I need some help finding hubs that answer some basic questions I get asked a lot.

I know many of you have lots of great hubs bookmarked, perhaps you could share for me and cut down on my research time?

I know of a few long term hubbers that answer these questions well and with experience,on the other hand ive seen dozens made by new users that are rather misleading...what hubs helped you a lot when you were first starting

These are the questions Im trying to answer (well, find hubs that answer for me)

How to sign up for hubpages?

Why sign up for hubpages/a persons experience at hubpages?

How to sign up for adsense?

How to sign up for amazon?

How to sign up for ebay?

How to design a product hub

How to optimize hub layout for adsense

How to use compose hub tools (links, picture capsule etc.)

What is an rss feed, how to use an rss feed

How to properly credit images in a hub

where to find rights free images/cc images for a hub

How to attract traffic using image tags and labeling

    How to use social bookmarking

    what is a backlink?

    How to get backlinks?

Personal experience/Milestone hubs  (How I made my first  $100 with adsense and related ideas)

What happens when my hub is flagged?

    Proper forum etiquette on hubpages?

What is twitter/how to promote your hubs with twitter?

fringe benefits of hubpages writing ( ive been approached by editors..hired for magazines..stories of that type)

Other writing sites that i use?

Comparisons of hubpages to other writing sites (pros/cons)

Setting up URL Channels in AdSense

    Using Google Analytics

....and just about any hubpages related how-to that really solved a problem for you or opened up your mind to new concepts and methods.

Please give me the link, i am openly soliciting it, even if you wrote it yourself

This is the knowledge exchange forum and any of these topics are of use to future thread readers and not likely to be commercially successful.

Thanks in advance for cutting down on my research time

( I should have added how to spell..the importance of spelling and grammar Recommend ..sorry :0

after reading through some of the suggested links already, im adding one other more general request...

Because of the controlled design options at hubpages a lot of our hubs are look a likes, a lot of us sacrifice design for adsense optimization or what we think is amazon optimization

i saw a couple of really stellar hubs in this list that broke the design mold, using custom icons and integrating separation elements by inserting pictures

So throw those at me...who designs unique hubs that really stand out in your eyes.

in case your interested which hub brought this concept to mind

    http://hubpages.com/hub/rules

...it incorporates a table of contents, has a unified design throughout and has custom or well selected icons..hardly recognize it as a hub after scrolling past the fold

Thanks again for all the sharing!

A dummy proof guide on how to get backlinks.  Sites included.  Additionally, how many backlinks is enough at certain sites for reasonable traffic.  (Yes, I know, there are never enough backlinks)

    Other writing sites I use.

I am new here and have been reading a lot of hubpages to get a  handle on things here.  At the moment I am trying to figure out why my adsense ID is not showing up on my affiliate settings.  I was approved on Nov. 7.  Thought it might be picked up by now.

Check out http://hubpages.com/hub/HubPages-and-Google-Adsense by sandra rink.  She has links to other hubs at the bottom.  I found her info helpful.  Will look forward to yours.

You haven't associated your AdSense account with HubPages.  To do that, go here, select "yes" and then follow the directions.

I actually think it would be great if you figured out a way to link everyone's traffic to my hubs.

It should work in such a fashion that each time their readers click the back button when they're through reading they end up on my pages. Not my profile mind you, but all my hubs in succession, starting with the one you are going to write about this subject.

    Signed, eternally grateful

    Oops,

did I type that out loud?

On a serious note, I like to read a more simplified technique for backlinking, including a strategic overall view for attracting traffic.

  11. sunforged profile image71
    sunforgedposted 14 years ago

That would be wonderful...do you have a hub that we should be directing traffic to?

    Full Disclosure:

First use of links will be a folder in my bookmarks..than i can reference them in forum posts, in response to emails i get from fellow hubbers and to share with facebook and twitter friends who sometimes ask what hubpages is since I share hubs all the time (not only mine..but always with a tracker)

A detailed article off of hubpages...so every link i include will get one measly backlink from me..not much of a carrot..i know

maybe eventually a hub also...BUT, there are already quite a few good hubs that aggregate the helpful hubs.

I am looking for the perspective  the newer hubbers, I started hubpages with a pre existing internet marketing background so my perspective of what is most helpful might be flawed, I think the most helpful hubs on this topic will speak to those more new to the topic and use less jargon and be more focused on each question

wasnt sure, but seemed like you disapproved of the idea that i might write a hub with links that other people provided?

  12. readytoescape profile image61
    readytoescapeposted 14 years ago

Yes 32 of them, all need traffic help.

I'm just now getting command of putting capsules togther, don't over tax me.

Thirty years in construction does not an internet marketeer make.

I do have some of your hubs bookmarked for reference as well as darkside's and realache's

These were helpful to me in doing my RSS feeds and a few links on my first hubs.
