

One of your best pieces.   Great job.
