Pamela shows us a number of reasons in life where we could take chances. Please read her lovely article. I loved both her poems including the acrostic one. Here is the link:

Lovely poems, Pamela. Yes unless we take a chance we cannot move forward. Even if we don't succeed, at least we would have tried. Great response to Brenda's word prompt. Thanks Rosina for sharing.

Pamela has created lovely and very encouraging poems. I think that following its advice would help many people improve their lives. I love the fact that she refers to "your God" in the first poem. This should allow some people with a nontraditional idea of what God is to appreciate the poem.

Chitrangada, Thank you so much for your generous comments. I am glad you consider this an "excellent response" to the prompt. Happy weekend to you as well.

Linda, I appreciate all of your comments, and I referred to "your God" just for that reason. Our beliefs may not all be the same. Have a good weekend!

    Pamela
I love your  Introduction.  You're so right.

We never know just how long we have left.

    This is great advice:
Get up, Dress up, Show up,
    and Never give up!

Your poem take a chance tells us we can't succeed if we don't try if we don't try.

It gives excellent advice Telling us if we have a difficult problem to look towards God.

To listen to the Birds chirp To know that bad times are not going to last forever.

That Cody Johnson song is one of my favorites.

    You're  poem says it all.
Take a chance.  Pray to God to help you with your dreams & never give up.
There is always a second chance.

I'll post a link in the word prompt article.

Pamela...i hurt my wrist by Overworking it, So I'm testing out talking to make my words spell on the page.

Brenda, I am sorry you hurt your wrist but speaking the worked just fine. I really like that Cody Johnson song too and it seemed perfect to accompany the poems.

I appreciate all of your comments and I am glad you agree with my sentiments. I absolutely believe in the power of prayer, and we need to live life in the fullest each day. You have experienced that in a very painful way. Thank you for taking the time to evaluate the poems and for posting it in the word prompt article. Have a Happy Easter!

Peggy, I think appreciating nature makes our days a little happier. I am glad you consider the poem to be a good response to the word prompt. Thank you for all you comments. Have a Happy Easter!
